Dunraven windows completed an orangery at my property for the previous owner 5 years ago. The bifold doors have developed a fault, dunraven will not supply any replacement parts or assist in anyway with the repair. It's not like I was expecting anything for free. Basically told all they could do was quote me for a brand new set of bifold doors. BEWARE!!! Follow up customer service is non existent.

Wow, Amazing, Glass roofed extension with bifolding doors and parapet walls Fantastic build quality, polite and clean working builders. I would recommend Dunraven to anyone

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Quality door, expertly fitted. Lots of choice and no pushy sales st all....... I felt that this family owned business went the extra mile, at every turn. Would very highly recommend.

Salesman was late turning up. He was actually already 40 mins late before the office called us to say he was running late and would an additional hour late. Not very professional to keep people waiting. He was pleasant enough but used really out-dated sales techniques or mentioning stupidly high prices hoping the quoted price would be more bearable. He was soooo wrong. He then dropped his price another twice and once again on the doorstep as he was leaving. Even his final price was 50% higher than any of the other 4 quotes from no-nonsense reputable businesses. Needless to say that Dunraven will NOT be getting our business.

Dunraven completed a job for my business, fitting a set of patio doors and a window in to a shipping container. They were prompt, professional and completed the works to a very high standard. The team are nothing but friendly and in my experience will go that extra mile to keep their customers happy.

Absolutely shocking sales tactics to my 85year old father. Door-to-door sales man who talked my Dad into booking an appointment the next day to discuss a new conservatory. He doesn’t need one and hadn’t thought about buying one before the salesman came around. The next day, the sales tactics were “This is a special deal. If you don’t sign today you’ll miss out. Sign here.” Dad was hesitant and explained he didn’t really understand the finances but the salesman pressed on, explaining that it was special self-cleaning glass?! And that it would be warm in there even in the winter. The sales man leaned in and put his hand out to shake my Dads hand saying “Do we have a deal?” (Like there’s no COVID- he wasn’t even wearing a mask!) Dad felt like he had no choice. He is frail, confused, has cancer and is vulnerable and felt so trapped so shook it. He was told he needed to write a check for £500 non refundable there and then and sign the contract for nearly £6k just for a roof! Needless to say, when we found out we were livid. We swiftly cancelled the cheque, contract and have written a very firm letter of complaint. Not impressed and would not recommend at all.

We asked Duraven for a quote on a conservatory roof replacement from glass to a solid roof. The sale man was friendly but really put a lot of pressure on us. We had to decide there and then or the super discount price would have not been valid any longer. In that instance I clearly asked the guy if the building control application was included and he said yes. Unfortunately for us, we don't have any proof of that. We accepted the quote and had the roof installed after few months. The ultralight product is really nice but no building control application has been made. As a consequence we had to start a regularisation application that costed us £700. We didn't want and illegal work, which also invalidate the house insurance, because it's our plan is to sell the house in the near future. In order to comply with building control, the local authority wanted to see proof that the new roof load has no impact on the conservatory foundations. As a consequence we asked Duraven, many times, to give us any documentation they had on how they assessed our conservatory and did the project. We had no help at all from them and at some point we thought we had to reinstate the glass roof, waste the £11K new solid roof or that the roof would have collapsed on us. No one wanted to assure us in writing that the roof was safe! We called and e-mailed Duraven many times and they only response was that roof replacement doesn't need building approval. Finally I managed to get some documentation directly from utlralight specification managers that were super nice and helpful. To conclude, it's not acceptable Duraven is not aware of the current regulations on a product they sell and are unable to provide costumers with info to resolve it. Very poor costumer service!

We recently asked for a quotation to upgrade our conservatory from this company. A dunraven employee came over to our house to assess the conservatory and we were utterly disgusted with his attitude!! First of all, he entered our house with no PPE and did not offer to wear a mask. Second of all, he gave us an initial ridiculously high quote and eventually brought this down…£11,000 cheaper than the first quote!! He wanted an answer there and then!! When we said we needed a couple of days to think this through, his whole attitude/demeanour changed! He then slammed his briefcase and said he was leaving! Absolutely disgusting behaviour and he made us feel so uncomfortable in our own home! We were so glad to see him leave! Please do not use this company! Rude employees and so unprofessional! Would never touch these again!

We had our doors and windows fitted a year ago. One year on and we are still trying to get out of our front door. So many phone calls, so many engineers coming and saying nothing is wrong but somehow, we are still being locked in/out. Its a fire hazard and not fit for purpose. 30/7/21 still waiting for an engineer to call me back to arrange to come out again.

Just completed a full house 11 windows front back and French doors and a removal of a conservatory. The quality of the product is amazing the fitter Paul couldn't do enough for us and the standard of work was incredible very very happy with the all round service and would recommend to anyone looking for a job done right.

Amazing service from this company from start to finish surveyor came to price and measure up very helpful as I wasn’t sure what I actually wanted he talked me through all the options available until I made a decision, fitters arrived on time and worked to a high standard kept his mask on the entire time and left my home clean all old windows and doors taken away all together excellent service would highly recommend

Friendly, helpful staff from making the appointment through to completing the fitting. The windows are perfect, the fitters were polite and made sure everything was clean and tidy before leaving. Can’t believe what a difference the new windows have made. Absolutely thrilled - one happy customer!

Having a two hours appointment with a Sales Rep from Dunraven was like a trip back in time! Their methods are absolutely dishonest and shocking, talking (very) loudly, pretending to leave several times, pushing you to make an instant decision and especially inflating the price to then pretend to give you an "amazing deal" or "trade deal" like they call it... Reducing the price by £10,000 before you have even open your mouth should give it away really. Just a little quote on...their own website shows that the initial quoted price was double the genuine price for our project, the so called trade price 20% higher than the genuine price. Dunraven, it is time you step foot in the 21st century and be honest with potential customers. I am normally quite happy to negotiate and find a happy medium, but not when the methods used are deceptive. As a result, we will not consider Dunraven, even at a lower price.

I had a new conservatory roof and doors fitted in January 2020, has been plagued by leaks and faults ever since. The roof they replaced is not separate to the main area of my house and is an integral area to the kitchen/dining room so leaks have had an enormous impact on us. The doors fill with water and have dropped on the hinges several times, they now don't open or close properly and nothing has been done about this despite reporting it several times. The leak in the roof was ongoing for many months, and has only recently been resolved. An engineer came out to look at the doors and told us that they had a run of doors made late2019/early 2020 which had KNOWN FAULTS WITH DRAINAGE and they still went ahead and installed them in people's homes, he told stories of people's doors being full of water as high as they keyholes, with water coming out of the keyhole! This seems a perfect example of what they think of their customers. I'm literally at a loss at what to do with this company anymore, as despite countless emails and phone calls and promises I am consistently let down. I really hope this review spares other people the trouble and stress dunraven has caused my family.

Had a replacement conservatory roof fitted with dunraven .only went with them as a neighbour had a roof fitted with them who is very particular with what they have done . Done a fab job for us all fitters hard working and pleasant had new roof /spots/window sills and skirting boards fitted Reasonably priced. My only negative comment is get rid of the old sales tactics . Give the price of what the product is don’t over inflate the cost initially. Stop ringing customers all the time and u won’t receive all the negative reviews coz u do a very good job with the product.!!! The reviews for sales will put people off

Paid £7,700 for a small Porch 4 months ago and I’ve been having trouble with my door closing so I’ve been in touch with them 3 times already and they still haven’t arrived to fixed the problem, was going to get my front door done with them but I’ll go else where.

At first we were thrilled with the job they did on our conservatory so we decided to hire them again to do our porch(big mistake!). The reason for me saying this is that 1) Originally, they said that everything was okay with planning permission regarding our porch , only to find the council refused the planning permission and said it would be more like a conservatory which is what we did not want and we had to go with something a lot smaller and we didn't get a say with what we wanted. 2) I caught one of the so called professional workers spitting on my grass and with this pandemic, you would think they'd be more considerate and hygienic! 3) The brickwork was wonky on one side of the wall so they had to completely take it down and construct it again which not only wasted our time but theirs too! 3) They were incessant with shouting and we could hear them down the phone swearing which again really doesn't paint them in a good light! 4) The floor wasn't wasn't done properly the first time so yet another thing that had to be rectified(again, wasting everyones' time in the process, including their own). 5) I caught another so called brilliantly professional worker smoking in our porch that was being constructed. He didn't think to walk away from it! 6) The conservatory step had to be cemented down due to them having not done that properly the first time( they just surrounded it with sand and it was wobbly until we said something). 7) They were rude and extremely condescending to my mum when she pointed out the uneven brickwork because they said "you'd only notice the uneven bricks if you lay down on the floor!" Um no, it was pretty visible without having to do that! Need I say any more! Some of the workers were nice and polite, but on the whole we had a bad experience. Another point to make is how my mum had to keep phoning up multiple times only for the manager not answer the phone herself as she was supposedly never there or busy as the receptionist put it! All in all, AVOID! I've given it 3 stars only because the work completed has been fantastic finally after almost 3 weeks of waiting for it to be complete but there were multiple problems as mentioned above!!

It was after reading good reviews here we decides to go with this company for our new conservatory. Everything was going fine when the work reach it's ending point one employee popped in and asked us a favor of signing work completion form that I denied first then my husband signed as he requested that the work is almost complete and this will save his visit. Just because we had a good impression we agreed to sign. And here comes real horror of series of troubles........ The work which has started on May 5th that had to complete in 10 working days is still waiting for its fortune . Many small faults which they left untreated is still left as it is. All mess and construction material is dumped in my parking since then. People are not replying nor giving any satisfactory answer despite of several mail contacts and calls. 4 days before we contacted our finance support to look into the matter so that we can hold on repayments until they complete the work, they are working on it with all the evidences given by us. But company has still absente for any communication look like they don't care about anything. We are tired and frustrated from this response and now thinking of a legal action. Good for those who have nice experience but in my opinion it was our biggest mistake we pick this company. Edit and Update- 21/6/2021 One guy turned up for putting floor tiles from company this morning but surprisingly he doesn't know other incomplete issues which still need to be fixed. Now it is worst nightmare to reach them to ask fixing em too. May be another 2 - 3 months ....... God knows Edit and update 24/7/2021 Drainage from roof still not fixed yet. They came 2 weeks ago but with different color pipe and then left without any work. They did not even response here till now. Pathetic company, pathetic service
