Had a representative stop us on our way out of a store and offer a free quote for windows or doors. Accepted this and today was the 4th time no one showed up. Will definitely not recommend them if this is the way they treat perspective new customers.

Well my husband and I are still in shock from our appointment last night. We wanted a quote for 8 windows and a front door. It was going really well and we were interested in the products he had to offer. But because we wanted to discuss it and think about the price. He got really aggressive and literally stormed out of my house. I have been in the sales/customer service industry for many years, his whole attitude was shocking! He repeated himself a few times that he was the nephew of the owner, that it was a family business. Well his uncle needs to take a close look at his employers.

We recently had an orangery installed by dunraven. The builders were still on site when an extremely persistent salesman turned up trying to sell additional windows and doors. We were initially very pleased with the work, but a few issues have since appeared, which should be easy to fix, but trying to get somebody out to rectify is proving difficult. Dunraven should probably employ fewer high pressure sales people, and more in their after sales/service team. Right now, I would not recommend this company.

I have tried to get Dunraven to give me a quote. Not too difficult one would imagine… First time no one turned up, second time no one was available, third time - despite numerous calls to find out what was happening, no one was available to attend. What a waste of time. Go elsewhere, or be very frustrated by an ‘organisation’ which would make getting drunk in a brewery just about impossible.

A man came to our house last night to give us a quote for a replacement conservatory roof. We had been told that he would likely be with us for an hour to an hour and a half, so I didn’t think it would be a problem that my husband was running approximately 15 minutes late. The man arrived, I explained that my husband was running late but would be back very shortly, he replied “no problem”, he measured up but then announced that he was all done and that he would get a quote to us, and left! He had been in my house for less than 10 minutes. I was very surprised that the appointment was over so quickly but it is a simple rectangle conservatory so I assumed it was so quick because it was so simple. My husband walked in the door less than a minute after he left, they must have literally passed each other in the close. Today I’ve had a call to tell me that the appointment would have to be repeated due to my husband not being home! If he’d have told me he was leaving because my husband wasn’t home, I could have shown him on “find my friends” that he was literally coming up the road, and that actually I’m more than capable of discussing a quote without his help. Do you not allow single people to buy conservatories? The explanation given on the phone was that the policy is to reduce repeat appointments due to covid…and then tried to arrange another appointment?! What a ridiculous waste of everyone’s time!

Very pleased with the service we received from Dunraven. From the initial enquiry regarding choosing a new composite front door, to the surveyor who measured up , and to the fitting team, they were all very professional at their job. We would have no hesitation about recommending Dunraven to anybody.

Very happy with our ‘orangery’ aka nice conservatory we had done last year. Quick and efficient. Designers were accommodating to our requirements unlike some other companies who said they couldn’t do it. Installers were fantastic 👍 Awesome hard-grafters. We had two different teams in during installation and both were very good. The plasterer also did a blinding job. Price could’ve been better but you do seem to pay a whack for these things. A few tweaks were needed after installation and they did come back and fix it to our satisfaction. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dunraven as I think the quality of their product is very good and received excellent service. The only bad thing is the very over-zealous before and after-sales marketing. I had shown an interest at a stand at a local country show and asked them to come and give me a quote. I then wasn’t in a position to proceed for quite a while but yet I had calls more than once a week (which I started to ignore) until eventually I asked them to remove my name from the system and told them I would call them when I was ready. I think they do need to calm down a bit with this strategy as it lets them down a bit. A follow-up phone call or two would’ve done! At least it was better than the two companies I asked for quotes from which never got back to me at all.

Update 4.11.21 You will note from my previous reviews that Dunraven are slow at responding. It took a month for the last resolution. Dunraven paid a contribution of £250 towards our floor repair. That was half of the cost. We paid the rest….. nothing from them for inconvenience etc. On Monday they sent someone to fix the leak. Yes we had a leak a month ago ..!!!!! Remember this orangery was completed in July. Also (and I so wish I could post a video) my husband was able to post a book of boots coupons through the top of the closed door. Todays update is that we can’t even latch the bifold door and therefore can’t secure our property! That’s me unable to leave the house today. All of my patient list cancelled (just think of that when you’re moaning that you can’t be seen and waiting lists are getting longer). In fact I’ll need to remain off from work now until Dunraven send someone out to fix this. I just want to put a shoutout to Safestyle who fitted french doors and a new front door plus two windows. Perfect job from Safestyle and not a moment’s bother. I’ve written a review for them too- they’re great.

Very poor service made two separate enquiries 1st enquiry appointment made no one turned up a few months later made a further enquiry made where an appointment was made and cancelled at the last minute. An appointment made for the following day and they cancelled again cancelled. Very Poor customer service

We have just had our conservatory roof changed to a their Lifestyle tiled roof, really pleased with the result. Excellent service, completed within the time frame, clean, professional, I would highly recommend.

I believe that if you get the A Team they will give a good service but we definitely got the B Team! Plasterer and floor layer great and so was the builder that came to right the mistakes made by the B Team. Communication is extremely poor until the want you to pay and then they don’t stop ringing. Wish I had read Trustpilot before I booked, I would never use them again, very unprofessional.

We have just had a new kitchen door and replacement roof to our conservatory completed by Dunraven. Work commenced on the day arranged & both jobs were dealt with very professionally. The installation team were very helpful in keeping us informed & were very skilled in their duties. Each evening, the work areas were left clean & tidy. We are so impressed with them, we have already made arrangements for a new front door. I can strongly recommend Dunraven to anyone thinking to change their windows or doors etc.

Excellent customer service from start to finish! Always polite and very informative with their communication - very professional. Great job from the fitting team on our composite door and bay window, it looks top quality. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a salesperson knock out door asking if we wanted a conservatory to which I said no then he mentioned about a composite door and they could give us a quote which would be valid for 12 months. I was told at the time that the waiting list for work was nearly a year. I agreed to them calling me. The next day a lady rang and told me I needed to book an appointment for someone to come out. I stated I only wanted a rough estimate but she insisted that this couldn’t be completed until someone measured our door so I agreed to have an appointment. The following day a salesperson turned up asked us to choose the door which we did then quoted us a price (how he did this I have no idea as he didn’t refer to any paper work so I’m guessing he must have a brilliant memory and knows the cost of every little thing) he also didn’t measure the door so what I was told on the call the previous day was a lie. The quote was too high and he lowered it slightly. He also told us there was an 8 week wait (not the year I was told) and showed us another customers contact, with their name and address to prove the wait time which breaches GDPR regulation. I told him that I wasn’t making a decision on the spot and me and my partner would have to think before committing. At this point his attitude changed he closed his briefcase and was ready to leave stating that this price wouldn’t be available again and it would be the higher price if he had to come back to measure up, again contradicting all previous information we were given. We asked for a card or contact details for us to get in touch if we wanted the door and he refused saying they don’t give out cards due to Covid. This is an appalling sales technique with misinformation, pushiness and breaches or regulation. Needless to say I will never use this company after the sales experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. We were kept informed throughout the process from initial appointment to fitting of new roof. Scaffolding arrived day before installation date. The fitters arrived early on the day. They were friendly, polite and hardworking and work was completed in a day. Before leaving they cleaned up after themselves. Plasterers came following day to skim walls. Fantastic job done by all, excellent quality product.

Awful experience… We paid to have a replacement roof on our conservatory (my office) so booked 3 days annual leave. Day 1 - no sign of the workmen. Day 2, lead flashing removed ready for fitting the roof the following day. Day 3 - no sign of the workmen and Head Office helpfully advised that we’re not pencilled in (despite being given the dates months ago, having to chase up for numerous people to tell us it would definitely be today). Appalling communication, appalling service and safe to say I wouldn’t recommend Dunraven to anyone. To lie to a customer once is foolish, to do is multiple times is the death knell to any business. Shameful

Dunraven conservitrys have just started our instillation initially I called dunraven As we had no confirmation the guys where coming 25th October as first indicated the lady on reception I was told Shawn will call but after three hours I called again he was at lunch I was told he never called……. On Friday afternoon 5pm I was informed the builders would be on site Monday 25 as planned not a great start I think you will agree………. Monday the skip arrived 7 am. Bricks cement etc arrived 8 am builders arrived 9.30 ( Pete and Jordon ) they have been with us for four days there work fantastic clean tidy a great credit to Dunraven…….. we are now looking forward to the install …….. Sadly once again instillation have not called to explain the process which would certainly help us and other customers going forward ( I shall update this post as the project develops ) Communication 1 star Builders 5 star. Just had reply from customer services Saturday 29th 10 am who are passing onto building control great news ….

Our original experience with the addition of a porch to our house was very poor. Too many issues to record here. However, we contacted Dunraven directly with these issues and they sent a new team to correct the job and our porch is now sound. A couple of years later, we hesitantly used them again for a conservatory and a new window. Both of these jobs have been completed to a high standard. The teams completed the conservatory during the week we had intense heat in the summer, and worked exceptionally well to finish. Our window was not an easy fitting due to the size of the frame: this was a 2 man job, although 1 was assigned. The fitter again made sure that the job was completed to a good finish.
