Had a horrific experience with a sales agent. His name was Adam Hill, he had called my boss a week prior and she had told him she wasn't interested. After re-iterating that to him on the phone he became very aggressive, pushy and abusive. He tried to intimidate me to get my boss on the phone, trying to be sly about what he was calling for, telling me he knew she was there and I had to put her on the phone. It was very rude, ineffective and we've never even tried the product. What a way to get us to buy it? Immediately distrustful of this company!

We had a great experience with every step of the way. Ian Moroz has been nothing but helpful and eager to help in any way. Your customer service line is fantastic and where able to get back to me in a timely manner. If I needed help right away I wasnt on hold long I loved that we can make a appointment time and they would walk me through the problem.

Took 3 months to switch over a POS unit, something which should have taken a few days, kept on telling me someone would call and no one ever did. It's seems that the american office and Canadian office don't communicate with each other. Something they don't tell you is the lease of the unit and setting up a merchant account are 2 separate things.

I've been using the terminal Canadian POS for just two weeks. The POYNT terminal is smart and simple. just like a smart phone. I don't like complicated machine. But this terminal is easy to use and user interface is familiar. Just one thing I removed one star is the receipt isn't printed clearly. also when I cut the receipt after printing, the cap of the thermal paper roll is open and roll is falling down often. That part isn't strong enough. I don't know this problem is only on my terminal or common issue. I think it should be improved. Two months later// Their customer service was terrible. They took the money twice a month from my bank account. one of them I don't know what it was. They send the bill only one. the other payment wasn't recognized to me. I call the customer service. no one was answered. I left a message to call back. I haven't gotten any call back from them. I called again and again. I still didn't get any response. So upset. don't recommend business with them. I'll try to cancel the service.

We were fortunate to have Matt D guide us with transparency through the process of changing over from ‘Global’ and for anyone reading this...... beware of what other merchants tell you about the charges made to you! We are a small business and have been robbed by the above mentioned for 5 years with small print fees additional to what we were told of more than $25,000 to date. Trust this Canadian company

I also have a similar story in dealing with Adam Hill. How is this guy still employed here? Surely they read these reviews and have other sales agents? He was rude and pushy, constantly calling and hassling my staff to speak with an owner, sometimes calling several times in a day. When I did finally speak with him he spoke over me and was rudely interruptive and contentious to the point where I had to hang up on him and block his number. As someone in sales he left such a poor taste in my mouth that I'm going out of my way to warn people bot to deal with this company based on my interaction with their point of contact. Clearly this person continues to slip through the cracks or is kept on for other reasons despite the number of people that have complained. That shows poor management and little interest in actually helping their customers. Terrible for a company that wants to be your liason in your daily transactions.

High pressure sales in the peak of my busy season from Adam - kept calling even after I told him to try again in my slower season. Won't take no for an answer. Very deceptive tactics - the rates promised are not the rates given. Stated no terms (then turns out it is a long term lease). Is an online application that once signed they check boxes that were not checked at the time of signing. offered to buy out my previous contract with another company - once i cancelled and asked them to honor - will only pay the cancellation penalty (not the lease that was the discussion point when signing up) So shady - this has been my single biggest regret in my years of business - nothing but shameful!

Canadian POS seems to be a great company. The only thing I don't like is I spoke to one person to sign up (Sales) and then I have to speak to another person to get information or ask questions, and you deal with another company if you have questions about your statements, etc. I wish the company would set it up that you deal with one person until you are familiar with with system and off and running. Later if there are questions, then I understand having to speak to a customer support person. I discovered alot of companies use the technique Canadian POS uses and it is annoying because you are constantly repeating yourself and you questions.

Had trouble with the new point terminal and did not have the greatest experience trying to solve the issue. Still can't seem to log on to the poynt website or the Can. POS sitevor the site for reviewing my transactions. I have no time to be fooling around with this stuff.

Amazing customer service. Always accommodating and friendly! Management team is involved in day to day which I think shows great leadership!

So far, everything has been good. I have had not problems with the customer service or use of product.
