Lots of hiccups first couple of weeks inlcuding tap feature not working, not being able to select account type when choosing debit option to pay, mastercard transactions not completing on your end therefore shorting our deposits. When processing correctly, the machines are very fast.
Amazing customer service. Very satisfied with the terminal very sleek and modern all my clients are very impressed!
Had a chance to interact with Shane Reilly to discuss and resolve PCI compliance related extra charges. He helped to address the issue in a very professional and efficient way. His knowledge and customer service skills are really remarkable. He values customer's concern and tried to help in to resolve the issue in positive and constructive way. So far all has been good with one exception - i was having an issue to install and getting internet access. I called into customer service and left a message, call our rep and left a message, called for tech support and was on hold while I found the issue and repaired myself. The next day I got a call from customer service answering my message left. I really hope the response time will be much better next time.

Le représentant à travaillé fort pour m'avoir comme cliente et ma promis de m'aider avec le contrat de mon ancienne machine... ensuite plus rien... il ne répond pas à mes messages ou me répond quil est sur le dossier. Il ma laissé son numéro de cellulaire pour me montrer sa "bonne" volonté... et encore là il ne répond pas.C'est très malhonnête de sa part alors ne faites surtout pas affaire avec Max Martin-proulx. Sur une note plus positive j'ai eu un excellent service avec Chifa et jen ai encore un à ce jour.
I never find online sales approaches welcoming but I found Canadian POS to be great to deal with throughout the whole process. Our sales rep articulated the benefits well and wasn't pushy, and the transition has been really smooth so far.

So far it's really good. The process was fast and easy. Shipping of the machine was super fast and easy to set up.
Great customer service
These people are scammers without a doubt. I should have never switched my provider to POS. Their sales rep, Matt Dic(k) filled me with lots of lies to sell me the product initially. None of things he said was true. From day one I was over charged and every single month when I saw the money that they would take off from my account would put me in shock. At the beginning they responded my messages and they were kind about it, they would apologize for their mistake and they would tell me that they would add credit on my account for the next statement. They never did! They always lied and I kept getting overcharged. In 3 months that I was with them, they "overcharged" me for $250. I was only using their online Converge and the monthly sale transactions were about $1000. In 3 months I contacted them at least 10-20 times asking them what is going on! Eventually I had to go to my bank and make a complaint about them because no body was responding my messages anymore and I had no access to talk to them. Bottom line, they are absolutely liars and rip offs! STAY AWAY FROM POS!! Even your reply is a lie. I cancelled my services 2 weeks ago. You removed all the access from the platform so I thought the clients' card won't be charged anymore, but they did get charged at the beginning of the month while they were not supposed to!! Now given that I have no access to the account, I can't even make refunds to those clients and this is very bad for my business!!! You said you applied the credit on my account?!? LIE LIE LIE... I'm charged $216!!! Why? The card transaction amount was $1000. Why did you charge me $216? I have an appointment with the bank in 50 minutes now. I probably have to end up opening a new bank account as there is no other way to stop the charges from your company!! What a waist of time.
A very user friendly device. Information is at your fingertips. Email customers is a great option.
It's nice machine, however I was charged 45$ for the previous month even we received it by end of the month , asking for refund, So far no body respond to my complain and rates are horrible.
So far, not so great The Poynt POS terminals have been nothing but trouble. Some calls were helpful. Some no one knew anything. Yet nothing has actually solved the multiple issues that we are facing. We are waiting until the end of the week to have the issues completely resolved. Then perhaps I might be able to give another review. Feeling optimistic.
