I visited the Design Centre today to pick out a wedding ring. I’ve not tried on any rings with my engagement ring before so was really unsure of what I wanted. From the moment we stepped inside the shop, we felt very welcomed but not pressurised at all. Tina was very accommodating and helped me pick out lots of different rings that I liked. She was very tentative and I didn’t feel pushed to make a sale like I had in other shops in the jewellery quarter. I picked a gorgeous ring and was given nice complimentary touches like an engagement ring clean and a ring box for the ceremony. Very friendly staff and we felt so at ease. Will definitely return in the future. 100% Customer service! Which is hard to come by these dAys,
Very friendly and helpful - despite us returning to view the ring three times in total! We agreed a good price and could take the ring away the same day - in beautiful packaging too. A very good buying experience and I highly recommend.
Highly recommend popping into this store when shopping at the jewellery quarter. Large range of jewellery with unique designs which aren't in every other store. Staff were very friendly and helpful but not pushy and no pressure to purchase. I love my bangle and definitely highly recommend them!
I visited the design centre yesterday with the intent to buy a narrow white gold band with diamonds to sit alongside my engagement and wedding bands. The help and advice I received was superb as well as being shown a wide range of choices that would all compliment my own rings. Tina and David allowed me time to browse and try and I was delighted with my final choice which was sized for me within an hour.Excellent service. Thank you.
Excellent service from Tina today. Very attentive and bent over backwards to accommodate our wishes. We went away feeling very looked after and purchased a lovely pair of earrings for our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. We were shown a couple of pairs , bought a pair and left. Went for a coffee and decided to buy the second pair from Bina ( fabulous discount as we’d bought two pairs ) Worthwhile travelling all way up from Cornwall. Can not recommend this shop enough. It’s not our first visit . Highly recommended. A+ staff and service.,
Helpful professional friendly and quality jewellery.
I visited this store last year almost to the day with my girlfriend and when i went back in this saturday on my own to get my said girlfriend what she wanted for her birthday they couldnt do enough to help me, a pleasure to shop in their store and that means that i will be going back at some point in the future for sure.
Purchased my first ever watch from here and I appreciate how much effort they put in to get the watch I wanted for me as soon as possible! Also very friendly staff would definitely go again!
Wonderful experience choosing my diamond ring. Tina is exceptional with her helpful advise and expert knowlge so many sparkly rings to choose from. Dave made a brilliant bodyguard whilst I viewed my ring in the day light. We shall return soon.

We bought my engagement ring then returned to buy our wedding bands from Design Centre as the staff were so lovely, knowledgable and helpful without being pushy. We recently returned again to buy another special ring and they were great as ever. Much prefer shops that aren’t breathing down your throat and pushing you to buy. Will definitely return again!

We had been walking around the Jewellery Quarter looking for a pair of Ruby earrings for our 40th anniversary when we went into the Design Centre. Tina was very attentive and showed my wife a few options including "the ones" but they were way out of the budget. Tina listened to our story and negotiated a deal of the day discount which was still over our budget but close enough to enable us to buy them. Thank you Design Centre.
My rings were in need of a thorough cleaning, Allan made them sparkle like new, a safe pair of hands for precious items!
Hi Guys, sorry its taken so long to write a short review. We were in Brum with friends attending Crufts in early March. The plan was for our friends to buy a pearl ring for their pearl wedding anniversary. This is where I got invited by my wife to look at more emerald rings `just looking`....`I dont want or need another`🤥...`we cant afford it` bla, bla ,bla😂. We popped into Design Centre to browse..spoke to David...told him the plan was to browse,got chatting.......my fault..I spotted a ring that would match my wife`s ear rings.......and that was that..wallet out...no lunch money left!..I would like to thank David and his staff for the advice and guidance and on our purchase...I would recommend this shop for its service and excellent prices. It was a pleasure to shop there. The pic shows her new ring and her ear rings ..perfect match. To add....all the other stores in the local area were fantastic too. 2 days before our Civil Ceremony my husband to be whisked me off to the Jewellery Quarter, I've purchased lots of items from the Design Centre in the past so this was our place to go, unfortunately due to early onset of COVID-19 we were the only people there so had everyone's attention which was amazing, I wanted the ring to match another and they found an incredible piece perfect but too big, however we only had an hour before we needed to head back to Peterborough to pick up the Grandson from pre-school, but they pulled out all the strings and managed to sort everything out for us in time! Thank you so much for everything! However since the ceremony on the 20th so only wearing it for a week and now on lockdown at home 1 of the diamonds has fallen out, the shop is obviously closed so I'm hoping that something can be resolved.... To be continued....
