We went round several places in the quarter to buy an engagement and wedding ring. Tina at Design Centre gave us such fantastic service. She fully explained all about the diamonds without any pressure to buy. We bought 2 rings with an good negotiated deal. Would recommend to anyone.

We first visited this shop 21 years ago and still love it. The staff are so lovely and helpful. Today we were served by Tina who went out of her way to help us, I haven’t stopped smiling since.

My partner chose a eternity ring for me in August. He has since received a cancer diagnosis and with that we get married in 2 weeks. From returning to the shop Sunday morning with the best man and cousin we left with wedding band and the matching engagement ring!! It was a very emotional morning but was completely out at ease with the attention to detail in matching the ring he had already picked. Bina you really out a beautiful person inside and out and no your job inside out. You worked with the budget and gave us discount to help us in our way!!! Dave you selected a watch that will be an everlasting time peace for our son to be forever reminded of the love his dad and I have for him!!! Thank you again from The bottom of our hearts. This review is a little late so apologies to Ella and team at design centre. My Partner and I returned to the design centre is August to purchase diamond earrings for my Birthday. We were confident to return primarily because of the wonderful experience we had when purchasing an engagement ring the previous year. Once again we were made to feel like the VIP customer and they also recognised us from the previous yea. We came away with beautiful earrings even though My Partner spent slightly more than initially intended. Good sales negotiation!!! We didn’t mind as they are never pushy, you are allowed to take as much time as you need and you never feel rushed. They appreciate that you will spending a lot of money and they want you to walk out of the shop knowing you achieved what you set out to achieve.There is no aggressive selling, they are confident and knowledgeable about their product and will give you an unbiased view. My Partner hates shopping and parting with money 😀 however on both occasions that we have visited the store he has left the shop not feeling he’s been had’ but that he has got what he came for and it was an enjoyable experience. Even though it’s a bit of a journey for us, we will definitely be back for our wedding rings. They just need to make sure they put the kettle on when we arrive 😀😀😃

Having recently received an unexpected bonus from work I had been meaning to purchase a diamond ring to treat myself for some time and unsure of where to go. My husband and I popped into this shop in the Jewellery Quarter and were greeted by Ella who was most helpful in selecting the perfect rings for me. She spent a lot of time, was extremely patient and not at all pushy. In fact all the staff were super friendly. Was overall a great experience. I will definitely visit this shop again in the future for extending my collection of beautiful jewellery.

We have used the Design Centre before. We went for two wedding rings. We found just what we wanted at a really good price. Tina and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. A really good jewellers.

Whilst in Birmingham we decided to treat me to a new ring, the shop had a good display in the window, but also had the door open, welcome to browse, great displays on offer. I was served by Tina, who couldn’t have been more helpful, she was also very knowledgeable and gave me lots of information about the quality of what we were buying and the quality of items they sold, the after service sounds great, thank you

My hubby and me were looking for an eternity ring. We didn’t have a jewelers in mind and simply went into different ones. When we entered the store it felt warm and welcoming. After looking around we were approach by a lovely lady called Tina. We were just looking, but she offered for me to try different rings on and explained the cuts. I eventually found the ring after trying a few. Tina was very pleasant and not pushy at all. I really liked that. I’d didn’t matter that I tried on a few and didn’t seem to be hassle to try another one. It was a very nice experience to shop for a ring.

We were looking for a Ruby Ring to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in December. We have purchased from here many years ago and were confident to buy again. Tina helped my wife with her choice and was very patient, friendly and helpful throughout. Her colleagues were very friendly too. Thank you.

What a great find this shop was as we were looking for an Emerald pendant and matching earrings , Angela was terrific and extremely helpful in helping my wife to select just the right combination of pendant and earrings to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary, All the staff were fantastic and very helpful and full marks to Angela in making it a great experience, would really recomend the Design Centre Many Thanks Joyce & John

Wandered in to browse for wedding bands for my partner and I, all staff were welcoming and willing to help as we entered. Special thanks to Angela for being so friendly and patient with us as we weren't 100% on what style to go for. Bought mine in the end which was very reasonably priced and will hopefully return soon to finish the set!
