Bina and Tina were both excellent and extremely helpful in helping me pick my now fiancés engagement ring. She is over the moon with it and couldn’t be happier. The whole experience was very personal and both Bina and Tina couldn’t do enough for me.

As a customer who has previously purchased items at this shop in recent years we returned again to buy gold jewellery for a special birthday present. On entering the shop the staff were both very welcoming, attentive, courteous and friendly offering help and advice without the pressure of trying to get an instant purchase. Gemma our sales assistant was professional and excellent and put us at ease offering a discounted price on a chosen item for us to consider providing written details etc on the items. We continued our shopping trip to look at other shops etc but returned a short time later to purchase our initial choice. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with this established family business and we have no hesitation in recommending them in the future. Thank you Gemma and the team excellent service !
My fiance and I went in looking for wedding bands, having gone into a few different places and not really found anything that worked. Tina promptly found me about 5 different wedding bands that I loved! And then even managed to find a ring for my partner who had something really specific in mind and wasn't even planning to get one that day!!! Fantastic jewellers! Huge range of rings and great staff and service!

Thank you so much Tina for your help this afternoon in finding me the perfect pair of Ruby earrings. The level of service and helpfulness were excellent and we were not pushed whatsoever into a purchase. The Design Centre was the first shop we went into and we then trawled our way around other jewellery quarter shops before coming back to you to make the purchase. Will thoroughly recommend. All the staff were very friendly and we will be back.

On our sightseeing tour in Birmingham the Jewellery Quarter was last on our list. We just had 2 or 3 hours left for our Birmingham visit. Design Centre was the first store we popped in. Although Chat GPT advised us to compare prices and not to buy in the first store, we were blown away of the lovely staff <3. They showed us just what I was looking for and went even further. Within an hour they put the perfect diamond in a necklace just to match my the ring I already owned. Highly recommended if you plan a visit to the Jewellry Quarter!
A great experience from start to finish. It began with just browsing for a wedding ring, and we were served by Bina who was lovely and so helpful. When we returned a few weeks later after deciding to go ahead with ordering, she remembered us and what we had looked at which I was so impressed with as there must be so many people in and out daily! We got a great price for the ring and everyone who works there is so friendly. Would definitely recommend

Several years ago we came to Design centre for my engagement ring and we decided to come back today to see if we could find wedding rings. The staff were fantastic, just as they were many years ago. Gemma was super helpful. I went in to the store not really knowing what I was looking for other than being sure that I didn’t want anything too plain. Gemma guided me through a few options and we discussed what would go nicely alongside my engagement ring. We came out of there with both of our wedding rings and we’re super happy with our choices. Everything about the experience of purchasing our wedding rings was perfect from the minute we walked in. Dave and Tina were super helpful and knew exactly what to recommend from our descriptions and we found our rings for our big day on the 27th April. Dave even went above and beyond to get my engagement ring rhodium plated whilst we waited. Can't recommend enough :)
