I ordered salt blocks from Harvey Water Softeners, and 23 of them arrived damaged. I returned them on December 17th, but despite emailing them and following up, I have yet to receive a refund. When I contacted customer service by phone, I was advised that the salt, despite the bags being split open, was still safe to use as it wasn’t "infected" and suggested I tape up the bags to maintain the integrity of the product. This was not only disappointing but unacceptable for a premium brand like Harvey’s, especially given the high price I paid for their products. I expected better from a company with such a reputation. I’m extremely frustrated by the lack of response and the unsatisfactory advice I was given. Very disappointing experience.

I recently moved into my late Father's house. He had a Harvey water softener. I couldn't 'adopt' it as the unique QR registration code had already been registered by my Father. I liaised with Harvey softener supplies about the issue and Michelle was very helpful in resolving it. I'm now due to receive a new iLid with another unique code so I can register the softener in my name and use the app accordingly.

I am not happy with the delivery timing

Had to wait over 10 days for delivery and the reason was Harveys were too busy dealing with delivering a “successful special offer” for other customers. They emailed me to tell me that - highlighting that I didn’t get that special offer. Adds insult to injury as I paid full price so my delivery had to wait. Very very unimpressed with their communication making a bad situation worse so we will not order salt from them directly again. I have seen now I can get it cheaper elsewhere anyway. Complained to Customer Service, received email auto acknowledgement but no response at all. Clearly a company that cares little about their full price paying clients so I learned my lesson and no more orders coming from us. Poor effort.

Always deliver on time and never had a problem with my orders

The company had increased the cost of the salt by an eye watering 40%, there is no alternative to buy other than buying from Harvey. This is on top of the huge setup cost of approx £2000. I am seriously considering to ditch this product and opt for a cost effective solution.

Delivery was late by 3 weeks and the salt blocks were damaged to powder
