Awful product. We around £1700 and were told it would be virtually maintenance free. However the unit broke down in less than 3 years. We had to pay £189 just for someone to come out to look at it as was leaking water and water lying in the bottom of the unit. We reluctantly did this and had it repaired a few months ago and since then our water is frequently so salty it fizzes from our taps and we have had to resort to buying bottled water to drink.

The price of salts increased every purchase! I will change the machine. Not worth for money. The product is not recommended

Love the water softener but the price of the mini curve salt blocks has become so expensive. Seems like it’s gone up every time I go to reorder.

I would never get a water softner from harvey water sofner,here is my experience,we had a harvey water sofner machine,i purchased it few yrs ago in a cupbord in my 86 year old mothers bungalo,a guy turned up squeezed the machine in near the electric metre,we overtime smelt damp in wet room,she called thames water out because she thought she had a leak,we couldnt find the sorce of the smell,thames water came and checked everywhere,and found the leaks comming from the machine,water been coming fru the joins what the harvey water sofner guy fitted,and i rang them,guy said some one will ring me back,guess what,no body rang me,so i rang again,spoke to some one else,they asking me for nely £200 to come out and fix there leaking pipes what have rotted her floor in the cupbord,a puddle of water constantly under the machine,the smell in my mums wet room is nasty,we cant use the machine,shes to scared

softener system well installed

I recently had a water softener fitted, and I couldn't be happier with the entire process. The team was professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. A special shout-out to Mark Steadman for his outstanding customer service. From start to finish, he ensured everything went smoothly and was always available to answer any questions I had. His expertise and friendly approach truly made this experience exceptional.

Our installer was Salvatore who was a jolly fellow, very polite and treated our property with respect. The installation went well and he showed me how to link in to our WiFi. All in and running and payment only requested after installation. Thanks

When Salt arrived, one of the box had damaged blocks. Noticed it when we opened the box when needed to refill. Disappointed with the service.

After a couple of weeks since the original installation I decided to check the water hardness using the Harvey's test kit. I did tests every morning for a few consecutive days. It turned out that the water was hard 30% of the time. I reported this and Harvey changed my softener to a new one (after a lot of time on calls and emails with their customer service). I did the same test for the new softener and it turned out to be even worse - 50% of the time the water was hard. I requested my money back. The customer service booked an appointment for the softener collection and confirmed in writing but never came. I spent a lot of time again with their customer service again to rearrange and finally get my money back. They kept forwarding me to each other back and forth without trying to resolve my issue or answer my questions. It feels like they need a lot of training. To summarise, the customer service is not good. The quality of the product is not good, but somehow I haven't seen anyone complaining about it. Maybe it was just me being unlucky, or maybe people don't bother to do a proper test after installation. It looks like even 50% efficiency is enough not to get a lime scale build up, but it is definitely not what is promised - 24/7 soft water.

I am struggling to get in touch with someone at Harvey. I’ve ordered a disconnection kit but have no update on when I can expect it. I am due to vacate my property and need to remove the water softener unit by tomorrow. I would really appreciate if someone could get back to me with a response at the earliest

I had asked the delivery guy if he can leave the box nearer to my door because of my back problem and the box is extremely heavy. He ignored and left it on the pavement. I have previously had other delivery men who have happily helped put the box in to my garage.

Delivery ñot good box and salt broken

Package was delivered downstairs near letter box. Not on my doorsteps though my apartment has a lift. Struggled t get the heavy package home

I really appreciate the quality of the service. There's no more limescale in my house.
