My experience with Harvey Water Softener has been extremely disappointing. The sales team was misleading and failed to disclose important details upfront. They promoted a 90-day Money Back Guarantee but conveniently omitted that it only applies to the softener, not the expensive water filter. Additionally, neither the sales nor installation team informed us about the severe water wastage issue with the filter. We only discovered this later when we requested a technician to check the system—only then were we told that for every three cups of filtered water, seven cups are wasted (70% water is wasted). This critical detail was never mentioned during the sales process. Instead, we were led to believe that this was an eco-friendly solution that would eliminate the need for bottled water and reduce plastics. On top of that, we later found out that the Softener itself wastes 17 liters of water every day (told by their technician), This is also something that should have been clearly communicated upfront. Even if you’re not particularly concerned about the environmental impact, you should at least consider how much this will add to your water bill over time. This lack of transparency and misleading sales tactics have made this a highly frustrating and regrettable purchase. I would not recommend Harvey Water Softener to anyone.

I still haven’t received half of my order.

After a smooth installation of the water softener we needed a follow-up service visit. This had to be postponed a couple of times which was frustrating. There was also a delay in a salt delivery. But with help from Saffron, Harvey’s very pleasant and helpful service agent, both matters were resolved. The two installation engineers, Rhys and Michael, were very efficient and willingly answered my questions. The water softener is working very well and I very happy. All good and thanks very much.

If you want to experience great service from an extremely knowledgeable and patient person , get Adam to come and service your Harvey water softener. Not only did he send me regular updates on his ETA , apologising for delays ( such a rare thing for any engineer to do across any industry ) but he quickly identified the problem , explained my options , and completed the work efficiently and with the highest level of politeness . Excellent and the gold standard in service and repairs !

He was to the point never forced anything on us, only explained what exactly is needed for the home and the installation was on time that they have given us.

We are on our third Harvey softener in our third house. My parents just replaced theirs after 20 years. We had one put in 8 years ago and are having to call out a third engineer to fix it!! This will mean this machine has cost us over £500 to fix during this period. Never had a problem with previous machines. Reading other recent reviews it looks like the new management are pushing cheaply made,9 unreliable but expensive machines on customers unlike the previous and original management.

Hello. Have just moved in to the area and my house has a water softener of which I had very little information on as the previous house owner failed to leave any instructions. So I did some research and found that these unit needs additional softener every so often and possibly some servicing as well. So I went on Google and came across Culligan Harvey softener company based in Woking and spoken to a lovely Woman on the phone called Paula who advised me on the water softener I had and what was required in keeping the unit running correctly on a weekly and monthly basic. When I spoke to Paula i asked her lots of questions about prices and what amount I would need and was pleased how polite and helpful and knowledgeable she was on all subjects. Kind regards.
