My wife and I were embarking on what we expected to be the arduous task of purchasing a new Sofa. On the recommendation of a friend, we started the search at Christopher Pratts in Leeds. We were welcomed into the store by Anna, she was so helpful when we were looking around, there was no hard sell just a really pleasant experience. We couldn’t believe we’d found a perfect sofa at an excellent price in the very first store we visited, we’ve never been to Christopher Pratts before, but after this experience it’s now going to be our first stop when looking for things for the house. Went in today, saw the table we wanted and had to go looking for a salesperson. So none of the usual hassle experienced elsewhere. Richard processed our order in no time.

My husband and I were passing one afternoon and decided to pop in and take a look at furniture as we are moving house. The staff were so helpful and are extremely knowledgeable about the stock (which is vast). Lynn knows more about beds and mattresses than one imagines possible and gave wonderful advice when choosing our mattress. Duncan helped us select a sofa and dining table and talked us through all the buying options - it took all the stress out of making what turned out to be a large purchase but one that we felt confident in making thanks to these people. Lovely quality furniture and a flexible service that is fully tailored to the individual buyers circumstances. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I recently visited the store and was met by Chris who very quickly advised where to look for the particular type of sofa I was after. He was friendly, helpful, professional and answered all my questions efficiently. At no time did I feel any pressure. It was a very good, positive experience and will definitely shop in the store again.

After visiting many other shops we finally found the chairs we wanted here. Wide range of furniture on show. Excellent service from Andy. Helpful without being pushy. Glad we decided to visit - a good experience.

Our experience was made excellent by the outstanding service received from David Tolchard. He had very pragmatic and had lots of useful advice and was very proactive coming over and offering us help when we were looking round. We hope he felt rewarded by our 6 bed order!

Craig responded to my emails promptly regarding G Plan settees with prices and photos of display models prior to going to shop. On arrival at the Leeds store we were greeted by a friendly and professional team and offered refreshments in their cafe area. This was appreciated as we had travelled about 1 hour as we were not local. Craig then helped us choose the best settees and then the chosen fabrics. All options available were priced up for comparison and he ensured we were getting the best price. Anna also was very helpful and efficient. We have bought furniture from Christopher Pratts before and found their after sales service excellent too. Free delivery is a bonus as most shops charge and their convenient offering of a small charge to take the old furniture away on day of delivery of the new for us was attractive. We shopped around for this purchase and found Christopher Pratts to be the most responsive and most competitive. Altogether a very good pre sales experience. Staff knowledgable and no pressure sales tactics or upselling.

Impeccable service as always. It was close to closing time when we arrived, but there was no hurry for us to leave the store. We were browsing, mum spotted a chair she liked and Anna walked us around the store to look at other options. She then arranged for us to have a fabric sample to see it at home. Thank you Anna for your assistance and attention to detail. This was much appreciated.

We visited the store this afternoon. We were met by Lisa who was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable displaying great patience when we were deciding on our choice of fabric for the sofas. Factual, succinct and relevant. Staff member Lynn Fearnside clearly knows her stuff - her many years of experience in the market place of beds & mattresses clearly shows. After a good experience earlier this year, we went back to replace another bed. Didn't even consider anywhere else.

We purchased a king size zip mattress and couldn’t have asked for better service and excellent customer care. Lynn is very knowledgeable and explains everything to help you make the right choice. Over the last couple of months we have been in three times to discuss our requirements and she has shown great patience each time and has never rushed us into making a decision. Christopher Pratts is an outstanding store, where everything is displayed beautifully. Buying on line is totally unsatisfactory when purchasing a bed or other pieces of furniture. Long may this shop continue to thrive. Do pay them a visit - you will have a lovely experience.

We visited the store on the 11th September 2024 with the intention of buying a new bed. We were able to look around and then we were approached by Lynn the salesperson. Lynn was a mind of information who gave us lots of information, options and encouraged us to try the different styles/types of beds. We didn't feel rushed or pressurised and eventually we came to a decision. Lynn talked us through the purchase and because we were unsure about a certain measurement contacted us the following day to make sure that we were sure. We felt that the service was very good not least because Lynn was helpful and very knowledgeable.

David was so helpful in supporting us to make the right choices. He is both knowledgeable and friendly. He made us very welcome without being intrusive in his sales approach. Jake was also very helpful when ordering the carpet. He price matched an estimate from another company. It was a pleasure doing business with them both.
