In today's world of good customer service and bad customer service, I think Chewy has figured out good customer service. Have been using them for years now and anytime I have ever had an issue they figured it out and took care of it. Recently placed an order and unfortunately the next day lost my pup due to old age. They not only gave me a refund and suggested that I take food to my local shelter to donate, but a few days after I lost old girl they so graciously sent a really nice vase with flowers. It literally brought me to tears. To think that there are still companies out there in our world today who care enough to do such a nice thing when going through what I have been going through with my loss is really incredible. Just wanted to say thank you. Know sometime in the future I will be getting another dog and will use Chewy. Some companies say that they have good customer service but actions always speak louder than words. Can't say enough about the folks at Chewy. Thank you so much and you can bet I will tell all that Chewy the place for that customer service that we all looking for.

I have to say that in a new world of uncertain and sketchy Customer Service, Chewy.com has consistently EXCEEDED my expectations. Now even though my expectations have considerably lowered over the past 5 years, if that had not, Chewy's Customer Service would be a 10. The date for this reviews 5-26-2024. However, I have been using Chewy of about 8 months now and every time, EVERY TIME, I have to speak to someone, my expectations are Exceeded. They are so Kind, Pleasant and Helpful.

I have been using Chewy.com for years and have experienced nothing but exemplary customer service. Our beloved dog Bruiser an American Bulldog just passed away unexpectedly at 7 and they not only credited me for recent purchases without having to send the items back but also sent a beautifully written heartfelt card and a hand painted canvas of Bruiser. This company takes customer service to the next level and I would highly recommend them to anyone that has pets!

I have ordered from Chewy.com many times. I am always pleased with the speedy delivery plus am able to easily talk to a customer representative when I have to. What a JOY that is!

Chewy is absolutely incredible. Their customer service, they ship time, their products, their prices. The way they give back to the community and help dogs in need while also helping me and my pup makes me emotional if I think about it too long. Love you chewy; I’m a forever customer!

Bait and switch. Auto ship will cost you way more than competitors. $140 for a box of pills can can be had for $100 at many other sellers. Stay away.

So we tried a very expensive vet ordered food for my super senior cat. It didn't help and we had her put to sleep yesterday. Chatted with Chewy. They answered so fast it frightened me. I explained what happened. The agent expressed sympathy very nicely and refunded the $322 I spent on the food in an instant and asked me to donate the food. Wow!!!!! Need five more stars.

My beloved dog passed away. He lived to ripe old age of 19. I knew he had defied the odds and we had many loving and happy years together. That fact alone gave me peace. I know I did right by my beautiful animal. The hard part was loosing the incredible bond we shared. Loosing 19 years of friendship, companionship and love has been incredibly painful. I had forgotten that I had signed up for auto ship on the Chewy site for a product that I regularly used. A month after the dog’s passing, Chewy sent me the product. I notified them that I would no longer be needing it and I would be canceling the subscription. I also told them why. Chewy gave me a credit for the product. Instead of asking me to return it, they advised me to donate it. I was very grateful for that. Then, a week later they sent me a gorgeous sun flower bouquet and a lovely note. I was floored and incredibly touched by their generosity and kindness. Thank you Chewy. I appreciate your thoughtful words and beautiful flowers!

the website says order 2 and get a 3rd free. website is difficult to understand and they don't send a 3rd one. emailed them and they say it's in the fine print.

I want to start by saying CHEWY IS AMAZING!!! Every staff member I spoke with was so caring..understanding..sympathetic..truly heart warming. I've had a really rough time I lost my husband then my son became very ill my best friend almost died so my life was upside down. When I called to place my order for my dogs medicine they just treated me like i was one of their own family members. They even said I can call chewy in the middle of the night if I can't sleep and needed to cry that they would listen and help me thru it. That may not mean anything to someone else but it meant the world to me. For a complete stranger to just listen and let me cry was so amazing. I MEAN EVERY SINGLE PERSON I spoke to was incredibly kind and did everything they could to get my dog her meds QUICKLY so I could deal with everything else. I can't say enough nice things about the whole staff at chewy from the pharmacy to the call takers everyone was truly AMAZING. I got my meds for my baby and I can focus on things at hand thanks to the support and help I got from everyone at CHEWY ... THANK YOU TO EACH ONE OF YOU. you lifted my spirits and gave me a smile thru this horrible time. I wish I could thank each of you personally. So if you need something for your pet or just someone to listen I promise you the whole staff at chewy will help you in anyway they can. Again THANK YOU ALL AT CHEWY. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Sending hugs to each of you from myself and Chloe. You all are #1 in my book. Bless each one of you lovely people for going wayyy above and beyond for us. They used FedEx for their deliveries . Employees from FedEx are very disrespectful to customer’s properties. We ordered some pet treats and liter, Chewy company didn’t packed properly, packed food and liter in the same box. Liter bag was cut opened and food bags got destroyed, all liter sand and food were mixed in the box. Then FedEx employee slammed the box on the concrete at my front door when he delivered. My ring camera captured it how hard he threw it on my brand new concrete, and crack line appeared.

I ordered expensive dog food. 30 lb bag. First bag was two years expired and contained mold. They quickly sent a second bag and it was a year expired. Who is training their warehouse staff? Who sends out old food? I am told I got a refund. I told them to cancel my account and don't send me emails Bad business practice.

Chewy has been nothing but a positive experience since we started using them. There are always plenty of options and we always find what we are looking for. The customer service reps are always genuinely happy to help and professional. I’ve had to complain multiple times about FedEx not properly delivering my Chewy packages and they handle it swiftly every time and always offer a replacement. The only way they could improve their service is by ditching FedEx for a company that cares about deliveries.

Disappointed with this company since they started telling me to send items back even if the food wasn't looking good. A customer service representative told me once that if I didn't have the original package, I would have to put the dry food in a plastic bag to return it. I do see many good reviews here complimenting chewy for the flowers they reveive after pet passing. Are you kidding me? Making hard time for some customers to return something that is unusable and sending expensive boukets Also 1-3 days shipping is not very accurate, I did receive some of my orders in 5 days, including pharmacy item. But, I never called them for that.

losing my fur baby Sammy my heart has been so broken I alway order my food and treats from Chewy .com last week I had removed Sammy from my list and told them he was no longer with me the lady Megan I spoke to was so kind and expressed her condolences for my loss. I go outside to let Cody out today and found a package on my porch and the box said fresh flowers open immediately, so to my surprise, I opened them, and this is what I received I cannot believe how thoughtful this was and it did put a smile on my face. Thank you so much Megan and The chewy family The most beautiful yellow roses with this note We hope these flowers bring you a smile and remind you of the love Sammy left on your heart. Chewy is a model of how responsive and customer focused a company should be. They were so compassionate when I recently lost my cat….best friend, roommate, and king of the house. After telling others about my experience at least two of my friends are switching to Chewy and I am sure others will follow. I highly recommend you give them a try, you won’t be sorry

Chewy has been our go to for so many years to accommodate our dogs needs from food, supplements and prescriptions. I cannot rave enough about their amazing customer service from quick turnaround of an order to delivery and to the compassionate and kind service provided by their personnel. I called Chewy two days ago to let them know of the passing of one of our pups and not only were they very sympathetic and kind, they also gave me a full refund of the two prescriptions I had just ordered and not used for our ailing girl. Then the next day our doorbell rang and there was a beautiful arrangement of flowers send by them to us. Thank you Chewy. You have our business forever.

Chewy is a company that caters to their customers. It feels very much like a family business rather than a huge corporate conglomeration. Two of my cats recently passed away they not only sent me their condolences along with websites that deal with these issues, but today I received a beautiful bought of flowers. I have NEVER had a company that does that.

They are one of the most amazing companies. Customer service is unapparelled. I recently had to put my pet to sleep. I already had an order coming. I called Chewy to see if I could cancel it. It was already shipped. Chewy told me not to worry about. The said they would credit my cost of the order and told me to keep the order and donate it. I donated to my local no kill shelter. They also sent me a beautiful painted rock with my pet's name on it, along with a touching sympathy card. This company is amazing in terms of how they treat their customers! Thank you Chewy for really caring!
