I recently left a review on the Chewy site for a cat tree that was showing wear after only three months of light use. Without asking, I was contact by them with the offer of a return and refund. I was not interested in returning a big bulky item but said if I was given a credit to buy replacement parts from the company then I would be satisfied. I immediately received a credit! 100% satisfied with the result.
I love Chewy. My AutoShip for Haley‘s prescription didn’t come last week. I was so caught up in work that I didn’t realize it was late until I ran out of her meds today. I called Chewy and not only did she take the shipping charge off she gave me another discount plus she reminded me I had a $30 gift card which she also applied. Anyway, it all brought Haley‘s $50 prescription down to $16. That’s why I keep ordering my pets’ food, medicine and other needs from Chewy. They are awesome!
I have ordered from Chewy before with good experiences. But I’m writing this review because I was hacked yesterday and the hacker tried to buy expensive dog food under my Chewy account. I contacted them after I received a suspicious email, but their system had already flagged the purchase as suspicious and they went above and beyond to help me. I really appreciate the awesome customer service!
We had our dog on auto delivery for her anxiety medicine. She passed away on Father's Day and we received flowers from Chewy immediately. I was stunned! They also refunded me for the most recent auto ship that we hadn't even had the chance to open yet. Their customer service was kind, helpful and supportive. I will choose chewy forever and ever.
Good deals, bad customer service….they cancelled my order after it was approved because “I had used the promo code previously”. It was a welcome back promo code, good for about a month, and I hadn’t placed an order with them for over a year….
Chewy canceled my order just because they didn't like that I used the promotion code they sent me on email! I spent two days emailing them and finally bought the dog's food in another shop. I will never return to them, and will talk about these greedy people to all my friends. Choose another seller, these guys are just awful, don't trust them, your pets will never receive what they need. Customer service also didn't help. Just AWFUL.
We recently lost our beloved dog very suddenly. He was on a special diet that required prescription food. We called to see if we could return our pet’s food for credit, etc. Christopher and the Chewy family were so caring and heartfelt about our loss, and advised us on refund etc., and advised us to donate the food. A week later, we received a beautiful token in the mail as a remembrance of our dog from Chewy, along with a heartfelt card. Such a kind gesture, that just touched our hearts. Thank you so much for caring.
This is about the pharmacy. They're incompetent. Placed order four weeks ago, vet approved, Chewy messed up THREE times, I still don't have the medicine even after I've told them THREE times, I'm running low and please hurry up. Every email "takes 72 hours to process". Are they on a go-slow? Why does it take a month to process 30 capsules? Do they put one capsule in the bottle each day until they reach 30 and then send out regular mail because that's what it looks like. When you ask them to expedite and offer to pay the extra shipping, you have to call back when the prescription is ready to ship? What utter nonsense. I will NEVER use them for filling a prescription ever again.
Chewy is the best online company I have ever dealt with. I use it for Batman (cat) as well as Ava & Elle (Siberian Huskies). If there is an issue a simple phone call fixes it. I had ordered some medications for my elderly dog and sadly before the shipment arrived my dear friend had passed. I called Chewy to see if it was possible to cancel the order and the reaction from the team is something I've never experience before. The team was so caring and heartfelt about my loss, they rushed me through the return and helped get everything refunded immediately. A week later, totally unexpected, I received a small token in the mail as a remembrance of my dog from Chewy, along with a heartfelt card. It's not something you want to experience, but Chewy truly knows how pet owners feel. Customer for life.
I accidentally created an autoship of shampoo and bath products for my puppy. Upon receiving the 3rd shipment, I called into customer service to cancel. The phone was answered very quickly. The agent located my account and cancelled the future autoships. She then asked if I needed all the product and created a return label so I could return the unused items. It was above and beyond and unexpected (in a good way). I will be a return customer knowing that they really do care and have a customer-first store front online. Thank you Chewy for restoring some of my faith in the customer service experience.
We receive discount promotions in the mail and on email, but whenever we make a purchase at Chewy.com, NONE of the discounts apply. It is nothing more than "bait and switch" marketing tactics!!!
Never received my pets script even though Fed Ex said they delivered it. Chewy said they would resend at no charge. Never sent that either. Their pharmacy part is ridiculous. They have screwed up my scripts on more than one occasion. I'm done ordering from them. It's not worth the hassle....or money lost.
Chewy sent a highly misleading $20 off on $50 coupon by USPS. On the Chewy website almost everything is $30 off of $100. None of those, however, are eligible for the $20 off $50 coupon, which therefore is nearly worthless. Bait and switch: really annoying waste of time.
It was very kind of the Chewy Company to send us flowers when our beloved dog passed away recently. Thank you so much Chewy, it is greatly appreciated. Knowing others care helps...
I have had nothing but great service from Chewy! Their return policy is great and they will fix anything not up to your expectations.
Don’t bother. They only sell damage cases of cat food. I’ve had auto-ship for 6-8 months and I constantly get dented, cracked open cans. Customer Service gives nothing, could not care less. Won’t even look at the pictures.
Chewy's customer service is absolutely phenomenal. I've ordered from them a number of times and never had an issue until recently. During my last order a few items were missing when the package arrived. When I called to report the issue, the phone was answered immediately by an agent without any automated system whatsoever. That call took all of five minutes and they were kind enough to overnight the missing items at no charge. I later posted a bad review on their site for several of the products I had purchased that simply were not as effective as they claimed. Chewy soon after contacted me via email apologizing for the dissatisfaction and initiated a full refund that I neither requested nor expected. While the prices are slightly higher, and the inconvenience of having to wait for shipping is a little annoying, the customer service is incredible; almost completely unheard of in this day and age. For that reason, I'll be ordering all of my pet products with them from this point forward.
Chewy, there Pharmacy personnel are beyond incompetent. It had taken me 4 times as long to get the medication as they advised. They are so dumb when I call and give them the correct phone number they pull up the wrong account EVERY TIME. Even with email they still manage to some how screw it up again. When brought to their attention that the keep screwing up they promised a 30 dollar discount, that was a lie. They also promised to sented over night because of their constant screwing up, that was also a LIE. They said and it is advertised that I would get 30.00 egift card for 1st time customers, ALSO A LIE. So, to sum it up they cost me lots of time, about 9 phone calls, 5 lies, over charged, and so on. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND LIARS !!!!!!
