I ordered medication for my dog for the first time. The price was substantially less than the vet. It shipped right away. Today I received a get well card with 2 squeaky toys. My dog was excited when he heard the package squeaking. That was such a nice thing for them to do. I get my dog food on auto ship, and they always send the shipping information to let me know it is coming. 6 stars for chewy!!!
I just want to sing the praises of Chewy.com. I contacted them via the chat feature on their website to cancel an autoship I had on file for Sccy's food. I explained that she had passed away this morning and that I had just received the latest autoship of her food and a package of Frontline+, and that I had donated those items to the Animal Rescue Leage of El Paso. Not only did Chewy.com send me a condolence e-mail which was also thanking me for donating the unused and unopened products, they also refunded the cost of the products. I guess it take a company that provides for the needs of animals to have the human touch.
Last Wednesday I had to call in an order for my animals...I have 5..they have to eat no matter what is going on around us..my best friend died that morning and I couldn't help but tell the Employee Chelsey about it while making my order..she told me how sorry she was about my friend..we continued to finish my order and again in the end she told me again how sorry she was..then on Friday Fedex dropped a box on my porch that said fresh flowers and I thought well he put that on the wrong porch but on further inspection it had my name on it..I opened it and it was a dozen yellow roses with a card from Chelsey and My Chewy Family..it made me cry..you sure don't get that kind of customer service care from any other places nowadays!! Thank you so much Chelsey and my Chewy Family for thinking about me in my time of loss ❤️🙏 Y'all are Wonderful Sincerely Robin
They have the best customer support. Always friendly and willing to help. Their product pricing is on par and even cheaper than even Walmart for most everything. What I don't like is their $49 threshold for the free shipping. Everything else is top-notch. Have used them for many years
WOW that’s all I can say. Chewy is the best company. I don’t usually write reviews but this is a very deserved compliment. First, my German shepherd got very picky in the last year and I ordered dog food on chewy because there was a large selection that are great brands. Well he didn’t like it so I called chewy to see what I could do and they refunded me immediately and had me donate the food which I did. Next, we had to make a horrible decision to let our big handsome baby boy go. He crossed the rainbow bridge which is heart breaking needless to say. So I had auto ship set up so I can chewy. They not only cancelled the auto ship but then they sent us a the most beautiful flower arrangement with their condolences. I just want to say both me and my husband were shocked and cried so hard. We got it the day after we let him go. There aren’t company’s around anymore with this type of customer service. CHEWY #1 in our world. HUGE THANK YOU!! Not only for the flowers but how wonderful everything is with chewy and how caring they are. I will continue ordering from them.
I am lost for words, with the kind, caring people at Chewy Canada. First of all, I purchased a raised bed for my large golden/lab cross, along with a subscription to receive their nutritious, tasty treats for Banjo. When I was do to receive my second or third order of treats from Chewy, I had to cancel my subscription. The caring young lady on the other end, asked if we weren’t satisfied with the past order. I explained, unfortunately, my husband is receiving cancer treatment daily, for 23 days. The drive is some distance, and gas costs are phenomenal. I’m looking for a way to cut costs. The gal was so empathetic. A week or so later, I received a sweet mug, filled with a herbal tea and a lovely card. Chewy went on and above! They didn’t have to do that. My eyes filled with tears of gratitude, when I received this. Thank you who was ever at the other end of the phone, that evening. After being told the worst for my husband, things have turned out very good. We have been blessed, and know you were a blessing on the other end of the phone. Kudos!
They have been nothing but fantastic! We ordered products for our cat and dog that didn’t work, and they refunded the full cost and asked us to donate to animal shelters, which we did. We use them for pharmaceuticals too. They are awesome.
I've been a customer for several years. They always helped me cancel orders, return items, etc. when I had to with incredibly consumer friendly practices. They have the best variety and deals for certain things like dog toys and beds. I have noticed their deal quality has gone down. They used to not have a cap on savings amounts for things like autoship discounts and more BOGO instead of B2G1 or B3G1 deals. I find better deals on the vet's shopping site for prescription food now.
Chewy simply isn’t what it used to be. No wonder their customer base has dropped so much. I previously ordered on autofill, but my recent order, which is split between two products, was held because one of the two was back ordered. Rather than ship the one, they chose to hold the entire order, despite emails indicating they it was in the process of getting shipped. Two chat sessions and an email later, I was told it would ship. But guess what? It hasn’t. Three days later and still no shipment despite a complaint that should’ve escalated the response. So today I cancelled everything and closed my account. It’s far easier, as cheap and more dependable simply to order through Amazon or Petco. Say goodbye to Chewy!
They are one of the only companies that I utilize that blow me away with their customer service EVERY SINGLE TIME!
I have been a happy Chewy customer for many years and have always been very satisfied with the products, Autoship process and customer service. I find Autoship easy to change the date and add/subtract products. What prompts me to write this review is a recent experience with customer service. I purchased a $90 bag of dog food. Before I could use it, the vet changed the food because of a skin issue my dog was experiencing. Without hesitation, Chewy refunded my money and told me to donate the unused food to a shelter. No return needed. Love their philosophy! Love their customer service.
I have seen the ads, and lots of people in my facebook group recommend them. However, after signing up for an account, they refuse to ship to Alaska. There was no reason given. The shipping process to ship to -any- state is literally the same. The process to calculate tax and shipping is the same. Packaging for shipping is the same. Customer Service just doesn't know why their system has that artificial limitation in it. Due to the above issue, I have found that they do not provide service.
Even when there's been the rare glitch, Chewy's customer service is amazing. They listen, they are kind, and they have always made things right. Recently, I lost my pet cat Thelma, and Chewy sent the most beautiful bouquet of flowers to my doorstep. I can't think of any other company that is as caring as Chewy and because of that I will remain a loyal customer
I received a promotional postcard for 30% off my next order which did not work. (It's the 2nd time). There are no exclusions listed on the postcard. Spent 20 minutes with various techs to see if they could try to find out why. I was hung up on when they were transferring me to a 4th person. I called back only to be told I would have to repeat the process over again. I cancelled the order and will not be placing any further ones.
I love how they send the pets birthday cards every year that you say with them to order from them. They were even nice enough to offer and send me a painting of my cat from her profile picture. They have good sales and yes sometimes they will be out of a certain item but im sure its part of the supply and demand and things change in life here and there so i completely understand. And as soon as i am able to get myself going with some income again ill be able to order from them again. Thank you Chewy for everything that u do, you are very much appreciated!!
I an not sure if this is the Canadian Chewy reviews. I ordered from Chewy for the first time a couple of weeks ago (Blue Buffalo dog food and treats), since then our dog got sick. His vet has but him on special food that he will need for the rest of his life. As we hadn't open the food a reached out to CHEWY customer service. In today's market I had no expectations but was amazed that Jose offered to refund the cost of the food but also the treats (which we had opened). Chewy suggested we donate the food and treats to a shelter and went as far as to send me an invoice to give to the shelter so they can issue a tax credit. That is incredible customer service, I recommend Chewy to all pet owners.
Chewy has been great! I've ordered multiple prescriptions & medications for my cat. Orders are processed same day and shipments usually arrive in 2 days with their free shipping option. I was skeptical of a big online retailer, but when I've had to call in their customer service has been very understanding and helpful. I wish I could use Chewy for all my cat's medicinal needs.
I am very unsatisfied with them.
On May 30, 2024, I placed an online order for my 11 year old fur baby Shay, a flat haired retriever. Once the details of the purchase were reviewed , I realized I had placed the order for my Rottie fur baby Miami. I contacted Chewy immediately and received great service from Jeremy. He was kind, sensitive, friendly, and a problem solver. I expressed I accidentally ordered meds for Miami, sadly I lost her in November 2023 to bone cancer at the age of 12. Jeremy fixed the problem, gladly. Chewy and Jeremy sent a beautiful yellow rose and white carnation bouquet of flowers. You can’t get better than that! Thank you for the best surprise of the day.
i used chewy because it was quick and easy. i gave them my vet info, pet info, offered my urinary cat food for $120 a bag, only to find out i have to wait for authorization again. same cat. same vet. same food that i’ve ordered multiple times in the past. So they’ll take my $202 from my account and not ship my cat food. it’s cat food. not nuclear secrets. i order from them bc it was quick and easy. Now thats its easier to drive 22 miles to my vet to buy it, ill be doing that. no more chewy for me.
