Most of the time my dad is well looked after and the carers are good to him and very pleasant the cooking of meals for him sometimes the younger carers will only make a roll or sandwich for breakfast and lunch and a biscuit as my dad will say hes not bothered where as others will use there initiative and make porridge or scrambled egg which fills him for longer the only other thing is he has a mar chart for meds 4 times daily which is meant to be 4 hourly and depending on who is on and where they have to travel from dad has phoned me to ask when they will be in as he's hungry as he's had lunch between 11.30 am and 12 noon then has had to wait till between 4.30pm and 5.30 and his pain relief has worn off

Where do I start? Worst care plan ive ever seen,very little information about the client, definitely not personal centered at all. Been needing updated for a long time but noone is interested in doing so. My grandad has alzheimers and will tell you has eaten, carers take his word for it and do not leave him a drink or meal, again this should be in the care plan,on many occasions he has not been given his medication, that's when carers decide to even turn up, he gets two visits a day, if not for my mum he would not have had a meal in over 24 hours, this has happened more than once, no idea who the notes are about because quite often it's other clients names and not his, which is surely breaching data protection. I know we are no longer in a pandemic but again many carers do not wear PPE, gloves to prepare food would be nice as you may have previously done personal care on a client, again this is breaching infection prevention control policy and procedures. A carer walked in with chunky rings on every single finger and 4 chains hanging low around thier neck, not a chance any gloves were going over them. The app is constantly changing, you look in the morning and by lunch time it's changed, no consistency what so ever, the management team tell you what you want to hear but don't actually follow through with anything, I understand it's a tough job to have but there's just no excuses when it comes to the safety of vulnerable adults. It's shameful. It's some of the carers I feel sorry for as not all are bad, we have a few amazing ladies Julie and karen that come in and take the time to have a chat with my grandad and ensure he is fed, watered and had his medication, for this we are thankful. Do carers get any sort of training before going at it alone? elearning on the computer? shadow shifts? If so who signs them off? It's very worrying.

Most of the carers are excellent. We had a couple of issues with evening visits but overall we're very satisfied with the service.

Carers are exceptional. My dad's four carers Cathy, Alison, Mandy and Delia are amazing, they go above and beyond everyday and look after my mum and my dad. They are so caring, kind and thoughtful and are a true credit to the company!

Never knowing when carers are going to arrive, we are given a time but sometimes due to unforseen circumstances they are arrive very late, also they are not being given enough time to travel between clients, it would be a good idea if carers or company could inform clients of any delays, have no problems with majority of carers but some of them can be quite abrasive in their attitude and some require more training in how to handle clients and how they speak to them and relatives, some of whom have more training than them and can give good advice which is not always accepted

Cera care are probably the best care service in Scotland..without doubt in my experience. Previously, I've had the misfortune of having 3 other home care services, NHS, Midlothian council and Mcsence...all terrible with rude, lazy and unprofessional throughout. Cera Care have been a breath of fresh air with their outstanding performance, brilliant communication from office staff to carers on the ground..extremely professional, clean and tidy and always courteous..EXCELLENT! Cera care have been looking after my mum for over 2 years now and the care she has had is second to none ,the staff are very friendly,helpful, and always go the xtra mile to help ,we would be lost with out them ,

Excellent service from caring and professional office and operations staff. This is the third care company that I have used and by far the best.

I gave 5☆ review because generally they are very good, however I've had a few hiccups but as soon as I notify them of the problem it's rectified. What I also like is the App because you can see when they get there, what they've done and when they go .

Charging for care not received. NEVER replying to messages sent on the app. Carers always attending half an hour after time posted on the app. Administration not getting back to you when they've been told a problem. Carers are perfect no problems with them.

These guys don't turn up and do take the money Organised by Social services but we're supposed to look after my mother-in-law for the last month 3 days a week no show

The agency Premier Care are currently looking after my terminally ill father and the service has been wonderful. Their professionalism, attention to detail and the personal touch, has been a great comfort to my father. All of the staff have been praiseworthy but with particular credit to Karen, and notably Lyndsey a newer member of the team who has shown not only great competence but initiative in difficult circumstances.

Cera care have been looking after my mum for the past month or so.Carers pop in first thing in morning and just after supper time every day to give my mum her medication as she has onset dementia and stays on her own with family dog.Cant fault them one bit,make cups of tea and have a yap before they go,very professional at what they do to help as work commitments stop me going to see mum all the time.

Some carers are truly outstanding, & just have a natural flare for the role. Sadly, they are in the minority. These skills are not learnt in a book! I've had to request that some are excluded from coming; as either rushing to leave, dishonest about arrival & leaving times, grumpy & obviously hate their job or have no communication skills. Cera says their IT system doesnt let them exclude people. They have an appraisal system, so why do poor carers continue to work when they should be sacked? or given a written warning at least. Seems they will employ anyone, as long as there are "bums on seats" as it were. Fortunately, i still have my marbles and will speak up, but I worry for those with Dementia if a bad carer goes in. I'm an Ex nurse, so know good from bad care. Cera need to look after their carers so they dont leave!

From cares to management I've found efficient and professional and have no worries leavingmy mother in there capable hands 💯%
