I was very excited to get the job at ceracare after working in the residential care, I wanted something less stressful and more the way of a supporting role, the job description said I could be making a cup of tea being company for the residents or maybe a little extra if needed on getting the job I was expected to do two days training which was fine except they didn’t pay travel expenses which we didn’t find out until we had got there. One of the other girls had paid £90 in travel expenses using the train. after I’ve completed the two days training I realised it was going to include personal care, I’d already explained on the phone that I wasn’t very comfortable with doing personal care before I’d even taken on the training. I then met with my manager of the house only to be told that all managers at the house and all senior staff were due to leave in a few weeks. The manager didn’t seem to know what was going on as I was the first new recruit through ceracare for that particular home I then did my shadow shift and 3 1/2 hours into it. I decided it wasn’t for me the staff were stressed out and I felt like it was not what the job description had been at all. It was a lot of personal care and I was very much out of my comfort zone I explained to the senior I was shadowing that this wasn’t for me and I didn’t want to waste their time. The next day. I got a message asked me to sign my contract so they could pay me what I was owed only to then be told after signing it that I would not be paid for the two days training as I hadn’t completed my probation period. I’ve never known a company work like this and I think it is disgusting. It’s not a surprise that the staff are leaving at an alarming rate. i’m very disappointed with my treatment by ceracare when I honestly wanted to do my best at the job. the pay that was described in the in the job advert was incorrect. The hours were incorrect and what you were expected to do was also incorrect I was also told it would be contractual hours however this was only after your probation period and you up until then you are on a zero hour contract. My advice to ceracare is be transparent and honest and pay people for the time they’ve taken out of their work schedule or daily lives to train for the company.

Cera Grampian have been excellent all round, in caring for my mum. The carers go above and beyond the call of duty in their warmness, professionalism and communication. Whilst the office have handled any queries or requests really well, helping best they can when required.

I have had care from Cera carers for over two years. They visit four times a day to assist with personal care. They even go that extra mile when called in an emergency. They have come very quickly and hoped to sort out the problem with respect and dignity. They reassured my husband. Showing compassion, kindness and understanding are very important in giving care.

Ceracare (Ellon Branch, Grampian) began providing morning care for my mum who is almost 90 over a year ago. My husband and I share a house with my mum and we have provided all her care since 2023. The morning care, therefore, that Ceracare provide every day is really important to us and to my mum. The girls that come are just lovely, they take time with mum and chat to her the whole while they are here. I get some good chats with them too and we have formed good relationships with them all. As well as the care for mum, Ceracare also provide 3 hours respite care every Saturday so that me and my husband can spend some time out of the house together seeing grandchildren and other family members. Sometimes the morning times can be a bit erratic but we understand how difficult it can be to provide this sort of care. If there ever is any real problem, I can phone the office in Ellon and they will sort things out. For us it is a great service with really great people 😊

We hit the jackpot managing to organise care from CERA CARE GRAMPIAN for family member the introduction process was so straightforward no awkward questions to answer just the usual info was required and what times care was required for her everything was agreed in a short time the carers started the following day & each & everyone who has been providing care has gone above & beyond with their very caring attitude towards the client nothing is to much bother to any of them but this company from managers to carers are so good at making the client feel at ease when entering the property & they interact with her while doing their work always ask if there's anything else needed before they leave we are really lucky to have found this superb company keep up the great work CERA CARE (Simply the Best)

Cera Care Cardiff North, particularly Helen Prosser and her team of care workers, provided exceptional care for my mother as her Alzheimer's disease progressed. They were incredibly attentive, understanding, and supportive, listening to both my mother and me with genuine compassion. Thanks to their dedication, my mother was able to remain in her own home and maintain her independence for much longer than would have otherwise been possible. The updates on their app were extremely helpful, giving me peace of mind by keeping me informed about my mother's well-being after every visit. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cera Care to anyone in need of extra support to maintain their independence.

I would recommend Cera care to anyone, they have gone above and beyond to help my dad, they are not perfect but I have found they deal with any issues promptly and are good communicators. Thank you Cera Care for helping my dad stay at home.

I receive great regular carers from CeraCare. They all know me and my needs well. I believe continuity of care is very important. I can always contact the office or out of hours if any situations arise. The whole team are like an extended family and always treat me with upmost respect.

Being able to check which carer is coming and who has been to care for Mum is amazing, especially when I am on holiday. So reassuring, the carers in general are excellent at Cefn Glas and look after my Mum brilliantly. I can relax knowing she is cared for.

Having written a previous review I feel I have to again praise Cera Care Grampian and all their amazing carers. Today, unfortunately, my father is suffering from Chest infection and UTI and is very weak but Muhammad and John were so caring and professional that they managed to stick to his normal routine (and more) which put my father at ease and created less stress for me, am so grateful to have them. For anyone out there looking for the best carers for your loved ones look no further than Cera Care Grampian, in my opinion, they are amazing.

I have to give praise to a carer called Craig who supports my son he had an epileptic seizure whilst in public and he was an absolute star who stayed with us throughout his stay in A&E and beyond. A true carer who cares.

Communication problems leading to carer shouting at client. Never stick to time slot stated on the schedule on their app which impacts on medication as they are back within 4 hours. Othet times they are over a hour late. Not notified when there are genuine reasons for delay. Door keft open all night and even in the day door not closed. Other issues around medication not bring administered properly. Carers that don't care, there are a few that do but not enough. The list goes on but you get the idea.

My mother lived at Lingham Court for nearly 7 years from just after her 100th birthday until her death shortly after Christmas 2024. Both before and during Cera's time running the care services there, the staff invariably showed genuine care and interest for her - and for me and my wife as we sought to support her too. We developed a very good co-operative relationship with both the on-site managers and the individual carers. Communication was good; and when things did go wrong, as was bound to happen sometimes, our concerns were listened to and taken seriously, and always acted upon to ensure improvement for the future. The care staff made sure that my mother was always clean, properly dressed and smart, and that she ate and drank enough and with sufficient variety at sensible times each day. Her flat was also kept clean and tidy at all times. Over time my mother's needs increased considerably, and the care staff adapted well to the greater demands on their time and patience, going beyond what might have been expected in an assisted-living setting. They were also flexible in their use of the time allocated in my mother's care plan, so as to remain responsive to her actual changing needs and avoid being tied down by rigid adherence to a pre-set timetable. My wife and I are most grateful to the Lingham Court care team for all they did for my mother over these last few years.

ExtracareLambeth-Linghamcourt. I have been living here for over 4 years and I can say that the staff are very pleasant ensuring that I am well looked after and remain happy and safe in my home. Even outside my care visits, care staff will attend to me when I require support. I am always listened to and feel comfortable interacting with staff. My flat is always clean and tidy and thank you to staff for that. I am happy to continue to live here.

Both Tobi and Glynde provided excellent care for my father, showing great attentiveness to his needs. Management, led by Tee, established an effective feedback system that enabled swift adjustments to my father’s care. Thank you, Cera Hammersmith.
