My Mum has used cera care for 1 year. Her regular carers are great, kind, helpful and professional. Unfortunately not always as good an experience with agency carers regarding times of visits and not wearing aprons. The app is great enabling us to check on visit times and meals given. When we ring the office the staff are always friendly and helpful.

We have been using Cera care for around 5 years, they are always very professional and caring. Mainly use them now for respite so i can go out, knowing my wife will be in good hands. Thank you Cera care.

I am unhappy with the management process of continually changing my carers schedule. And I am continually upset over the lack of consistency of my carers schedule. I feel it is stressful because my regular schedule is very confusing and my regular routine is put under pressure because different carers attend instead of my regular carers who know my regular routine

I'm more than happy with the care I receive from the girls. If I have any problems the girl's in the office sort them out for me. I have a number of medical conditions and mental health. They understand and are very pleasant and helpful. I couldn't manage without the help I receive from these over worked angels.

The carers that visit my mum are all very kind, friendly, helpful and caring. They are all approachable and take time to perform their tasks. I find the app really useful and it allows me to check on how things are and send messages.

My dad now has consistent carers who know my dad well and meet his care needs. This is a significant improvement as previously he had a number of different carers and that had a significant negative impact on my dad who has dementia. The service currently provided is now consistent and very good. There was one issue recently when the case safe jammed and the carer could not access the key to gain entry. The carer phoned a relative who responded and provided a key so the carer could gain entry and attend to my dad's care needs. The relative phoned the office and asked if she could provide a spare key to the carer ( who was the allocated carer over the next 48 hours) as an interim measure until the key safe was replaced. The incident happened over the weekend when no keysafe service was available until the Monday. This request was denied even although concern was expressed about how my dad's care needs would be met as staff unable to gain entry to the property. I was advised rules were rules even when I pointed out the fact that if carers couldn't gain access to the home my dad's care needs would not be met and he would be extremely vulnerable in those circumstances. The response from the out of hours team was intransient. Fortunately a family member at great inconvenience was able cancel personal arrangements to be there for some of the visits and a key left with a neighbour which was not an ideal situation. I dread to think what would have hapoened to my dad given the out of hours response, if the family were not available to make emergency arrangements for access to the home. Whilst it is recognised that normally carers should not have service users keys there is some exceptional circumstances as described above where some flexibility and commonsense is required obviously with the approval of management and the family. The key safe was replaced on the Monday.

I am very happy with the service Cera are providing my Dad with. Currently it is only for a 15 minute teatime call but it is appreciated by the family as we know he is having something to eat at teatime.

I have received care from Cera for the last 6 years and I can only describe it as exemplary. I cannot really complain, sometimes a little early and sometimes a little early, but I appreciate the difficulty when the previous patient demands less or more attention than what is allocated. I get on well with the carers who are so co-operative. Nothing is too much trouble for them. As a 93 year old this is a personal view.

Great carers, my grandmother liked them all and nothing was too much hassle, they often brought her things and did simple jobs that made her day. The app is great to keep upto date, Would recommend. Carole was an absolute star!!

Rarely on time or stay full duration of appointment. Quality of care not great and majority of staff don’t seem interested in providing good service. Some decent carers, but let down by disorganised management and a worrying lack of understanding about how to care for people with dementia.

I've given 2 stars in relation to the prompt responses from the management team and also the super care given to our Mum by both Nicole and Mary. Sadly this was not the case with all the carers who seemed unable to read the care plan before going into mums house and made the same mistakes and errors over and over again, even when the management team spoke directly to them and asked for things not to happen again. too many of the staff who visited Mum were clearly not suited to a care position. We know only too well how under pressure the care services are but what was offered to our mum in principal was fabulous, sadly in practice 90% of the staff seemed unable to do the job effectively.

My father recently passed away and during his last weeks required two person attendance which meant we had to hand over his care from a small privately organised team to Cera. The change in both actual physical care and attitude was immediate and as I stated to the Cera supervisor for them the word care was sadly missing. I am sure they have the correct procedures in place to tick the correct boxes but am amazed that Wiltshire council are prepared to be associated with such an appaling organisation who are more concerned in the use of their app than the client although perhaps they think this may disguise their short comings. A final invoice sent to my father although deceased which was an unhappy reminder for my mother, showing incorrect attendance times, giving one form of payment as a credit card, no contact details to do this anyway and an incorrect postal address on the header. I cant say how guily I feel in having to watch my father attended in his final days by these people.

I wouldn’t bother. No real consistency with carers. Morning carer can arrive between 10-12pm then lunch visit between 1-1.30. Regular carer often sent elsewhere and a random person turns up. No calls to say carer is running late or carer change, then when I call to enquire they never return it. I only recently found out about the App. My elderly mother became suddenly unwell & required all care in bed which meant 2 carers needed to attend to her at visits. Despite calling this in last Sunday I have not heard from CERA. I myself had to take a week off work to assist with her care. Absolutely shocking disregard to care standards, duty of care to clients and carers. Lack of communication is beyond belief. Due to commitments I am unable to attend to mums care going forward & have had to ask an elderly family member to assist with carers. Might I add I have found my mums regular carers to be wonderful and very caring . No issues with carers. Office staff are another matter…. I have now made an official complaint to the care inspectorate.

Ive been working for cera/Mediline doing domiciliary care for just short of a year and within this time i have gained many key skills within home care. Some of my work colleagues were very unprofessional towards me but my manager Kelly from the tamworth branch gave me great support in my time of need and reassured me that I am competent at my job. Sad to be leaving the company as I have enjoyed being a care assistant but not sad to leave some Co workers

We have not been happy recently with the management of CERA. There has been issues with timetabling of visits. Sudden changes with regular carers visiting our mum who has dementia. There have been 2 safeguarding issues. When we make a complaint over the phone no-one rings you back.
