I have used Cera for over year and would say they have been about 95% efficient. They always strive to do as much for you as they can. They are carers with a capital "C"

Been having carers for a friend for a number of years now. Some are brilliant and some are borderline. My only nectative is that some carers turn up hours late or don't turn up at all and leave everything untidy when you ask them to tidy up also some of the carers are very rude and don't talk or apologise.

The carers look after my mom really well all very friendly and take good care of her the only issue we have we have told the office a few times that my mom has diabetes and needs to get up earlier then 10 or 11 o clock in the morning

The hands on care is great for my mum but as others have commented the office sometimes falls short of their aims. Our experience overall has been very positive.

We arranged care for by brother who had become dependent on help which we personally could not provide . The girls who look after him have been excellent in their care for him sometimes in very testing circumstances

I have 3.5 Carer hours a day. My Carer's experience ranges from 3+ years to the batch of three new Carer's whose experience is a few weeks old. However they ALL give me excellent care and this helps me feel safe and comfortable

We have had carer's in now for a few months for my mother-in-law And in that time we have only had one carer that we were not happy with so we rang up to voice our concerns about the carer and it was delt with. All the carer's are very helpful. And can't do enough for my mother-in-law. Nothing is to much trouble Every one is friendly. and I feel I can go to work Happy knowing my mother in law is being well looked after.

Cera care have looked after my husband really well and if he has any problems they adress them as soon as possible..they are usually on time and carry out tasks efficiently.. My husband likes experienced carers to attend to him and this usually happens

The carers are great but the office staff haven't got a clue they keep changing carers today they was 1 half hours late because the office changed what they usually do and when you tell them that try to make it look like your making things up they keep sending carers for training it's the office staff that need training

Generally happy Timings of visits vary due to staffing and availability problems. Carers attitudes vary towards clients but mostly positive.

The carers attend to my elderly Father and I would say a bit hit and miss. Some are really good but others are not so. Seem to have a regular one mostly, but often not doing the task of shaving, which is on the care plan. Twice I have had to report that this hasn't been done.

I'm not sure I can write a completely objective review, as I only have what my relative has related to me. Of course, I have read the reports after each visit. Overall, she seems fine with what has been put in place for her, although has complained that some of the visits were too late to really help her shower. The past week has been better. However, she has commented on how nice and pleasant the girls are and is happy with how they assist her in the mornings. I'm also aware of how under pressure the carers are to give adequate support to the many clients they will have to cover.

My carers usually arrive on time. Sometimes their arrival is late or also on occasions earlier than advertised. Usually this is for reasons beyond their control. An arrival time which is not what they have advertised is usually explained but not always. I have no problems with the standard of care provided. Staff are generally friendly and communicative.

I am very happy with the carers that attend to shower.me From the help I first got with the previous company to a quick 3 1/4s of an hr has greatly plummeted. We are given times now that some carers are roughly on time to others that do you a favour and try and come earlier than the late scheduled time which seams to creeping forward each month. My showers started at 9-9.30am and I'm lucky now if they are not b4 1230ish. They are now scheduled for 11 ha never seen that time for quite a while once after it was checked. The overall care given by cera is very good. Timings aside. They are kind careing and keep your dignity. Which for me is a big thing as I have body dysmorphia.great team work guys you keep me talking which helps immensely. Overall I'm happy with cera and hope when I have a regular spot at crossroads the new carers stepping in can help out with a mega early shower.

My mothers care was moved to Cera following a local council decision to outsource care services. Communication was poor between the council and Cera and my Mother & Family as was the sharing of confidential information. Staffing levels and also continuity of staff was initially agreed but not kept, this was distressing for my Mother and the support was poor due to Cera staff not knowing my Mother and not following her plan of care. The service has been good at points and bad practice at other points in time, as my Mothers advocate I have spoken and met with Cera staff, I participated in writing a full plan of care, however problems have still arisen e.g. used continence aids disposed off in the kitchen bin, medication errors, timings curtailed and not in line with the contract agreement with the Council. Continuity of staff has been a problem but as a Care Manager I appreciate recruitment problems but do not accept that they could not improve allocation and mapping to improve continuity. Staff selection is variable and I have asked for several staff to be excluded from providing a service to my Mother. However it must be said that the vast amount of staff are supportive, approachable and kind in their support to my Mother. After some length of time the service appears to be settling down and I hope that the future holds continuity of staffing, and that my Mothers plan of care is adhered to. I would give this advice to the Management of Cera Care, remember the more services you expect your care staff to attend in any given day means a higher risk of your staff not being able to carry out good practice because time management of a heavy workload dictates the quality of service they are able to give to your service users.

No one appeared to care for my mother that day and no contact was made either. The carers are amazing and do a great job. Sadly they work long hours.

whats the point of having an app to raise concerns, when noone gets back to you with in the time stated. i have sent messages through on numerous occasions about concerns and issues and still have not had any responses to any of them i even left my phone number so they could ring me back. But none ever has. i have emailed to no evail aswell. Local office staff are very abrupt and on the cuspe of ruddness. Okay we know office staff has been changed recently due to staff leaving but no letters to explain or give new details of point of contact. When rang on one occasion to ask for an email address i was given wrong email. So had to contact again to get correct email. carers who come to home are lovely most are very helpful and caring but rushed as having to come way out of their area to do job.Times they are supposed to come are not what were requested in begining , noone lets you know if they are running very late. definitely not good when call is time sensative due to medication. Leaving service user wondering when they will get breakfast!!. company need to communticate with clients better and respond to queries on app not ignore them. harde to put a date of incident as to many to fit in

Not sure what to say my mother has been with them since end of April and the carers are great as for the administration side not so good, paper work not sort in a timely fashion my details were incorrect for several week's even after serval phone call and emails as well. Still not sure where that came from as details were given correctly. My mother care plan wasn't put into place till a couple of weeks even carers didn't have access to it for a while.

Have had Cera for a year now after having a stroke. My mobility is not good but the care I get has been wonderful. There was only one exception and that was dealt with promptly. Cannot praise these people enough for doing a hard job for very poor pay. My quality of life would be a constant struggle without them.
