Great care company and carers, sad to have had to move on after over almost 2years with this great team in Derbyshire Glossop. Wouldn’t be leaving now if they could offer up the double crew care my dad now needs. Very sad and distressing move for him especially at the grand age of 97. He will miss you all.

Only giving 3 stars as since cera have taken over no set time like there use to be before the take over for my mum personal care, different times, when used to be a set time, things where more reliable before cera took over allied healthcare.

Cera care are a terrible company and clearly 2 days physical training is not enough to do a job correctly. As a downstairs neighbour of someone who receives care 4 times a day from them they make far too much noise as early as 7.30am up to 10pm and do not take into consideration the kind of living accommodation they are working in. They shout at the person, they slam doors (the heavy fire door to the home and internal doors) they drop, slam, scrape things across the floor, (my ceiling) they do the same against walls, cupboards and drawers around the home. They surely can tell that the persons mechanical bed is also broke as everytime they move it, it clunk's repeatedly as if it is struggling to work. All these noises travel through the ceilings and walls and make my home shake like an earthquake. Items in my home move they make my home shake so violently. To add to this when the carers arrive at the building they blast music out of their downed windows at max volume then proceed to park illegally on pavements, double yellow lines or in areas marked for emergency vehicles even though there are several car parks around with plenty of spaces. They also like to sit in their cars and shout to each other for 10 minutes before coming into the building all while still blasting music for all to hear. If not doing that they are standing at the entrance to the building smoking cigarettes or vapes. A public entrance, a designated no smoking area where they allow anyone coming in or out the building to have to walk through their smoke. Not exactly caring or professional qualities. They are heard entering and leaving the building using the elevators and stairwells as they shout loudly to each other even indoors and not in the persons home. I've also seen the carers point at me and make rude gestures towards me when I've been stood at my window. They are so unprofessional. Office/managerial staff aren't any better as I've called about the noise on 2 occasions both times told I couldn't speak to a manager but a message would be left to call me back. Neither time has a manager returned my call but I'm fairly sure my complaint got back to the carers as the noise increased in the days following both my calls. At this point I'm considering a complaint to the care inspectorate as my next step. This has went on for over a year. My life and schedule is dictated by carers coming and going. I cannot tolerate being home when the carers are in working due to the noise. They wake me up every morning and they are still banging late at night. No peace in my own home. I shouldn't have to deal with this. Measures should have beeen put in place by now to mitigate this noise.

Usually very good care given. Carers get to know the clients well and usually communicate well with the family. A few negatives - if I send a message I don't usually get an answer; no report filled out this morning and phone left upstairs so couldn't get hold of my mum; hot plate left on on Saturday. But usually better.

My elderly Mum presents with very challenging behaviours due to dementia and Cera carers manage her in a very calm and professional manner at all times. They can be relied on and often go above and beyond what is expected of them to ensure Mum's welfare. This gives the family peace of mind and I don't know how we would manage without them. The app allows us to check what is happening at each call and alerts us to any problems. Communication from the carers and the office is always very good. Fantastic team.

The service is to help my brother after his mobility suffered quite signifcantly. The cheery people who help him on a day to day basis gives him something to look forward to. They even put up with his singing. He enjoys meeting different people too and they take time to make sure his wellbeing is looked after. Greatly appreicated - keep it up Please.

The carer who came to me today, was a stand in for my regular weekday carer, she hasn't been to me before, but she was helpful and did everything I needed doing. She was pleasant and friendly.

Much improved lately since they seem to have stopped using agency staff. Mum is well looked after by all her regular carers. Times a bit hit and miss but appreciate staff busy workload. The app is a godsend. I can remind mum who is coming and roughly what time, which saves her worrying. Also good to see the visit report and I am made aware of any issues or problems. If carers leave a message for family on the app it would be good to be able to reply. Office staff understanding as I often need to cancel some care visits. However on occasions I've had to phone again to remind them as the visits hadn't been cancelled on the system until many days later. All things considered, very happy with the service Cera provide.

My 92 year old mum is cared for by wonderful carers from Cera care. They can be relied on and this gives the family peace of mind. The app allows me to check how mum is morning and evening and alerts me to any problems. More often than not the carers go over and above what is expected of them to ensure mums welfare and I don’t know how I would manage without them. All in all a fabulous team.

Takes a week to reply to 69% of negative reviews. Reflects my experience. Very poor customer care an response. Too concerned with woke statements rather than prompt " patient" care and improvement.

All carers that visit mum are very friendly and talk to mum and help her sometimes visits are a bit irregular with time but mum doesn't seem to mind Thankyou for your help

Most of the carers go above and beyond with the care that they give.

The Cera care staff that I have dealt with have all been genuine caring individuals. Who do a very hard job in difficult circumstances. They work under consistent pressure but always provide top class care.

Some of my mums carers are really good and go above and beyond however lots of issues with some carers cutting times short and not as person centred as it shd be. The app is great for knowing what's happening however it wd be more helpful if you could respond back to messages left by staff. Sometimes communication is lacking with new staff not aware of clients conditions and behaviours despite family having provided lots of additional info

Cera Care -Lichfield/Tamworth first things first i want to say how absolutely amazing this company is to work for and couldn't thank the office staff Kelly Othman (branch Manager) and the rest of the Lichfield/Tamworth office staff, most welcoming and most friendly care company i've ever worked for. so understanding and give out praise where its due. structure of the run and the time given to give the best you can. Kelly is always just a call away to support you for whatever it maybe, work related or home life, i would 100% recommend this company to anyone. absolutely AMAZING!!!

Local management are a disgrace to the company, (Dunoon, Scotland) Head office should perhaps do more internal audits. Perhaps visit and go out about speak to those being cared for.

1 of THE WORST Care company's I've ever worked for! Payrol is an absolute disgrace. Wages are never right, holidays are not calculated properly. There's no way of contacting payrol as a member of staff which I find outrageous.
