The item is a lot smaller than I thought. I was concerned about it when I ordered it. Also the shipping is a hassle I have to drive 40 miles to my nearest fedex office to pick it up. It comes in a lot of packaging for a little thing. It is pretty and does look like the website but the website should have put it on a mannequin to show the size.

I received my ring today and it exceeded my expectations. Just under 2 carats oval diamond I can't stop looking at it. I am so pleased with the ring that I ordered a diamond band to go with it. Emily guided me to the perfect diamond and I would not hesitate to order from Brian Gavin again.

I picked a sylvie designer ring and a gavins select diamond. I was hesitant making such an important (and expensive) purchase without seeing finished product. I had an allround perfect experience while ordering my engagement ring with them. I discovered Brian Gavin through beyondthe4Cs.com as excellent diamond cutters. After I contacted them by email, I always received fast, personal and friendly responses. It took me a while to make up my mind and finally order the diamond plus ring after more than a month, yet they were never pushy. After I put my order, I received a confirmation email and also another personal note. It took ~ 3 weeks until setting was done. The package was shipped by Fedex and arrived within 2 days (!) from TX to Switzerland. It would have been nice to receive an estimate for the delivery date after I placed my order as I didn’t hear back from them until they finished the setting. But that is really the only thing I could criticize. The ring arrived in a beautiful package, including a magnifying glass, AGS lab report and a wonderful personal short letter from the company. The diamond is absolutely perfect and sparkles wonderfully, even in lower light settings. I can fully recommend Brian Gavin, they are just a wonderful company to do business with, even from abroad. The service from Brian Gavin Diamonds is just impeccable! Everytime you need anything by phone, they handle it very professionally and explain very very thoroughly everything you inquire. As for The Hearts and Arrows Diamonds - the main difference with BGD and the rest, well there just stunning! The cut is so special and very noticeably more light return(fire) than Costco ring on same finger/same light. And the crazy part is how much "Larger" the same weight diamond appears with just the perfect cut making the diamond appear "much" larger! Hope you get a chance to try Brian Gavin Diamonds - You'll Love em!!

As for the ring, it definitely lives up to the brilliant fame of Brian Gavin. It's really exactly what we were looking for. We ultimately had to get it re-sized, but the experience was super streamlined. Highly recommended!

Awesome experience!! Ordered my custom ring in November hoping to get it by Christmas. Spoke with a rep from BG and she said they will try their best. They delivered by the 22nd!!! Then on top of it all, I happened to be traveling the week I was supposed to get it delivered and they were so accommodating! Amazing customer service. I am a customer for life.
