Ordered a ladder through BPS Access Solutions website which promised delivery within 2 working days. 3 working days and a few emails later am told that "someone should have told you that ladder is out of stock for the rest of the month(over 3 weeks)"! Have taken refund and placed order with another company.

Hi. I need a combination ladder to allow me access to old flakey sofits and facings at approx 3.5mtrs. There’s a lot of it so I need something strong and stable. The ladder arrived as advised and delivery driver was spot on waiting patiently until I checked for damage. There was none. I bought the nine rung adjustable step ladder and am currently using it in standard ladder mode but mainly in the extended A frame format which is ideal for the task at hand, prepping the miles of sofits ready for painting. The ladder is adaptable, lightweight, manoeuvrable and easy to use. Also, once stabilised it’s a strong stable work platform. Overall, a painless transaction and would use BPS again without hesitation.

Great ladder kit. I’m a big guy and 72 but I’m confident this ladder and accessories will take my weight easily and safely. It’s not too heavy to lift and move; the safety rail and ladder ‘feet’ fitting instructions were not as clear as they could be, but I got it eventually. An excellent buy I can recommend highly and easily.

Ordered a ladder on a Friday for 'next day delivery' which I assumed would be the Monday. Ladder didn't arrive until the Tuesday and after unpacking I realised there were many missing parts. Called BPS immediately and was told the missing parts would arrive Thursday. Waited until Friday - nothing, so called them again. Was told parts were on their way and offered a £50 refund for my trouble which I accepted. By the Tuesday (now a week since the ladder arrived) there was still no sign of the missing items, nor the promised £50 refund. I now needed to get the work done I'd ordered the ladder for, so had to pay a contractor to do it. So then I contacted BPS again, asked them to collect the ladder and give me a refund. Ladder was collected next day (much faster then their delivery) but it has taken me a week and three more calls to get the refund. After reading and listening to all their hype about great customer service I received nothing of the sort, really poor in my opinion. Today I need to order another ladder for another job - I've already picked a different supplier, don't want to go through all that again. Edited to add update: BPS have done their best to try and make me a happy customer and have been very helpful. I've change my original 1 start review to a 3 as I feel they've at least listened to my complaint and have tried to rectify the problems. I had another ladder delivered from them on Friday, happy with that one.
