Both pieces of furniture that I got delivered had damage. One was damaged because a screw was not installed at the factory securing a door that banged around during transit. The other happened during delivery where the top of a leather sofa got scratched.
I recently purchased two recliners. Diana was very helpful and when we returned for a second time she remembered which two chairs I was looking at. The chairs came in on time and delivery was as scheduled. It was a very pleasant experience and I will use Bernie & Phyl’s for my next furniture purchase
I received my delivery today and I just want to say those 2 men who delivered the furniture don't ever let them go, very very PROFESSIONAL. They went out of the way to make sure all went well. Thanks to all involved.
The quality of the furniture is impeccable. The prices were affordable. The salesman was helpful. It was a nice experience. I would go back next time I need furniture.

I found out on Monday I needed rotator cuff surgery, Monday night we picked out a recliner with a delivery date of Saturday (surgery was Tuesday). Thursday I received a call that delivery would be on Tuesday because the manufacturer did not send it on the Saturday truck. I explained my surgery was Tuesday morning they said I would be on the first delivery. Delivery was at 1:30 not a new chair but the floor model they forgot the power pack and had to return with that. I received my new chair on Friday. I do appreciate the fact they let me use the floor model (hence the 4 stars) but my daughter missed out on work more than the 1/2 day she planned while waiting for the “early delivery”. Plus the added stress of if I would have a chair post surgery was not needed nor appreciated.

The two gentleman that did the delivery were excellent and personable. They showed me all the ins and outs of how the bed worked. Grateful for these two nice gentleman.
I spent almost $10k in furniture and was told (and printed on my receipt) that delivery would be 2-3 wks and that two chairs I ordered would be drop shipped directly to my home. Then they called me a few days later to tell me two of the pieces I bought could not be ordered and I would have to pick diff ones, which I did, of course more expensive by $200 which they would not discount for me! Only Half my order arrived in 2-3 wks. The other half is still pending with dates out to the 3rd wk of July and to top that off I received a call that they can’t drop ship my one order as promised and will be adding to shipment because that’s better “for me!” No it’s cheaper for you! To top that off he ordered and charged us for bed slots that we didn’t need because we have an adjustable bed and told him that! And they will not take back and give us our $140 back! So upset! We are active duty military family and will NOT shop there again and ensure that all of our military friends know to go to jordyns or Ashley’s because we truly feel like BAP just wants our money and does not care what happens after that!!!

Bar Stools I purchased 6 bar stools 4 all wood and 2 with upholstered seats. The Salesmen was very helpful and explained the difference in the height of the stools and finish. He also recommended that we seat on each to make sure they were comfortable.
Very excited for our new bed! Rich was very helpful and knowledgeable about the different options. I have myofascial pain in my back, and he helped us to choose a zero gravity adjustable Tempurpedic Ergo base and Sealy Posturpedic hybrid option that should help to relieve pressure points. I can't wait to have a super comfortable (and therapeutic) option at home!
I bought a sofa and chair and special ordered a swivel glider in the same color fabric. I also ordered a coffee table and end table. When I got home with the couch and sofa it was nothing like the color that was shown in the store. I returned them and wanted to exchange them for another color and my special ordered swivel glider wasn't due to come in for at least another 3 weeks. There was no problem changing the sofa and chair and when I asked if I could just change the color of the special ordered swivel glider they said they couldn't cancel it and charged me 20% for the nonrefundable deposit. I had no problem paying that if I was completely canceling my order but I was just changing the color. Needless to say I canceled the sofa, chair and special ordered swivel glider and took my business elsewhere. The girl I talked to at the Customer Service desk is basically the reason why I canceled. She had such an attitude and didn't want to listen to anything I wanted to say. I decided to keep the coffee table and end table and when I opened the box for the coffee table it was damaged and I returned it to exchange it for a new one and I am still waiting for the replacement. I sent an email to the Corporate Customer Service telling them about this and never heard back from them which makes the experience more unsettling. It's too bad because I have been a customer with them for almost 20 years. Most of my home is furnished with their items.
