We have bought and our family many things from Bernie and Phyl's. So I've asked myself, seeing you've asked me, why. One of the biggest reasons is they sell for the most part the type of furniture we like, a little old fashion with a twist of current day trends. The sales people are always professional, courteous and very helpful. The prices are not outrageous as some of the other furniture stores, nor are they inexpensive like some of the furniture stores that peddle cheap stuff. I'd say their in the middle and we've always had good results when shopping at Bernie and Phyl's. We've only bought furniture at he Westborough store, however we did visit the Natick, I think Natick, store and after speaking with the sales person, we left and said why are we here and not in Westborough. From the Natick store we did go to Westborough and made a purchase a while ago. The only thing we do not particularly care for is the television advertisements that includes clips from yesteryear with an over-voice. As a matter of fact I mute it when then appear.
Long wait times for sales assistance. Very long delivery delays. Shouldn't take 30 minutes to get assistance in your stores, nor should it take up to 6 weeks to get new furniture. You are a FURNITURE store!
Great delivery, No issues
Scott Gobin was our sales person and was very helpful and accommodating, without being a stereotypical “pushy salesman,” which no one likes. A good experience all around. We will be back, and will ask to deal directly with Scott, the next time we’re in need of furniture.

Delivery was on time and I got multiple confirmations about the time period in advance; went very smoothly. The delivery guys were friendly and efficient and didn't damage anything. The furniture is beautiful and fits great in our bedroom. I recommend this company to anyone!
Great customer service
Back on April 28th I special ordered a chair because I was having arm surgery on June 4th. Somebody at Bernie and Phyl's keyed in the wrong model number and I didn't find this out until I called on May 18th to find out the status of my chair and was told it would be an additional 3 weeks. Only after I got in touch with a manufacturer and did all the leg work did I finally found a resolution. However it is still taken Bernie and Phyl's 3 weeks to get a chair here from their warehouse and I still do not have the remote to run the chair and to top it off the chair delivered is defective. The manager I've spoken with several times is not living up to what he says he will do as far as getting back to me I have to keep calling him . So today I sit in my defective chair unable to use my right arm to do the controls and still do not have the module ordered to run my chair. I think they're definition of customer service is wrong it seems like the definition is customers serve themselves not employees serving the customer. Highly disappointed
Salesman was very knowledgeable and let us shop at our own pace but was near by to answer our questions. Most of our furniture was bought from Bernie and Phil’s and found it to be of great quality with great prices. The interest free program is fantastic.
I only shop at Bernie & Phyl’s for all my furniture needs. Excellent to deal with.
Everything is still on back order and I bought everything up front. Still another month before it arrives.
Second "big" purchase within the year. We love the sales people and will continue to go back for more furniture when needed.
