Austin’s Funeral Service have made me feel that they cared about me and the funeral for my husband from speaking to Gary at the start, support from June and Caroline, receiving a card from Claire Austin and the team on the day of the funeral have made the whole process bearable while i was going through a difficult time and I have felt their compassion throughout.
Austin’s handled all the funeral arrangements with kindness and efficiency. We had several specific requirements and Austin’s staff carried out our wishes with no fuss. All the timings were perfect and all the staff we were involved with were sympathetic and well organised. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.
From the moment I first contact Austins they where great, taking me through everything, nothing was too much trouble, even when ordering extra order of services to arranging the streaming of the service. My Husband has already said what he wanted and they were able to accommodate all his wishes. Nothing was any trouble to them and I could if I wished phone them 24/7. Michael the funeral director call me the day before to go over the procedure and confirm all the timings. They all helped me through an extremely difficult time with professionalism and dignity.

Jackie, in the Hitchin office was fantastic throughout. She remembered us from dad’s funeral 7 years before and was so helpful. All of the arrangements went smoothly and communication was excellent. We even received a call from Michael the night before to check all was well. What could have been very stressful was in fact stress free.
Everybody that has been involved in the service for my dad has been exceptional,from the guys who came to pick dad up on the day he passed to Lisa in the buntingford branch,keeping in constant contact and doing anything that we asked for really. Then to neil who brought dad back home and took us to the church to say our goodbyes. I cannot recommend Austin’s enough,when somebody passes away,it’s hard to know how to speak and what to say,it came across as this isn’t just a job for these guys it’s respect for the person who has past away and also the family.
