Ordered a TV that was in stock 25/june 2013. £793.74.WAE+ took my money the same day.Got an email saying delivery would be 28 june-2 july. Did not arrive,so i cancelled the order on 4 july. They said no problem, i would have my refund shortly.I have since rung their customer service people several times and keep being told my money is being refunded soon.I have told WAE+ that i am now going to seek legal advice.

Placed an order in early June for a scooter for a childs birthday present. Did not arrive so bought one from Argos. After 6-8 phone calls I have still not received a refund and just get passed around and told the refund will appear within 28 days which has long gone and am still waiting.

I ordered an "in stock" item 3 weeks ago. When I chased it up no explanation was given - just a statement saying a further 7-10 day delay. I've still not received the item. I certainly won't visit their website again. Now over the additional 10 days and I've given up hope of any response let alone delivery.

Avoid if you want your refund in a timely manor. Samsung 840 ssd ordered but then cancelled on the 2nd of July. It is now the 8th of August and I have yet to be refunded despite repeated promises by customer services. This is now being dealt with by my bank. Avoid.

My experience with WAE is the worst I have ever had with any retailer. I managed to get some money together to build a new gaming PC and did some shopping around, some of the items were cheaper on the WAE website so I placed an order and paid for express delivery so as their website states: “We fulfill most orders within 2-3 working days unless specialist or bulk quantities are required.” My order was not bulk or specialist so I expected at least next day delivery but no, one and a half weeks I was supposed to wait and never got an apology or a refund for my “express delivery” charge. I needed the items quicker so I canceled the order straight away and ordered from a reputable company called scan.co.uk who saved the day and sent everything next day delivery. However as I hadn’t received an immediate refund from WAE I was now nearly £500 over budget. WAE couldn’t help out whatsoever and just kept stating that I would be refunded as per their Terms and Conditions so they had me over a barrel. Their Terms and Condition clearly say refunds will be paid within 30 days which also ties in with the distance selling regulations. I must have misunderstood the word within because 30 days later still no refund even though I had phoned several times on the week leading up to the 30th day. Every time I phoned there was never a manager available to explain anything to me and the customer services operators Daniel & Lewis only tried to get me to email management which I did with no reply. I also had a couple of emails stating the money would arrive in my bank by a certain day (normally a Friday) which is a pain because they are not open at the weekend. So either Daniel and Lewis are completely in on the lies and deceit or they are being lied to by their own management? It wasn’t until the 37th day after informing WAE of my intention to involve the small claims court, my bank or popping in to collect my money that I got some action and eventually got to speak to a so called manager called Deborah Heer whose contact details are as follows; Email: [email protected] Direct Phone: 0121 667 6755 She is the Customer Service Supervisor who again promised me full payment within 3-5 working days. All I could do was set the wheels in motion with the court and my bank and wait 3-5 working days but thankfully 41 days later I received full payment. So my advice is; a. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM b. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM c. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM I know there are plenty of bad reviews about WAE and the good ones are dodgy but I’d like to think that this would prevent someone from getting ripped off by these cowboys.

Looked into buying a Western Digital 3tb External Hard Drive. Price looked good, delivery time seemed long but okay. So I ordered and paid immediately. Order ID is (210587). Wait time for delivery was 10-12 days standard. Time came and went so I telephoned, waiting over 7 minutes to speak to someone who at best could be described as someone who didn't care about my problem, to find out where my order was to be told that some site in Europe could not deliver. I was informed delivery could take another 2 weeks with no guarantee then of delivery. So after waiting 2 weeks to be told I need to wait another 2 weeks without guarantee of delivery was a complete farce, so I said "CANCEL AND REFUND." Cancelled the order to be told that my refund would take up to 30 days. So they don't provide the product and keep my money for up to 30 days, multiply that by their customer base and they're on a nice earner for interest they are not entitled to. The company by the numbers of negatives reviews here are quids in and I cannot fathom why they are still in business. RECOMMEND THEM "NO!!!" TRUST THEM "NO!!!" USE THEM AGAIN " NOT ON YOUR LIFE." I have contacted my bank, as all others should do who cannot get their money refunded, to reclaim funds through the disputed transaction request. My bank have stated I shall be refunded within 24 hours. DO NOT TRUST WAE+ please read all reviews before you even consider giving them your money because after all it is your money. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY AS YOU MAY NOT GET GOODS OR YOUR MONEY BACK.

I ordered a tv on 27th July 2013 which was in stock, when the check out was completed I was given a delivery date of between 1st and 5th of August. I had a confirmation email from WAE+ stating this. After checking the website for my order, it said 'awaiting fulfillment ' which basically meant it was awaiting delivery. No TV arrived, and when I phoned to query where my TV was, I was told the TV was out of stock and wasnt going to be delivered. I was then told the earliest it would be delivered would be the following Friday, however, they did not have the TV in stock!! My children had no TV to watch while they were on holiday with me!! At no point was I informed that there was a problem via email or phone. I was conned into thinking the TV was in stock and on its way to me, but in reality WAE+ never had this TV to sell!! CON ARTISTS!! I will never use this company again and have warned my friends and family to AVOID at all costs!! I advise everyone else to AVOID this company as well..... maybe go and use the 1st fastest growing internet based electrical retailer instead of this bunch of muppets!! To sum up, I wouldnt use this company if it was the last one going, I would rather cut my appendage off with a rusty razor blade than give this bunch of charlatans my hard earnt money for an item they probably havent got to sell!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

I ordered a camera and a SD card on 21st May 2013, they never arrived after 2 postpones and promises from the customer service. So I placed the cancellation on 24th June asking for my money back. It states in their website that it takes up to 30 days for the refund. So I waited for that 30 days to be over to post my review here because nothing happened - I haven't got my refund back. When I called the customer service about 10 days ago asking what was happening with my money, they said they would pass my enquiry to the manager. And I haven't got any response from that company as well as the manager. I never had a chance to know the product from them but still, it's a very bad experience!

Great Prices, website good but could do with better descriptions. What lets the side down is the uninformed wait, my order has been stuck on unfulfilled since I placed it and it is due tomorrow, when I wrote to complain I was told it was in transit from their European hub, well tell me that on the website, all I can assume is that you don't have stock if you do not keep me informed. Communication is the key!

If, like me, you won't commit to purchasing until you've found the best price, yet also want an efficient, fast and fuss free service, then forget about WAE+. I was waiting for over a week for a camera item, before I realised that the item's delivery had been cancelled. The payment remains not refunded, and the matter unresolved. Please avoid WAE+.

I run my own small business and since the summer arrived it's been Purdeys all the way in this heat. Much much cheaper here on WAE+ than anywhere else, the free delivery (if you don't mind waiting a bit) is great as I bulk buy. I have these delivered at home, which is convenient and the only downside is how some of the bottles mysteriously sprout legs and walk out the fridge...!! I haven't bought other stuff yet, so I'm just giving 4* as my rating, but looking around the site there are some better prices than so-called supermarket deals that are just ploys to get you in the store. WAE+ communications are good so far and the web site is pretty easy to use.

Ordered an Item on the 29th June. Item was advertised as In Stock. Never arrived after a week of waiting. I inquired and got told there was going to be a 7 day wait. I cancelled the order and bought it Extak.com (who were incredible, prompt delivery and only 6 quid more than these jokers) After waiting since the 5th of July, I have not had my 230 quid refund. Please, Never, ever, ever use this merchant. Like so many reviews i have read, I am now having to open a claim with Halifax/mastercard to get my money back.

I ordered an SSD from WAE+ which had a two week delivery time. I was surprised but since it was a bit cheaper than every other online store and I wasn't in a rush I thought it was acceptable. The delivery date came and went, being a patient man I didn't worry too much but once it was 2 weeks late I sent a message to them asking what was going on with my order. They replied that they were out of stock and awaiting more coming in. I did wonder why they couldn't have sent me a courtesy email telling me the situation. When the delivery was a whole month late I decided enough was enough. I went to the website and cancelled my order via the webform and requested a refund by the other webform. I then received an email telling me I couldn't cancel my order because the hard drive was in their warehouse waiting to be dispatched?! I'm no legal expert but I'm pretty sure I was well within my rights to cancel the order since it hadn't even been dispatched! My plan was to wait a few days then ring up my credit card company and report WAE+ for failing to provide the promised service and let the credit card company sort them out, but my order arrived the next day. I have generously given them 2 stars because I don't think there was malicious intent, I just think they are utterly incompetent. Spend a few quid extra and go somewhere else.
