I object to companies that take orders for items and then don't deliver. Even when chasing they say the item is on time for delivery. Call them and they say sorry it will be another two weeks, this is after waiting 11 days. At least on eBay people sell what they have! I will avoid this company in the future.
When delivery arrived it was missing items. Had to chase customer services to find out that the product was no longer available. Asked if there was an alternative, told them no and requested a refund. Still awaiting refund and it's been about 5 Weeks. Keep chasing them and get responses about refund policy taking upto 3 weeks!! We've been waiting for 5. Avoid this Supplier.
I placed an order on the 5th of June for a Vivitek Qumi 2 Lite pocket projector and they took my money on the 6th of June, a total of £294.77. It was supposed to arrive within 3 to 5 working days. After a week and no sign of it I called WAE+, they advised there has been a little delay and the product would arrive within a few days. After another week and nothing, I called again and they again said it will be with me in a few days. On the 20th June, I called again and they said, just a few more days. I therefore cancelled the order and they promised to refund my money. Since the 20th of June, I have called and emailed WAE+ many times to find out the status of my refund. Each time they said the refund is in process and will receive it immediately. It has been 49 days since I cancelled my order and I still have received no refund. Do NOT use this company!

Took my money, didn't have the item in stock or any intention of having it. Didn't reply to any e-mails, wouldn't refund - I had to set up a dispute with my credit card to get my £1300 back. Just read other reviews, mine is couched in tame language, I have calmed down a bit. Very angry that they can be allowed to get away with it. I see hteir rating is slowly slipping - only a matter of time.
My husband purchased a Samsung Smart TV as a present for me on 23 May 2013. We did not want to pay the £40 delivery charge, so we would have to wait 2-3 weeks. They sent an email stating our TV would be delivered between 11 to 13 June but gave us no specific date or delivery time. I phoned them the day before the 11th and they still could not give me any info. The 14th arrived and still no TV, so I phoned them with them telling me that there was no stock because there was a delay! No one had the decency to phone or email me. They said it would take another two weeks for the TV to arrive, so at this point cancelled my order and requested a full refund of £502.00, Its now the end of July and my legal team is stepping in as Ive not got my money back as yet.. When you phone it's pot luck if you get the English or Indian call center and there is no manger to speak with or resolve any thing. They only give you an email address to write to. So please take my advice and buy from some one else. Have Just spoken to Birmingham Trading Standards, WAE Plus are based here. They would like to here from any one who has had a bad experience using this company. In addition those that have not received their monies back after 30 days which is part of the Consumer T&C. They have recommended that you get your credit card to start proceedings against this company. Please call Birmingham Trading Standards on 08454040506 the more reports they receive they can then take action but if people only write reviews and do not let them know then this will carry on. Update have received email from WAE plus saying a refund will be made (but no date given) but to call of credit card company...yeah fat chance of that!! UPDATE: Sept 2013 Well I never received the promised refund that they said was done but on the bright side thank God for visa as I had my monies refunded via card recharge.. Glad to see there gone..... In addition to this I have been in close contact with a member of the trading standards team and I can confirm that criminal action will be taken out against the Directors of WAE+. I am so ready to write that statement for them and go to court if required!!!
When I ordered the item I was not informed at the checkout that the item was not in stock or I would not have ordered. My order status remained at "Awaiting Fulfillment". I questioned the status of my order a few times through the customer service and each time I did so I was informed that my order would be dispatched imminently. After a month of waiting after again being told my order would be dispatched soon I decided to cancel the order and go elsewhere for the item I required. Upon cancelling I was told that I would be refunded "soon"!! I questioned when exactly I would be refunded and was told "within 30 days" and was directed to the terms and conditions. I think I already know that I will be waiting the full 30 days before I receive my money back. I will not be using the site ever again and warn others against using it. It has just been a pain in the arse. Yes the prices are good but it is questionable that WAE have any intention of ever delivering anything. Since ordering with them I have read several reviews of WAE and many people have had to ask for a refund, because their order was never delivered, and have had to wait some time for the refund. STEER CLEAR
I ordered a Pico USB drive on 31 May, with delivery due by 13 June at latest. Item was shown as In stock on their web site, and payment was taken immediately. My order moved to "Awaiting fulfilment", and has never changed from that status. The web site has continued to show the item as being in stock throughout, I have queried the delivery many times, and six times been given a delivery date of a few working days. On 23 July I asked (via their web communication) for a guaranteed delivery date or for my order to be cancelled and refunded, but had no response, so I phoned again today. I was not allowed to speak to any one in management, but was told that the item is in stock in their European warehouse and had been despatched originally to UK but must have got lost. Six times?? Told them I didn't believe they held it as a stock item, it should not be shown as "in stock" on their web site, and that they should not have taken my money knowing they could not guarantee delivery as promised. Customer advisor said current delivery date was 7-9 working days, but seemed very keen to cancel my order, which I think says all. BEWARE!!
I ordered a photo scanner on Monday July 1st expecting delivery in 3-5 days as advised on the website and the payment of £170.75 was duly taken from my account on the same day. On Friday 5th July I checked the status of my order - 'Awaiting Fulfilment'. I phoned to check and was told this order would be given priority. On Monday 8th July the status was still 'Awaiting Fulfilment' so I phoned again. I was told that they should be able to get me a scanner by the end of the week. This delivery wasn't guaranteed and I needed the scanner to complete a job for a client. I opted to cancel the order so that I could get a scanner on time from an alternative source. An email was sent by WAE the same day confirming cancellation of the order and that they were happy to give a full refund which would be 'resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible'. After waiting 10 days I emailed customer service to ask when I might expect the refund only to be advised that the refund would be processed 'within 30 days from the date of cancellation'. From past experience I had always been informed by the trader if goods were not available. Not so with this trader. I had to ask them. Can it be ethical that an Internet trading company can take a customer's money for goods when they aren't able to deliver within reasonable time and then, to add insult to injury ('resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible') take up to a further 30 days to issue a refund (for a considerable amount of money) for goods that hadn't ever been sent?
I ordered a camera from a site that said it was in stock as I wanted it quickly. 3 weeks later and it has not come. No message from wae until I called them and they noted it had not been sent. Duh I know that. still no sign. Too bloody late now
I ordered a graphic card on 16 Jun,with free delivery 8-10 days,delivery due was 01 -03 Jul. After 03 Jul.i asked where is it my card,the answer was not dispatched, yet. After this date,I cancelled my order,and asked back my many.Until present no answer,no many sent back,nothing! They try to keep my money? They do not know what is that,customer services and correct trading.
It's been 3 weeks and I have still got to wait 10 more days I get my order if it comes then and was in stock when ordered !
• Placed order on the 19th of april • Delivery was set between 2nd-7th May • Emailed on the 6th of May to confirm order,recieved no reply. • Called on 7th May was told that the item was faulty so they had to order another one and they wouldnt receive it until later in the week but they would ship it to me by the weekend and I would recieve it by 13th-14th May • Called on the 8th of may for an update-was told they had orderdered it from thier european supplier and they would receive it by the end of this week-they stated they would dispatch it to me by courier when they got it and they would send me a confirmation email with tracking details... • Called on the 10th of May at 10AM was told that he he would send me an email after he had contacted his supplier within the next hour or so. Didnot recieve email. • Called back in the afternoon of 10th May and was told that due to a "technical glitch" that I would recieve item by Wednesday 15th May and my case had been elevated, Iasked if I could have written confirmation of this via email, they refused to do this even though the man I spoke to earlier that morning had offered to do so. • Phoned again on the 14th of May as item stll marked as “allocated” on my account, was told that he would have to send an email to dispatch and I should recieve it in the next couple of days, I told him to cancel the order and that I would recieve the money back into the bank within the next 5-7 working days. • Phoned on the 23rd of May as the refund had still not been paid back into my account, was told that they would contact accounts and It should be back into the account by 2pm the following day, and to call back if it had not. • Phoned again on the 24th May as still had not recieved the refund and asked to speak to a manager, was told that there were “no managers” in the call centre, asked for managers email address. • Phoned again on the 11th of June as still had not recieved a refund..was told it would be deposited within the next 2 days as this was the 30th day after cancelation. • Finally recieved refund 2 days later
The good: Ok lets start by putting some statements to rest WAE+ is not a fraudulent site i'm now on my 5th order i have successfully cancelled one of them and got the refund with no issue, i have also got all my other orders with no issue. They are also dam cheap The bad: Ok here goes the quote "in stock" its a lie...don't ever exspect it in stock the order upon request for most of their stock. Delivery dates with in 5-10 days...sorry its not likley to happen you are likley to be waiting 4 to 6 weeks before they are even able to post the product to you. You will then think well they will send it on a 24hr courior, nope you will be wrong once again they will also take there time after dispatched. Don't worry though wait...wait...wait and wait some more and your item will turn up. Now you would expect a nice email from WAE saying dear customer we are very sorry stock is on its way expect it by this date ect...Do you get a email like that?...sorry no you don't. In fact if you wont any update on your purchase your going to need to keep on top of them and then maybe they will decide to change the status from awaiting fulfillment to something else like stock issues or running late. Now we get to emailing them, ok somtimes you will get a reply sometimes you won't be do give them 48hrs to reply before sending anther. Also they seem to have huge staffing issues (Maybe as the staff walk out on them for being fed up of complaining customers and WAE doing nothing about it) One excuse i got from them was most of our staff have gone on holiday this week... :-/ ok WAE go home your clearly drunk.... By the way this is not one order from WAE+ its every single order i have had with them had the same issue, these issues are not isolated incidences.They are as common and as bad as dog muck on a walking path...in fact sorry WAE issues are more comment then that. To some up its highly likely to get your item however after a long long wait and poor communication and service from WAE+. Its 2 stars from me as they have received items and got a successful refund and they do respond to some communication but that's the only good thing i can say about them the rest of the experience is shocking and poor. Order from WAE+ if you wont the cheapest price....don't expect to be treated as a customer though you will have to wait it out and keep in contact with them to make sure they update you as they wont do it unless you ask. You have failed to supply an order no. 206202 placed since on the 25/6/13 at the advertised delivery time of maximum 5 days. And when the order was eventually cancelled after 14 days of non-supply, you have still up till today 24/07/13 failed to effect refund in full to the customer`s account. What kind of business are you doing? Is this a fraud or what? If no refund made on this order with daily interest based on bank lending rate from date of this order, within the next 48 hours, I will commence a procedure to seek redress for damages incurred - which will include lost of time, usage, several phone contacts, etc.
It took 15 days before i finally cancelled an item that was meant to come in 9, but when i tried to contact the help service all the people that I spoke to were very helpful I will be using WAE+ again but will be always choosing express delivery.
Ordered Item two months ago. Stll waiting for item! Never using WAE again!
The site is great however on checkout the process was very slow and it let me check out only then to find that the item was out of stock?! Had to put my order through 3 times and nearly gave up!
I ordered from this company on the 28th June 2013 expecting my order to arrive between 10-15 working days, after 3 week I called them to advise I have not received anything and they told me it was going to take another 10-15 days. I cancelled straight away and I am still waiting on my refund, I keep being fobbed off. Was given an email address to complain and was told I would get a response within 24-48 hours, over a week later I haven't heard anything at all from them. I have looked online at various review sites and there are thousands of customers complaining this company has ripped them off and not refunded their money. I will give them another day or two then I will do what lots of other customers have done and contact trading standards and my bank to pursue my refund that way. Shocking rip off merchants.
These people are scam artists, they do not send products and they do not provide refunds. I am considering reporting them to authorities and I will be going to my bank to claim a refund from these dodgy people. I've bought from China before with less problems than these jokers, do yourself a favour and avoid them like the plague. Also check out the positive reviews, they are all deffo fake reviews!
