Firstly - I wish I had read reviews before ordering. I ordered an ASUS AC router on the 30th May. 10 days to deliver - okay i accpeted that because it was cheap - 10 days later no delivery and order still awaiting fullfillment - like others I called customer service and was told 'problems with the europena warehouse' - router still advertised on waeplus as in stock - WTF. After reading all the negative reviews (which I wish I had read before a purchase) I cancelled my order on the 18th June. They state they will refund you in 30 days - well I got my refund on the 31st July - so I got it 43 says after cancellation - I got it but I had to wait - and also after the statutory 30 days the customer service team gave me the management email address and suggest I email them direct to get my refund processed- only then did things start to move. Don't be swayed by lower prices than Amazon etc - I wish i had paid the extra 20 quid - I would have had a router in days and no stress to get MY MONEY back. I will never ever use them again - my wife informs me we have had a successful delivery in the past for them - well after a few calls to customer service we did. Pay the extra for the extra service.
I Placed My First Order On The 18th, Had To Phone On 26th To Find Out No Stock. Placed 2nd Order On Line With Your Assistant On Line, Reordered A Replacement, Which Said In Stock Order Now ! Only To Be E Mailed On 31st To Be Told No Stock. 13 Days Wasted. 2nd Order Was 1p Difference But Still Had To Go Back On Line And Pay It. If I Had Not Phoned The Fist Time After 8 Days I Might Still Be Patiently Waiting For A Delivery I Was Not Going To Get. Why Say On Line In Stock Order Now When You Cannot Meet The Order ? Saying Sorry Just Does Not Cut It.
Returned a birthday present. Took 5 weeks to resolve. Got a store credit, but the account credited was the orignal purchaser. This after the returns folk converted the original purchase to myself and my email address. They arranged the item correctly, but not a trnsfer from the original purchase account to mynew one. Helpful contact person got us into the account and was able to complete. A dishonest person might have been able to hijack the giver's account? I shouldn't complain too much, though, as I was able to sort it out. Took a letter and 6?8? phone calls. I did receive an email form the returns manager acknowleding the return and suggesting a timescale, but if I had not chased I am sure it would have run and run.
I placed an order on 1 July with an expected 3-5 days delivery. One month later after wasting my time with rubbish replies I finally had to cancel the order as the items were still not in stock and looked as if they never would be. I just hope the money is returned as promptly as it was first taken. Good suppliers only take the money on despatch!! Well Guess what. It is now two months since they took my money and still no refund. I suggest you go elsewhere unless you are a lover of self inflicted pain.
If the answer to the above is yes then I would reccomend WAE+ The BT6500 phone I bought from them was the cheapest price I could find. Just allow a little longer for delivery.
Do not use this company unless you wish to spend hours contacting them and trying to get a refund if something goes wrong. I ordered a costly electronic item from WAE+ at the cost of £766 on 2nd June. I had read the reviews previously about slow delivery but it was a good price so thought I would live with that. After waiting 3 weeks I contacted WAE+ (twice) and was eventually told that they could no longer source this product from their supplier. They asked if I wanted an alternative which I replied I would just like a refund. I was then told I had to wait 30 days for a refund (despite this being nothing to do with me changing my mind and merely because they couldn't provide what they advertised). So I waited, and waited, 30 days is up and I contacted them again as no refund has appeared. I have since contacted them numerous times (its well over the 30 days) and each time just get told they are treating it as a priority. 2 Months after I placed the original order, WAE+ still have my money and I am starting to consider having to take legal action as I have no confidence they will ever provide the refund. Never been this disappointed with an online company. Would recommend avoiding as if anything goes wrong you likely wont be seeing your money back.

Ordered product, they never had it in stock. No contact to tell me this, just didn't despatch it. Requested refund, which was agreed, still waiting for a refund over 2 weeks later. Believe everything you read about WAE+ (just google them), absolutely awful.

"WAE Plus" does not deserve 1 Star! On 19/07/13 I purchased a £310 graphics card, that was shown as "in-stock" on the "WAE Plus" web-site. The money was immediately taken from my credit card. Order should have arrived on 06/07/13, at the latest. After numerous telephone calls and messages, over the next few weeks, I cancelled the order on 20/07/13. Even though nothing was ever sent I am told it will take up to 30 days before I receive a refund. As far as I am concerned I have given "WAE Plus" an interest free loan of £310 for 2 months, possibly longer. Their slogan states they are the 2nd largest growing on-line merchant; so If they do the same to 1000 customers that's £310,000! I have reported "WAE Plus" to Birmingham "Trading Standards Office" and my credit card company. I subsequently ordered the card from another site and it arrive the next day.
Ordered my Samsung Tablet and the money was taken straight away from my credit card and 6 weeks later still nothing had arrived. I cancelled my order and was then told I had to wait a month before I could have my money back. I am afraid you will never be a big player if you treat customers like that.
I had to cancel my order as it didnt arrive in the time I required. I asked for a refund asap which can be done on the same day. I received an arrogant reply stating check terms and conditions. They are refund within 30 days. They have made no effort to refund and we are now on the 20th day. I do not expect a refund before the 30th day One customer £172 One thousand customers a nice little 30 days of interest . They wil not get custom from me in the future they can keep prices low as their business appears to be making money with other peoples money,if not why no refund at the earliest opportunity ???
Nothing short of a joke. Item was said to be 'in stock'. So I purchased and awaited the 7-10 working days for delivery. After 40+ working days and 10 calls to the customer service department (which, as far as I can tell, consists of people with an IQ lower than 10), the order was cancelled. Bottom-line, if the site says 'Awaiting fulfilment' AFTER the initial delivery date, you will almost definitely not be receiving your products. It's all been said before - see reviews below. Following automated messages and dis-interested contact in some far away call centre re. my cancellation of goods (ORDER No. 211457) that were never likely to be delivered, I have, today, contacted CAB, Fraud Action - Police and my bank. Have cancelled my debit card and ordered a new one. Just would not trust these people with my bank details. Bank will follow up my claim against WAE, when my promised refund fails to show. I do not hold out any real hope of receiving it though. Suspect that with all of the complaints against this company they will have gone belly up and will be trading fraudulently again under another name. BUYER DEFINITELY BEWARE.
Order 2 item from them on 9th June. Payment taken same day. Promised delivery by 24th June which never arrived. Upon contacting them I was advised that order had been delayed by a few working days (Which they failed to bother informing me of). 1 week later still no sign, so contacted again by phone and was advised that an 'escalation' to a manager would be raised to chase order with supplier. A further week and still nothing and a follow up call confirmed they still had no stock to complete order. Order cancelled and I now have to wait 30 days for a refund (the maximum allowed by law) where as most reputable retailers seem to manage payment refunds within 3-5 working days unless based internationally which they are not. I would advise paying a few pound more and get from someone more reliable.
Whilst the prices are competitive there is a "price" to pay. After a long wait for delivery the items didn't arrive when they were scheduled to(warehouse delay) so consequently I cancelled the order and bought else where - ended up paying a few pounds more but the goods were delivered in 3 days. The refund has still not arrived. Have waited over 30 days and nothing. Customer services say its a technical issue....rubbish! Their business plan is to keep hold of your cash for as lo g as they can....scandalous bordering on fraud. Do not touch with a barge pole!
I ordered anvideo camera from WAE plus, admittedly it was because it was the cheapest. The delivery was 5-7 days. After 5 days and without the status of the order changing, I rang up to ask if it at least had been dispatched. After ringing on numerous attempts and waiting for 15 minutes I got through to someone. They said that they had to order it from their '"European" distribution centre. I cancelled there are then as I had read a lot of bad reviews since placing the order. I received an email saying that I would receive a refund within 30 days - their standard T&Cs! Well you guessed it, 37 days later, no refund. I have now contacted my credit card provider and they are going to raise a dispute against them. Luckily I always use a credit card online and never debit cards for this very reason. In short, I would say to anybody reading this review, do not buy anything from WAE plus as the negative reviews are posted for a reason.
This is the abridged version!! Placed and order for a NAS drive on 9th June. was told to expect delivery within 7 days, after 7 days nothing. My order status was "allocated ". I wasn't happy about the delay so rang to cancel. Apparently i couldn't because "allocated" means out for delivery so it was on its way. A week later still nothing and another request by me to cancel the order and another refusal by WAE+ to do so at it was out for delivery. By the 28th June and still with no NAS drive i rang WAE+ again and found someone with some sense. I explained what had happened and he canceled my order and sent me an e-mail to say that i would be getting a refund. It is now 30 days after the order cancellation and i still don't have a refund. I have now e-mailed them to explain that they are in breach of the distance selling regulations - next step is small claims court. Please, please, please do not deal with this bunch of clowns unless you can afford to have your patience stretched to the limit and be out of pocket for 2 months - anyone who holds you to ransom by saying that an order status of "allocated" means an item is out for delivery needs a serious system overhaul and doesn't understand how a supply chain works Once i had canceled my order i placed an order for the same item with another well know computer retailer based in Sheffield chose the cheapest postage option and had the item within 3 days. I'm going to sound like a like a line out of Scooby Doo here - but "take heed of my warning or suffer the consequences" Trust pilot have just asked me to confirm that i'm genuine when i inputted the order number as a pre-requisite for posting - someone is trying to get these reviews taken down Just had a refund from my bank - good old Visa.
WAE+ has a really huge variety and amount of items to choose from. You will therefore find various different options of whatever type of item that you are looking for. The prices are also absolutely excellent, almost always beating all other competitors by a significant amount. The check-out, contact, etc., options are also very easy to follow and use. Delivery was also free on all items that I looked at, which is a great bonus. The only slight downside is that delivery takes around 1.5 weeks for the items that I looked at.
On the 6th of June I ordered a VU Solo box and was told it would be delivered between 10-12 days. On day 12 I called the company and was told it would be up to another 9 days but could come anytime. After another week of this I decided I'd waited long enough and cancelled only to be told a refund would take 30 days. It's now been over a month and I'm still waiting on my money back. I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering! I've now received a reply telling me that i will receive my refund within 30 days of receiving my cancellation on the 1st of July. This is despite the fact I have an email from them dated 26th of June telling me they have received my cancellation request. Apparently receiving my cancellation on the 26th of July isn't good enough. The cancellation wasn't PROCESSED until the 1st July they are saying. This is a complete joke. I can go online and transfer money in an instant but this company don't deliver orders and then won't return your money. YOUR 30 DAYS ARE UP. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! Please don't use this company. It's not worth the hassle. Will keep you guys updated when I finally get my refund. 06/06 Ordered Box Due to be delivered between the 18/20 26/06 Cancelled Order 01/07 Cancellation Processed 27/07 Awaiting refund. My 30 days are up on the 1st of August. Lets see if it arrives by then...... It's now the 5th August and still no refund...... I was told to e-mail the management to speed up the refund. I did 5 days ago. No reply. I HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM MY HOLIDAYS TO FIND I STILL HAVE NO REFUND ALMOST TWO MONTHS SINCE CANCELLING! From tomorrow I shall be calling the company twice a day until refunds are received. E-mailing is useless as you simply receive useless automated replies. Just called the company and been told its been escalated by management and accounts. When I told them it was escalated a month ago I was simply told "That's all I can do sir" I'm not holding my breath! It's now been over two months since I cancelled and almost three months since they took my money and still nothing. I have now gone to my bank and I'm awaiting forms in the post to do a chargeback and recover the money that way.
