Items that I purchased were excellent value. Struggled with the site to complete the order but the helpdesk advised correctly that I should use another web browser and that worked fine. Will be interested to see whether the delivery time is as long as suggested - I hope not. Faster delivery would promote this review to 5 stars.

I ordered an external hard drive from WAE+ on July 3, 2013. I understood that the free shipping would take 7-9 working days. I waited until 9 working days had passed and mailed the company on July 16. They replied saying “We have been advised by our warehouse that your order has been slightly delayed and we are due to expect a delivery in 7-9 working days. Are you happy to hold on this?” I called and was told that the product would be delivered by July 26 - 23 days after being ordered. I cancelled pointing out that at no time did the online order tracking facility warn me of this and, had I not called or emailed, I would have been waiting in for the delivery not knowing that it was going to be another 10 days. Very shoddy service and poor communication strategy. Not impressed and won't be using WAE+ again. [Update 10 Sept] After being told I would be refunded by August 17 I am still waiting. I called customer services and they said they don't deal with refunds and I should email [email protected]. I did this more than a week ago. Still no reply. Now the site is down. I have a feeling I won't get my refund. Avoid this company.

Like most buyers out there we look for the best deals. So when i came upon WAE+ i thought i had found a bargain for the new keyboard i was looking for. unfortunately it was a case of too good to be true. I had placed the keyboard into the shopping basket and logged off for the day intending to order it the next day. As to my surprise WAE+ sent me an email stating that if i order my product will be with me in 3-4 working days. Bonus i thought! so i placed my order. Once i placed the order i noticed that the 3-4 days delivery had changed to 10-11 working days. (first alarm bell) but thought will give it the 3-4 days.........Nothing turned up. So contacted them and they said that the product is coming from their European warehouse and that my order has been delayed by 10 working days. Needless to say i was not impress with this but they assured me that my order will be with me by then. To my shock it was! delivered by UPS with tracking number etc. I wish it had ended there but unfortunately it was just the beginning of yet more pain. The keyboard that turned up had been a German version...............This infuriated me. This is a UK website selling to a UK customer, why are they selling a German keyboard???? I phoned them up again to return it at their own cost which they did via UPS. They received their product back and told me they will refund my money. Dispite what their FQA says a refund should take 5-10 working day when i call them they tole me that its 30 days! and that its in the terms and condition. When i asked them WHY its going to take so long they said because they can!!! Any one looking at this website to buy anything MOVE ON!! do not believe the other glowing reviews of this company. This company is BAD to the core, if you buy and think it wont happen to me think again. Stay clear!

Made four orders. This was the third and am still waiting. Have contacted them a few times and received little information. Apparently they have no way of forwarding you to a manager on the phone. Was reassured a managed would call that day or the next... No call. Called again and was given an email address for management ([email protected] for anyone having trouble) but again haven't received any contact. Appalled at the service so far.

A generous 2 stars Late delivery: ordered 4th, was due 8-9th but arrived 11th. No explanation / apology email - though website's order status did (eventually) offer an apology. Item: Edimax EW-7238RPD WiFi extender. The day I received it, I accidentally applied an incorrect Edimax firmware (7438 instead of 7238), 'bricking' the unit. WAE+ refused a return request - doesn't cover accidental damage [Edimax won't replace it, either (though claim they'll attempt to ensure incorrect firmware can't be applied in future)]. Though I accept this was my fault, I'm not impressed with either company: though no doubt within their Ts&Cs, I feel either could have done more.

Most of these 3, 4 or 5 star reviews are written by customers immediately after purchasing something from WAE+ as you receive an email saying you get £5 for writing a review. Take this into account when looking at reviews as many people simply rate the company well so they can get the £5 promised for reviewing immediately after purchase without having received their order. It's now been 24 days since I ordered a monitor from WAE+ and it still hasn't arrived. I've called up 4 times now to check the location of my order, the previous 3 calls were all answered and I was told I would receive the item within 3-5 working days (first call was made the day after the last days the item was expected to arrive). I called WAE+ earlier to see where my order was and was told it still hasn't been shipped and would take another 3-5 working days. After the ridiculous waiting time of 24 days I cancelled my order and am currently awaiting a refund. WAE+ was cheaper than anywhere I looked by £50 but I'd happily pay the £50 to receive my order on time rather than endlessly calling and being told my order would arrive soon when it obviously wouldn't.

I ordered 5 parts for a self build PC, however only one item arrived on the last day of the shipping window, so it was only when I phoned up to enquire about my order that I was told that the other parts were out of stock and to wait for 5-10 working days for them to come in. So I waited......... A few weeks later I called again. I was told they were still out of stock but they were expecting a delivery within 5 working days.Although all parts were still advertised as in stock on the website. So I waited.......... In my next phone call that I made, a further couple of weeks later, I was told 3 out of the 4 items were in stock and they just needed one to come in in the next few days. I asked them to ship what they had as I could cope without the remaining part. They agreed. I waited again........ After making another Friday phonecall I was told that all items were now in stock, and would be receiving them either on Monday or Tuesday. So I waited...... By the end of the following week I was pretty miffed. However I received an email saying my items were ready to be collected by UPS. And they were delivered yesterday. Only 10 weeks after I'd ordered them (or 8 weeks later than expected). Summing up, the prices are great, but don't bank on getting anything soon or being told what's going on with your order.

I found the WAE+ website easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. The payment procedure was straight forward. It would be nice to have more feedback regarding expected delivery date of goods though, similar to the one offered by Scan where I receive emails at each stage of the process (picking f order, packaging of order, despatch and when in transit to delivery location). Will definitely use WAE+ again.

I made a purchase online which stated it was in stock. After a week it had not arrived and when I chased them they said it was out of stock and they were waiting for stock. I agreed to wait for the stock to come in. After another couple of weeks I chased again and was told they were still waiting for the stock which should be around a week. I waited one more week only to be told the same story, they offered a refund which I accepted. I then received an email from them stating the refund had not been processed due to a "Technical issue" with their previous card provider and they provided me with a letter to make a charge back from my card provider, which I did. I then received a letter from my bank stating the bank of WAE+ refused the charge back and my bank could not help any further!! I have all of the letters and email trail to proove this. After contacting WAE+ on several occassions I was completely ignored and have never received my refund to date despite several attempts to get it resolved.. My advise is DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. If the prices look to good to be true they usually are. BE CAREFUL

Items didn't arrive when expected. Arrived nearly two weeks later. I had to ring twice to chase up order as no information provided online as to why order was late. Each time told by out of country call centre assistant that he had emailed the warehouse to chase items but they were out of stock, I felt fobbed off. After reading many reviews about this company and being doubtful I'd get my items. I did decide to wait and give them a chance. It was a relief to finally be notified items were with courier. Not how online shopping experiences should be. On the plus side ...I saved a third on price compared to other retailers!

The first item I purchased was a PS2 to USB adaptor - a very small electrical item which turned out not to be in stock and that they were not intending to stck in the future. So the reality is, they hadn't updated their web page. Having said that, their email communication was first class and you can log on to see order status, and they also communicate individually with you by email. So overall quite pleased so far even though I didn't get my goods. Lets see if I get my money back?

Neil Wright 15 July 2013, 20:46

Please save yourself the hassle and buy your item elsewhere, even if it means paying more. as with virtually every other reviewer item was not delivered(after waiting 10 working days). I was told that the item was not going to be with me for at least another 14 days. so i cancelled, but now they won't refund me my money, so i have had to raise a charge back with my bank. I too left a positive review after placing my order because i thought i had saved my self around 10%. more fool me.
