14 days delivery estimate, it didn't come in that time (but they take your money immediately). Sent off an online query, wasn't answered after 2 days. Called (only 9-5), got an off shore call centre and was told another 5 working days. Cancelled. Rubbish. Avoid.

I don't know where to start or finish. This is a very sorry story and is best captured in an official complaint as follows: Dear Sir/Madam, Order number 258990-6691-2348 I want to formally complain about my order and wish to complain about the appalling level of service you have provided to me. On 21st of May I purchased on the internet a cupcake money box and a cupcake mug. These were supposed to be part of a birthday present for my daughter in June. The items came to my door in a large brown box that was totally insure with a small amount of brown tape around it. I noticed that the package rattled and seemed to contain loose items. Part of the problem seems to be that the box was about three times the size of the objects leaving room for movement within. When I opened it I found the items ordered were both broken into a number of pieces (see picture). I fed this back to your Company on your website on two separate occasions but received no reply. I then phoned twice but could not get a reply. I eventually got through to you last week and spoke to someone called [private data removed] who said he would deal with the matter and that we might need to return the broken items but he would check it out first. To date nothing else has happened and I feel that unless I keep pushing this issue you will do nothing about it. Your after sales service is at best inefficient and at worst beyond belief. I do not intend to send back these items- this just 'adds insult to injury' and would cost more than we paid for the goods in the first place. What I would like you to do is to investigate this complaint and reply to me in writing about what you intend to do about it. Finally I would like this matter be brought to the attention of a senior person in the Company so that someone can look into improving a service for others who might buy from you and for you to assure me that this has taken place. Yours sincerely, Lynn Richardson I did then receive an automated e mail 22/6/13 saying it could take up to 4 weeks to investigate this complaint. So far I have received no response so today I followed this up with a chaser about this abysmal service and again received no reply. If you were me what would you be thinking!! I would never do business with you again and hope that this feedback reaches other potential customers as a warning of what you might expect.

I contacted customer service after the 10-12 working days delivery time because the order was still awaiting fulfillment only to be told that I would have to wait for another 5-7 working days. They probably use the cash flow to make money: charge straight away but send the goods as late as possible, or hope the customer cancels after the medieval delivery times. Day 40 "update": Still awaiting fulfillment, nothing sent yet

I find it completely laughable that a company sooooooooo bad at providing good customer service actually have the cheek to ask their customers to leave them reviews on TrustPilot....I mean seriously, are you having a laugh? Anyway, to my issue.... Placed order, was told delivery would be 7 days. Further update from this joke of a company was that the order had been delayed and it would be a further few days. Requested cancellation and was fobbed off, telling me the order would be delivered and not to worry. Order never turned up and I have requested a refund several times. I have made my position VERY clear that I will be filing a small claim with them and reporting them to the police for fraud. They state that their terms and conditions allow them 30 days for a refund but that is not legal. The distance selling regulations state that a refund has to be processed AS SOON AS POSSIBLE with the 30 days being an absolute maximum. Avoid at ALL costs.

Firstly, I've reported this company to a few organisations (including Consumer Advice and Trading Standards). I ordered my item on the 2nd of July and was given a time frame via their order system that it would arrive by the 8th of July. When the 8th came along and I heard nothing, I contacted them. I was asked to "wait a few more working days for it to arrive", of course when I told them recently I was asked to wait those few working days they had no record of the conversation (what?). I contacted them again and was told it would *definitely* be here by Friday 19th July. Nothing here today, so I phoned them again. Notice that I have to contact them! They have told me that it will be delivered TO THEIR WAREHOUSE by NEXT Friday (26th July). So I ordered something on the 2nd which was apparently in stock, only to receive it a month later? No thanks. I told them I want a refund, apparently they are sorting that out but I highly doubt this will be a quick and pleasant experience. Reported to a number of organisations, sent a complaint in to WAE+ which will likely be ignored. I'll continue to write the terrible reviews they deserve on every website I can find. Social networking is also going to prove very useful.

It took weeks and several phones calls until I received my order. I was told the items from coming from a European warehouse but it took weeks! Once the item arrived (Netgear router) I found it had a foreign plug and the adapter placed in the box didn't fit. I requested another one (type 2 shown on their website) but again it took 2 weeks to arrive so I ended up sending it back for a refund. I also found that my order details were never available to track, view or update via the WAE+ website. After logging in it was just blank so I had to use the telephone support every time. They were friendly and helpful but delivery of their promises was just too slow for the TV and router that I ordered. Tip: Check the part number of your product before ordering to see if it's the UK or European model. I only found this after ordering.

I bought a BD Rewriter from these guys which wasn't far off half the price I would have paid for it in the High Street. Great! I opted - as I always do - for free delivery and it took two and a half weeks to arrive. That wasn't great so in future I will choose a speedier option, buit the gear is good and the price, brilliant so it's not a deal-breaker.

I ordered my product on 2 July with the latest date for delivery 8 July. I had to chase three times after this date and was given differing delivery dates. They only emailed me with updates after I had chased them. Their tracking system is poor and they are not proactive in keeping customers informed of delays. This is the worst service I have ever received from a company. I eventually received my product on 18 July. Cannot recommend this company!

Order confirmation didn't work but e mail came through to confirm order. Very competitive price but not received goods yet. Young man I talked to very polite and up to speed. Let s hope it all works. Bit of an act of faith as yet as order not to be delivered for at least two weeks! Good job not in a hurry!! Still Not received product and refuse to give refund or say when it will arrive. They have had my money since 19 th July it's now August 16 th. taken them to dispute with my credit card company. Total scammers!

I ordered a camcorder from WAE+ which was listed as being in stock. Over two weeks later I still hadn't received my order so I cancelled it and order the same product from Amazon (who delivered it within 3 days). WAE+ stated that my refund would be processed within 30 days but after 38 days I've still not received any money. So it now looks like I will have to claim my money back through Visa. I would suggest that anybody else reading this who has had a similar experience with WAE+ to pass on the info to Citizens Advice consumer service (as I have done) who will then pass it on to Trading Standards. That way Trading Standards will be able to gather evidence and hopefully investigate them.

Don't be lured in by cheap prices. I was! They had the item i wanted marked as in stock and eligible for UPS quick delivery. Turns out they were lying. They didn't have it in stock and to cap it all, they are still to refund me.

I PLACED MY ORDER FOR A NOKIA ASHA DUALSIM PHONE ON THE 27TH JUNE AND SELECTED THE 3-5 DAY DELIVERY. ON THE 9TH JULY I CONTACTED WEA TO QUIERY WHY I HAD'NT RECEIVED MY PHONE, THE GENTLEMAN I SPOKE TO SAID IT WAS OUT OF STOCK AND THEY WERE NOT SURE WHEN THEY WOULD BE GETTING ANYMORE STOCK IN. I ASKED WHY THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME REGARDING STOCKING ISSUES AND HE SAID HE DIDN'T KNOW WHY. I REECIVED AN EMAIL TO SAY THAT THEY HAD CANCELLED MY ORDER. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND

Ordered and waited till end of promised delivery period then followed up to be told the shipment had been delayed and did I want to wait several more days for despatch. I declined and cancelled the order. The following day I received notification of despatch and the day after (today) I had a delivery attempt from UPS. I contacted WAE plus to be advised that I should either refuse the delivery at the next attempt or contact UPS to arrange to return the goods back to WAE - clearly this outfit have no idea what customer service means. I was also contact immediately after placing the order for "order feedback" - this had to be completed in less than several days hence before their shambolic delivery performance was apparent. WAE have much to learn....

Mike Stillwell 18 July 2013, 14:22

I suggest you steer well clear of WAE+ as they tell you they have stock, take your money at the point of ordering, have excessive delivery times to keep you waiting only to be told, after giving further false information about stock coming from their European warehouse, that they do not have stock. They then offer you alternatives, which again are shown in stock, to be subsequently told these also are not available. You then have no alternative but to cancel the order which then takes 30 days to get a refund, if you are lucky to get it back. They were originally called We Are Electrical and have carried on the deceitful practice of taking customers money for upto 40 to 60 days and in some cases forever. I have since found out my daughter-in-law dealt with this company, had the same problems, but never received a refund. Read the terrible reviews and go somewhere else. I have reported them to Trading Standards.

Terrible checkout process as the site will not let me create a different shipping address unless I do this is Opera. Neither IE or Chrome work. The product prices are very good but the free postage is very slow. 10 working days minimum! What's all that about???

Dean Barrett 17 July 2013, 23:51

Ordered a Graphics Card from them, they took payment stating that the item was in stock and would be delivered within 10 days under their free service. 10 days no item.... Cancelled order....told I would receive an email confirming the funds had been returned to my account....no refund or email...... Complained and requested refund again...told email would be received confirming payment..... Now 1 month after the original order still no refund. Now contacting solicitors, Trading Standards, C.A.B. and Watchdog.

I placed an order fo a coffee machine and had high hopes as the price seemed good. I got a tracking number and after a week or so I rang to see why nothing appeared to be happening. I was advised that the item was still in time accorded to the longest predicted delivery date. I asked if delivery could be speeded up but was told no. I rang a week later and was advised the item was still to be dispatched but that it was in stock. I rang again the next week to be told the same thing but also that there was an issue with the European depot. I was given a promise then that the item would arrive in 5-7 days. Another week has gone by and I am still waiting!!!!!!!! Update - now over 5 weeks since order. I was told two weeks ago that the order was on it's way. After a week I rang again and was told there was a problem - the order was damaged in transit. I was then told there was a stocking issue. After another call I was told that the item had been discontinued. I was given an email address [email protected]. I had no reply from them until after my third email. I was also promised a call when I rang customer services again. The response I got eventually did not address any of the issues raised but offered a refund in a manner which seemed to suggest they were doing me a favour! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH - I WOULD RECOMMEND, UNLESS YOU WISH TO RISK (LIKE ME) JUST LENDING THEM YOUR MONEY FOR A FEW MONTHS, YOU SHOULD AVOID THEM!
