Assistance arrived within the time initially stated. Although the operator was not able to rectify the defect he was very courteous and helpful and was able to transport the broken down vehicle and myself to the location of my choice. I would certainly recommend using this company.

After giving a very detailed explanation of my situation ie that my car was in my drive with a flat battery and that due to the necessity to park with the passenger side near to the concrete fence between mine and my neighbours drive in order for me to exit the car from the drivers side . As the bonnet catch is in the passenger door casing and requires the door to be open in order to release it and the fact that the electronic handbrake would not deactivate , that any recovery would require dollies under the rear wheels in order to pull the car to the top of my drive so that I could open the bonnet to jump start it .however when the recovery vehicle arrived and after discovering that he couldn't open the bonnet declared he didn't carry wheel dollies and couldn't recover my car. I was then told by my Emergency Assist that I would be charged £98 because the recovery company hadn't recovered my car.Also that a special recovery vehicle and equipment would be needed to recover my car at a cost of £603?? Plus I have to pay the £98 on top . Suffice to say I am not impressed with the Emergency assist company or the recovery company .being a retired Senior Fire Officer I expected a far more professional response . My next action is to get a mechanic with a trolley jack to help me slide the car over so that I can release the door and bonnet catch.

The recovery truck turned up quickly. Very professional and courteous service. Took me and car to local garage and made sure everything was all set.

The job was cancelled but the driver still came and has driven across the grass leaving a extensive mess my land lady is not happy

Arrived timely and was not very difficult to get help from helpline aswell.

The only reason this place is getting one star is because the driver who arrived was polite, although he didn't do anything apart from plug his computer in and tell me I need to change my plugs. They were supposed to arrive at 10:45 and they didn't turn up at my house until 12:15. I'd called in about 7pm. And they didn't fix the problem. There was actually no point in him coming. Changed all my plugs as advised and it didn't do a thing. He told me they don't check the plugs or he didn't have the equipment to take them off so he hadn't even looked at them. If you'd have actually looked at the engine and checked it, you could have figured out the problem. Bonnet didn't go up. Waste of time

Absolutely brilliant service from them, especially the pick up guy Sam. Arrived promptly having kept in touch with us before arrival to make sure we were ok and to confirm ETA. We were stuck in the city centre of Manchester in busy traffic and filthy weather. He was just such a happy, polite and knowledgeable person. We missed the gig we were going to but have to say we had a good time being driven home by Sam in his pick up truck. Great service all round. So much better than the bigger breakdown companies.
