Dear Zoolz, I understand you have to make money but please note that the best way to do so is to be honest with your customers. Lifetime is lifetime and if for some reason you have decided to stop honoring your promise then start by issuing a full refund with an apology to valid customers. Your cloud back up service has been reliable for me over the past few years but now I am unsure whether to continue using your service.

Zoolz sell a life time license but now it claims that my maintenance expire and ask me to pay for the maintenance. I find it is really ridiculous. Moreover, I cannot get the reset password link when I forgot my password. Never buy it.

Another computer amateur here. I spent untold hours trying to figure out why my Zoolz program was not backing up correctly. Checked and re-checked everything and thought I had it right. Finally gave up and consulted with Robin Scott at Zoolz, and she had me up and running fast. She also let me know where my errors were and followed through on repairing them, so when we were done chatting everything was running smoothly and I knew how to set it up correctly. This is extraordinary service, and I VERY greatly appreciate it! Zoolz is #1 !

Well priced, many options and great service and support. I contacted the sales looking for options other than the listed on the site, turns out they have a huge selection of products and plans and even they can tailor a custom made plan to some extent for the users. Overall I was impressed. Speeds are really good, topped out my 300Mbps connection uploading and downloading, options in the software to throttle upload speed not to kill your bandwidth, smart reports about each device's backup status, and much much more. Feels like you're truly SECURING your data.

So zoolz offered a lifetime backup service. It seems this means the lifetime of a fly, because I am now asked for more money to ensure the service I have already paid for. And they want me to update Zoolz, which update consistently fails, so they nag me to update.... Ah well, I put this down to experience. Avoid this bunch of crooks.

I bought a 1 TB lifetime account nearly two years ago. In December I got some mails telling me my account would expire if I don't pay for an upgrade and now it just doesn't backup anymore. I chose Zoolz because I could purchase a lifetime account. Little did I know that "lifetime" would mean less than two years. They do not deliver as promised. Don't put your trust or money in Zoolz.

How short a Lifetime Plan can be? Well, according to Zoolz it looks like not even a year. I paid for a 1,5 TB lifetime account in May 2019, in December I started to receive some emails encouraging to Upgrade, thought it was a Mail-list distribution mistake. However today I noticed that Zoolz Backup Tool has stopped working, and when I get into the Zoolz Website My Account has expired. So far no answers from Zoolz. Until I get an explanation 1 star is more than enough. Definitely they have lost my trust.

I renewed our Zoolz account. I was a little confused since some of the offers to renew came from a company other than Zoolz. And when I used our credit card to pay, I was a little nervous that the money may be going to a company other than Zoolz. Anyway, everything worked out okay. Thank you

Bought a life time 1TB, now they want money?!? Its not clear if I need to pay / what the speed impact to me will be if I don't. But when I bought the "life time" service I did not see anything that stated in a few years we will hobble your account if you don't pay more. (Hobble as in speed, auto cold storage vault data, etc) Not happy and lost confidence :( Bit sad i recommended it to friends and family.

I was looking for something similar to Time Machine on my Mac, and this truly fits the bill! It's awesome, fairly fast when backing up over 50GB of data from an external drive, and very robust. Definitely worth it, and I've tried 4 other backup solutions prior to this one. The big reason I like it is due to its simplicity plus its power. It's very simple to use yet very powerful and does everything needed.

I have 2 life time accounts an several other monthly account that I was using for business backups, so zoolz gets about $300 a year from me. Not anymore. They are changing the terms of the "lifetime" account and giving you only 2 weeks to upgrade or lose your data. Too Bad, before this I was somewhat happy with them. Not anymore.

For the last several years, Zoolz has been offering lifetime accounts. Now, they're reneging on it by forcing lifetime to users to pony up yearly fees to get premium accounts. Otherwise, they wrote in an email sent to lifetime subscribers, the lifetime account will be compromised by reduced functionality. So basically, it's been a scam.
