Yes you would think it would be easy to update the payment info and upgrade the data plan but it is NOT. It is very clunky and non-intuitive. It is also difficult since it is not done with your Zoolz account. As for being able to see folder sizes and your reply that this is coming. I have been using Zoolz for at least 5 years (and probably longer) and the "It's coming soon" line is old and tiresome. Either do it, or just say it is never going to happen.
Signed up for 100gb of free lifetime storage. Now it no longer recognises my account. Thankfully I stored my photos in an additional manner.
The best thing about Zoolz service is a lesson - never do it again. Despite what you've heard, there is no lifetime membership, and you'll not get your documents back.
Upgrading data plan and payment onfo is extremely difficult. Also it would be nice yo see the ability show my folder sizes in the web interface to be able to manage my data.

I do a discount payment with techradar about 49.95 USD for 5 GB online yearly and it's just for 1 computer and no more... That way I prefer consider other options... I had an older version of Zoolz, and had to change my computer - when I redownloaded Zoolz, it appeared that everything I had uploaded was gone! You can imagine my reaction. I immediately contacted Zoolz, and Christina came to my rescue. She was prompt in her replies, and so very helpful as we worked through the problem and finally realised what had happened. Links were sent, and she helped me step by step until I had everything back to how it was. Zoolz has been great for me, and I can't fault the help I received.

Don't purchase zoolz! 1tb vault (hot storage) + 1tb cold storage Lifetime plan is a TRUE LIE. Didn't state upfront what maintenance plan (ability to share files) truly means. I vaguely remember reading something like the maintenance plan will end after some time but it was in the small text and I thought it was customer service or something. What good is hot storage if you cannot even share files with others?

I purchased a lifetime account with Zools, in fact I purchased a few. one day the announced the lifetime account will not be honored (or rather 'cannot be supported') and then proposed to give their loyal customers a discount on the new home plan 5TB such that it will be $15.98/Year instead of $49.99. Guess what - the 'next billing' is now $49.99 so they provided a single year discount which is less then the original 'lifetime' purchase. The promotion was not clear about this being a single year discount. I think both go to show less then admirable regard of users. With that their service is not bad and their lifetime price was excellent so I will just caution you to check the small print and not expect much customer focus.
avoid this company at all costs. Shady business practices but not honouring the deals they have sold. Lifetime means lifetime and the responses from support are awful and they have zero intention of honouring the deal I.e. the contract at all. There are many other solutions out there so please avoid this company.
I have been using their products since 2015 and each version gets better with more capability. More important, the Company stands behind their product. From the back office to tech support, they are very responsive. Currently installing Backup Manager on two machines and received email from them on Sunday with my new license info. Could not ask for much more. I have IDrive and previously had Acronis - each have their strengths and weaknesses. Will stay with the Genie product line, fast, easy and user friendly.

Clearly cheated with the 2TB lifetime plan. Please do not buy those. There are better options out there. This is not the way business is done.
I really,like there service, pricing, and easy to use app. I got 5TB of cold storage for a very resonable price for an entire year. plus their app has several settings you you could tinker with. I highly recommend Zoolz, for cloud back-ups. They also have very good encryption, and security. I give Zoolz, 5 stars.
Great backup solution, affordable and does not need to time to setup. I switched from another provider a couple of years ago and I am satisfied with the service.
A 100% 5 stars, almost finished the 1 year subscription, and juat got the lifetime subscription.
