Dear Truspilot. How are you allowing "the Zoolz rip off Team" spam your site with the exact same message for every customer? I bought two Lifetime plans over a year ago, first, they degraded the service, and now they've shut it down. Their "spam" response does not answer the issue of customers who bought their lifetime subscription over a year ago. Also, if anyone is reading this. If you ever see this SCAM company, who used our money to start a business, sell on sites like STACKSOCIAL. Please email them to make sure they are not able to SCAM anyone else. Do the right thing Zoolz. Either shut down, or pay everyone's money back instead of sending emails blaming COVID. NO ONE BELIEVES YOU

My lifetime storage account is being cancelled after 2 years of use. The only solution they offer is a paid yearly subscription. Absolute scam and untrustworthy. Avoid. They deserve to go out of business.

They deserves a class action lawsuit: I've purchased in 2018 a "Lifetime Home Cloud Backup" service from Zoolz, key on the "Lifetime Service" as that was the main reason on the purchase and its main feature. On September 30, 2020 Zoolz emailed its customer that is ending all the Home services including the Lifetime accounts, like mine. That clearly constitute a Breach of Contract from Zoolz. To make things worse, the company has disabled the download methods from the accounts account, make the service unresponsive and I cannot recover my precious personal data stored on its servers and they gave only 15 days to download it, before they completely deletes my account and my data causing a huge amount of personal damages as there are stored my life's woth of memmories: photos, videos, documents, etc. I've attempted several times to conctat the company and they simply do not care, they do not make any attempt to help. Only that the decision is final and on October 15 my data will be deleted and my account closed. They clearly dissapointed and scammed their lifetime users and are not even trying to refund and compensate for the potential damages to Lifetime account holders. The main service of Cloud backup is to keep safe your data and retrieve it when needed and they NEVER delivered on its promise as we can't even recover the data. They should vbe sue to the ground for damages.

Backup was working on my Lifetime account since 2017. Zoolz then started telling me that they'll offer no software support because I don't pay them (I did, for a lifetime account), and now they tell me I only have 15 days to backup my data elsewhere because they will remove my LIFETIME account. Save some life time too, check out other services.

Can I give it less than one star? They offered a "lifetime" plan. Then they disabled their backup software for the "lifetime" plan. Now they're dropping the "lifetime" plan. And the worst part is that, according to them, I won't get a refund, even though it was for a "lifetime". In my opinion, it's a bait-and-switch scam and they shouldn't be trusted!

I'm in the same boat where I paid for a Lifetime Subscription and now they are canceling this service within 2 weeks window. Hope for a Class Action, but this could take a while. I suggest to all of you with same issue, to file a complaint at econsumer.gov (if you're in USA or Canada). If you're in a different country, check your local options. I already file a complaint. It's an easy process. Good luck!

Discontinuing their lifetime service and offering no refund to folks who purchased a plan more than a year ago. Offering a discount on their overpriced annual "business" service. I bet they will steal this money too for anyone stupid enough to throw good money after bad. Avoid at all costs.

Like many others, zoolz sent notification that they'll be closing our lifetime accounts with a 2 week notice. Either they shouldn't have sold lifetime subscriptions in the first place, honor them, or refund our money. Any businesses thinking about moving to their business plans should be concerned that zoolz business practices would do the same. STAY AWAY from this business.

Like so many others I have 3 lifetime accounts only to be told that they are being closed. I think this should be reported to Amazon Web Services as they are charging people for lifetime accounts then closing them without their business going bust etc. Surely this should be a breach of contract with Amazon as well as the people that have paid for the lifetime accounts as like others have said it is fraud. I can not see how this is good business sense to cancel these accounts as businesses will be looking for a honest reliable service that they can count on. So if you are a business they could just turn round and cancel your account at any time.

I have two lifetime accounts (which I've bought 2 years ago). Now Zoolz is saying me "we have taken you money, and now good bye, we will give you nothing. But you can be happy - we will continue to sell our service for enterprice-clients". I think so: as long as Zoolz is not bankrupt, it is their debpt to continue fulfill their obligations.

Apparently I must be dead because they are not honoring my lifetime account. This backup system was slow and difficult to get working, but I was willing to suck it up because I paid for lifetime storage. I don't want to pay to upgrade. They should provide what they promised.

When I made the purchase, it was listed as lifetime with no additional cost. It's only been two years and now they're saying they no longer honor their offer?! You gotta be kidding me. This is such a bait and switch scheme. Scam company! Stay away! Edit: It's been 2 weeks since I started my restore process to retrieve my data and it's still not downloading. They gave us 2 weeks to get our data off or else it'll be deleted. Wow what a reliable scamming piece of s**t company!

I bought a "lifetime" 1TB cloud backup for a fixed price. They lied. I'm still alive, and they're canceling it. Liars. Edit: Look at their reply! A "lifetime" is either 30 days, or a fraction of 12 months.

So I and my family all had Zoolz "lifetime" accounts, yesterday zoolz announced they were dicontinuing their services BUT I could PAY MORE if i wanted to keep my data. Oh and also, no refunds unless purchased in the last 30 days. This company is a complete scam, reselling AWS space, poor cutomer service, terrible buggy software. Give this a complete miss.

I purchased their Home subscription at a lifetime deal, in 2017. After 3 years I find out that they are closing that account and I now have to purchase a yearly membership. Not sure - is lifetime forever, or... three years? Besides that, downloading my data from their servers takes, according to their estimation, between 3-12 hours, during which time the server disconnects and that makes downloading over 500 GB of data an impossible task. I would not recommend this Zoolz service to anyone. ---------------- Update: As per their reply (below), I did not mention any refund. Instead, I wish they would address the fact that I purchased a "lifetime" subscription, which now, after 3 years is being canceled and I'm being asked to purchase a new yearly deal. So what is the idea behind offering a Lifetime account? You are not running out of business. You just decided to make the ones who purchased your lifetime deal pay you a yearly fee.

Zoolz discontinues the promised "lifetime" storage. I wasted 50 $. Since my "lifetime" order is older than 12 months I will get no refund. In addition I wasted my time in uploading pictures and family videos. Now I have to waste even more time in downloading them again. It's very frustrating.
