Moved the the isle of wight back in October. Should have been transferred by my old company. Never was. Phoned wight fibre and wow. Excellent service. Speak to a local person. Great speed and very happy. Would recommend anyone to choose this company

Decided to use Wight Fibre after some recommendations from friends and hit and miss services from bigger providers. Phoned up to see what could be done and the whole process was explained and booked in from a friendly 10m conversation. Installation was done in about 2hrs, involved drilling a hole in walk and feeding cable through. Since then, this is BY FAR the fastest and most reliable Internet I've ever had and I only use the basic package. Would recommend to all IOW residents.
Fast broadband. Only criticism is when recording you can only watch limited programs.

Good sales info via the phone ahead of purchase. Arrived on time for install. Would have preferred hub to be fitted into same location as previous hub, as all ethernet cables for the rest of the house ran back to that point, however hub was fitted onto external wall - however this agreed with my wife whilst I wasn't at the property, so understandable. I would have hoped that the installers would have looked at the existing situation & matched it rather than asked to install the easier option.
They got the job done
If this review were just for Broadband speeds it's be 5/5! Going from 42mbps to 328mbps is just amazing. Communication throughout was good and installation was quick and simple. My only negative, which is more on me than Wightfibre, when asked were to install, don't just put it by your front door like most routers are. Put it in the middle of your house (depending on your lay out).

We waited over 18 months for installation from our first enquiry, on 3 separate occasions we were given installation dates which were constantly pushed back. However, once available installation was very quick and the team were very knowledgeable and courteous. During installation they identified an issue with our equipment which they quickly resolved. Access speeds on both upload and download are as expected and in fact regularly exceed stated their guarantees, would highly recommend them.

Very impressed with the service received and great that you can talk to someone straight away and not have to go through automated message. We have a bit of a problem getting connection in one side of the house so we will need to look at that, would prefer to buy an extender from Wightfibre rather than paying monthly for one/two so again need to look at that. We have had a problem getting the router to reset after power gone off and have had to ring every time but one which is ok if phone line open but if closed would have no wifi so no tv either.
