The actual balloon flying experience was great well worth the money etc. However i lost count of the times my flights were cancelled (at least 7 times this year)...i waited 4 years. So if you are prepared to wait, possibly a long time, its a fantastic experience. Top tip, book morning flights,they seem more sucessfull.

Great flight with our virgin pilot, Robert. it was watching the whole process and getting involved. it was so beautiful and peaceful up in the sky. my boyfriend and i enjoyed it very much. Worth the 2 year wait

After waiting 4 years and enduring 7 cancelled bookings my sister and I were able to finally take our hot air balloon ride and yes it was worth the wait. Very early start at 5.30am to see the set up of the balloon but we were soon up and away. Very tranquil mode of travel, literally floating in the air with wonderful views of the Essex countryside. Our pilot Woody was excellent answering all our questions and pointing out the local areas of interest. Brought us back down to earth with a gentle landing and we all helped pack up the balloon which was strenous but good fun. Afterwards we all toasted our adventure with prosecco! Thanks so much to Woody and his team for a fantastic experience. Would recommend booking for the morning flights (more chance of being successful) and being persistent if it keeps being cancelled as it's usually due to safety reasons. Well worth it in the end!

Amazing experience. Pete the pilot and the ground crew were all very friendly & welcoming. From the moment we arrived at the launch site we were extremely impressed. Very smooth flight, perfect weather & only a very slightly bumpy landing. Pete is obviously a very experienced pilot & the ground crew could not have been more friendly.

Our pilot Allie was really great and we felt very safe in her hands. All staff I was dealing with were extremely professional and helpful which was really important since I booked everything from Austria.

Nobby is a real professional. We could not fault the flight from start to finish. Helping with the set up and pack down of the balloon helps you to enjoy the flight more. The takeoff was seamless, the flight was fantastic and the landing was extremely smooth. At all times Nobby was relaxed and accommodating and gave us full confidence in his control and flight safety. It took us several years to get a flight date due to weather cancellations but it was well worth the wait!

It was a Beautiful Day. We were so lucky as we only booked the flight two weeks before. I was a little bit nervous but I never felt so safe. Once up in the air it was like it was normal thing to do. Allie are pilot was very informative . Going lower and higher to show the best views. We landed safely and it was great fun.

I have little doubt the customer service provided has been second to none. My circumstances have caused several delays in booking a flight but the consideration shown to me has been first class. Thank you

After 5 cancellations and waiting over a year, we had the most amazing flight, beautiful clear skies and Alli was brilliant, definitely worth the wait 😊
