Awful platform, not intuitive, and it crashes at least 2-3 times per month with customer service telling you they're working on it. There are much better platforms to use like PracticeFusion, and even Charm, which are connected to lab services like Quest. Don't bother with this thing.
Customer support is always so friendly, helpful, and patient. The platform is easy to use for patients and providers. I am so glad I chose therapynotes for my practice’s EMR.
This is the best business. You can call day or night with the most mundane and easiest of questions and everyone is so helpful and easy to understand. My assistant has covid and I do not know how to do a lot of the administrative functions and they have been patient and helpful.
TN is the best. Seriously. No matter who I speak to in customer service, they are friendly and oh so patient with me. Their product is intuitive and constantly improving. As a solo practitioner, I couldn't be happier.

I like many aspects of TN but I have one big problem. One of the selling points was a telehealth platform. It was working well for a month and overnight it didn't work unless the patient had a patient portal. The population I work with has problems with portals. I've been told TN is working on it but now we are going into the second month without it and I have had to return to doxy. Frustrating. One day after I wrote this review the problem was resolved. I suggest that the person who responded check into the problem with colleagues.
Because I'm new to TherapyNotes, I enjoy having access to a representative 24 hours a day who is willing to discuss my issues with me. Thanks for your support!

I have been a TherapyNotes customer for over 6 years, and have had 100% fabulous support for any issues, big or small - the customer service team are literal rock stars. TherapyNotes fits all the needs for my group practice and watching it grow and adapt to the changing needs of mental health providers through the pandemic was incredible. If I had a complaint I would not hesitate to share it, but I have NONE! Scheduling, billing, notes, client portal, outcome tools, telehealth, appointment reminders, always adapting. Rockstars.
The representative actively listend to my concern and frustration. The rep was calm, ensured that what I was needing help with was what I was saying. This rep walked me through the process, step-by-step. I felt listened to and validated. My concerns were resolved within minutes.

The service is fairly inexpensive for everything that's offered and scheduling and billing are easy once you get set up. Things I would like to see improved: Telehealth video options are limited, could be much better without having to pay extra. And it would be great to have the option of being able to use a DAP format for notes. That being said, I've tried a few other options and TherapyNotes has been the simplest and most user friendly. When things don't make sense, they provide plenty of support and instructional information on the website. It's relatively easy to understand and I've generally found it more helpful than the online introductory sessions.
