Appalling experience with this company on recorking my Moeck recorder. The new corks were so tight that when I first put it together, I couldn't get the top joint apart again. Within about half an hour furing which time the recorder was sitting next to me on a table, the recorder spontaneously split with the pressure presumably because the cork was so tight. Dreadful customer service after this, refusing to acknowledge the problem and trying to blame me for having a humid house although it is a perfectly normal environnent and I have had my recorder in this house for years! They did repair the very extensive split for free, but this has basically caused massive damage to a beautiful instrument, and they even refused to send it back to me until I paid return postage up front. They did not respond to my emails and I was never put through to the technician on the phone, as we was always apparently available. I do not recommend this company.

Spoke to them asking if they would like to buy my lute. I was quickly stopped, when offering details, and asked to send an email with details and pictures which I did the same day. They have been totally unresponsive to this and a second email. So they wasted my time by asking me to compose an email and to take, upload and send pictures of my lute when they had absolutely no intention of responding. It is now almost a month and I'm still waiting. My advice, don't bother wasting your time with them.

Beware of charges if you live outside the UK. My daughter recently purchased a flute case worth €74.96 (Excluding Taxes). Shipping cost paid to the seller was €23 and on delivery she was charged an extra €41 (approx. €21 VAT and the rest was "brokerage" charges to UPS. I understand VAT needs to be paid but additional "brokerage fees" were not disclosed prior to purchase and these are the "customers responsibilty".

This is second times happened to me. Paid Courier service £9.50 for both times. They shipped by Royal Mail 1st class according to them instead of courier. Called customer service but no explanation why they shipped by Royal Mail instead of courier service and no help at all. Do not ever pay for courier service just waste of your money. Over charging and make profit from shipping cost isn’t great business. Highly recommend to change your shipping method and consider customer service better.

I ordered a garklein recorder and paid £132 on 16 August 2022. It's now 30th August. No replies to 4 e mails sent asking for updates. No recorder but £132 taken by them. Really bad service. Money paid. Have I lost £132 ???

Bought a batch of these strings - one packet wasn't even Aquila, they replaced it with a transparent packet since they ran out of stock but they didn't bother letting me know. Ironically the unknown one was the only one that was fit for purpose, all Aquila ones wouldn't hold to pitch and snapped instantly or a few hours after putting them on two different violins. Contacted the store and they said there was nothing wrong with the strings and that it was my violin's problem instead. Never purchasing anything from here again.
