Very heplful in helping me choose between different options and even advised on a product that wasn't the most expensive, which actually resulting in my buying more than I had intended. I'll certainly be back.

The shop told me my recorders would take a week to 10 days to service/repair. This sounded good, so I sent them off and after 10 days asked about progress. I needed the recorders back! Work began another week later and they were finally sent out after 3 1/2 weeks. Sending recorders away is nerve-wracking and I could have done with more information about timescale before and during the process. Thank you to Barry for his good repair work.

Superb service

Very friendly and good service! Only reason I only gave four stars is because I had to pay European duty import tax as it was sent from the UK. Probably my own fault, I should have checked better, but maybe it could also be better visualised on the website or during checkout, to avoid these 'surprises'

Wanted to buy a recorder. Demo models all sanitised and available to try. Excellent selection with a wide range of prices to suit your budget. I bought two!

I had 4 recorders overhauled at TEMS and they are all now very playable after about 20 years of non use. Very pleased with the care taken with these instruments.

Bass viol G string ordered and received promptly. However the string was far too short, even tho' my bass string length is only 70cm. Of course they don't know what's in the packet when they send it out. They quickly sent me a replacement but I had to return the short string, costing me an extra £2.50. If they hadn't kept pestering me for a review, I would not have bothered! So here it is.

The early music staff were brilliant. They gave me as much time as I needed. A range of tenor instruments were shown and I was able to play and compare in a separate room. The time and advice I was given has ensured I now have a fantastic new tenor.
