***Please read their response lol, no resolution was had by me. ***Purchased the Decelle Putty Sectional and Ottoman along with the complete delivery and setup fees, and the Select 'Warranty' for $200 from Teppermans in late 2022 and within about 3 months, the seams sagged, the fabric wrinkled and the sectional looked/looks like its 20 years old. I had purchased the 'warranty' but of course that issue isn't covered. After numerous contacts with Teppermans and having someone visit my home to see what I was talking about, they determined it was 'fine'.... according to them. They deducted a couple hundred bucks and sent me a new pillow insert - but its not the pillow, its the fabric. The seams sag below where its supposed to by almost 2 inces! The sectional is terrible, looks cheap and I am so disappointed. Teppermans advertises 'satisfaction guaranteed'... but not in my opinion. Too bad because the sectional I had purchased years before from them was and still is in tip top condition (not Decelle) as my sister took it. I no longer can see the Decelle on their website. Not a good purchase, not a good experience. I feel sick having to pay that much for crap furniture.

Will never shop at Teppermans again. Purchased a couch and within months the fabric started to ball. When I contacted customer service the girl displayed no customer service skills, was rude and in the end told me to purchase a clothes shaver to remove the fuzz balls forming on my new couch. We bought a couch and loveseat in Oct 2021. When it was delivered, it arrived with damage on it, and they damaged our hardwood floors during the delivery. After over a year of waiting for parts. They arrived and were the wrong parts. Three months later they replaced our couch. The second couch arrived damaged. Another couple of months before it was repaired. They said repeatedly said they would pay us for the damage on the floor. Almost two years later we have yet to see any money arrive. Even after they said the sent a cheque. Stay away from these clowns. Nothing but lies and delays.

Guess biggest issue is product they sell, Samsung stainless fridge rusted after 1 year 5 months, stainless , basically shiny steel magnets stick like glue, bought extended warranty, doesn’t cover wait for it rRUST Stainless rusting BS magnet sticking on it poor nickel content Extended warranty only on mechanical May I say Teppermans gives zero support on this, no explanation on the warrranty as far as stainless goes Yup do your research before buying from them or buying any Samsung product Our Samsung fridge failed within first 3 days , had to be repaired Ice makers are garbage and fail pretty regular

Asked for this appliance to be replaced by GE or Teppermans. Got hold of GE and they refused and wanted to fix it, Teppermans did not either unless approved by GE. Unacceptable for a range less than 4 months old. Purchased this GE hydro range and it was less than 4 months old and began tripping the 30 amp breaker in our hydro box. Emailed Teppermans and they advised me to get a technician supplied by GE to diagnose the problem. had to wait a week for the tech guy to come and it took him over an hour to diag what was wrong. He finally came to the conclusion that both the cooking and broiling function were coming on at the same time because of a faulty circuit board causing the breaker to trip. So it was another week to order the part and another tech visit to install it, and who knows if this will fix it for good. Meanwhile we had been without an oven for about 4 weeks. So waiting for the tech guy to show up this week and fix the stove. Unacceptable for a range that is less than 4 months old. Will never shop at Teppermans again nor purchase a GE appliance, which included moffat which is their cheaper brand. Worst experience ever.

From beggining to end of delivery service was wonderful. Sales rep Leo and the delivery crew were most curtious, professional and proficient. I must say so far my first purchase from Tepperman's has been very positive.

I am disgusted. Brought a bed. Built it. Parts missing. Have contacted the company over 7 times over the last 4 months, and just get told "We will contact you with an update"..Well...They don't. I end up having to contact them Again and Again, and get told the same thing. Do not shop here people. They will take your money, and give you an item that is 80% complete. *23RD FEB 2023 EDIT* - Great. My booking number I believe was 984495410/Name:GOODACRE - The Item number is B4056-54F. This goes back to early November 2022. I look forward to hearing what refund you will be providing us with.

We bought a recline couch in late December 2021, by October 2022 there was something seriously wrong, service came within a week and quickly diagnosed a broken part. They ordered the part and said could be 6 weeks. Fair enough. Now it is February 2023 and I am still stuck with a broken couch. Customer service had nothing to offer but to wait for the part from China, now they say it is a minimum of 12 weeks, so no expected date. They offer no other recourse. I asked for a store credit or exchange so that I could have working furniture but they said no, my warranty is only good for a repair. Disappointing since I feel my business was not appreciated and future business was not encouraged in any way. They say it is family run but that doesn’t seem to affect their business practices. Options for broken furniture in a timely and kind fashion would be appreciated. Buyer beware for Teppermans customers.

We paid in full for a bedroom set and mattress. The driver refused delivery because it had snowed 1cm and he claimed my driveway was a sheet of ice. My husband got out a shovel to show him it was all snow. Teppermans website states only your walkway needs to be clear which was. Although my driveway was apparently unsafe he had no problem driving on our lawn and our neighbors lawn leaving ruts we will have to pay to repair. There was just as much snow on the lawn as my driveway. Despite the damage to my property I am currently back at the bottom of the delivery list and no one can tell me if I'll get any reimbursement for the damage to my property, why it was safe to drive on my lawn but not my driveway, why it's acceptable to refuse a delivery due to a small amount of snow in Canada. Customer service is clearly not a priority unless you are in the store about to purchase something. They also refused to cover the cost of a Uhaul for us to pick up our furniture ourselves, nothing to make up for all the time my husband took off work and that we spent getting our home ready for the delivery. I've been told they can refuse delivery over a dusting of snow which means this process will likely repeat itself multiple times and no one at Teppermans actually cares because you have my money and that's clearly all you do care about.

Horrible customer!!! I bought a product online and it came out wrong colours and they didn’t care and they blame. Customer service was rude and insulting! And she said they don’t have return policy before you buy anything from this company think again!!! The original invoice does not include the color. I have this and I stated this to your customer care team. I took a screen shot of your website with the product displaying a black chair which your staff confirms is black. They said the description of the product color said grey. I asked them to show me where they see this and they said they can’t because the product has been taken down…if the product has been taken down then how do they know it said grey especially when the picture is black. Once I picked up my product I did not confirm the color of the chair as I have a screen shot of it being black and there was no options to choose different colors when I purchased it. That invoice provided to me when I picked up the chair said grey. When I reviewed it when I got home I quickly called teppermans. My table is black I would never have chose grey and I would have noticed if I did.

I would give Zero star - we order two 3 seater couches for our new home from Kitchener store. I got delivered one couch with bottom ripe off and bottom of the wood got hard hit and can see the damage clearly. Phots are taken by delivery guys and communicated to customer service. I was told from customer service, they will do analysis and get back to me. I was hoping to get replaced with new item, but i was told to get repaired by technician. Sad part is they DON'T HAVE RETURN policy. I was not expecting for return as i like product - but needs replacement instead of Repair as i purchased brand new - not the used or damaged one. This is totally unethical as every other store offer new item if it is their mistake. I WOULD NEVER EVER GO TO TEPPERMAN'S AND NOT SUGGEST ANYONE TO GO THERE.

We purchased a lift chair for my mobility-challenged elderly mother and purchased the best warranty, knowing how dependent my mother would be on this chair. When the wire leading to her remote became loose and it stopped working at the end of August, I called to request a repair or replacement remote. It is now almost mid December and the chair is still not fixed. I've been given several excuses for this without a resolution. This is after several emails to the repair people and Tepperman's, one visit from the repairman (a month after requesting it, and only after calling and asking why a repairman wasn't sent out), and phone calls. We've since purchased a 2nd chair and warranty as we wait for this chair to be fixed. Tepperman's eventually said they'd look into it and get back to me, but after 3 weeks of waiting with no response, I called again. They said they never heard back from the repair people and yet didn't follow up on my behalf, leaving me waiting without answers. This time, Tepperman's basically told me they 'don't own the warranty' so they aren't responsible for the problems, DESPITE THEM TAKING OUR MONEY for the chair and warranty. Twice! We were NEVER told that we'd have to deal with repair people instead of Tepperman's when the chairs and warranties were originally purchased. BOTTOM LINE: TEPPERMAN'S DOESN'T SEEM TO BACK UP THEIR WARRANTY AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. They even apologized for the trouble MY repair company is causing me, taking no ownership of this fiasco. The warranty has turned out to be useless to us so far! I would never recommend paying extra for a warranty from Tepperman's, and I would personally think twice before I gave them any more of my business. EDITED: You have been 'looking into this' for approximately 5 weeks now, after I called your store twice. The chair still has not been fixed!!! Not sure giving you my name a third time will help, and I'm not comfortable posting my name for the public to see.

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a Springwall mattress from the Chatham store in 2021. I had zero in store assistance from a sales person until I went to pay for the mattress. I was told absolutely nothing about warranty restrictions which would have been followed if I was aware of them. Less than a year later the mattress is sagging and when I contacted the store for warranty service they refused to help me claiming the mattress was stained. The sag is now over 4 inches deep and I am out the $500 I spent on the mattress that is a piece of garbage because the WHITE cover isn’t pristine when it is the interior that has failed seriously. The outside matters more than the interior to teppermans. This is like not honouring a car engine warranty because there is a chip in the paint. I find it appalling how a company can essentially scam customers based on the outside of a product when the inside has failed badly. I am a disabled person who has a spine injury and this mattress is causing me a lot of unneeded pain. Management could have resolved this issue and written off the mattress but customer satisfaction means nothing to them nor does doing the right thing. If I could post photos of the mattress and the horrible sag I would. I have since borrowed money and bought a new mattress from another business that was wonderful to deal with even though I really couldn’t afford the expense. I would just like my money back to help offset this expense. Edit: this is a reply to Teppermans Response. This is still on your company for not telling the customer of the warranty restrictions at the time of purchase. It shows how inattentive your sales people are to the customer and their needs. It also does not fix the fact that this mattress has failed epically!! The sag is now over 4 Inches deep!! and my pain levels from my spine injury are unbearable. I also find it a bit nervy that you offer to sell me a mattress protector for a defective mattress that is going into the trash where it belongs. How about your company swallows its pride and refunds my money. Surely $517 isn’t going to bankrupt you?

This has been the worst furniture purchase experience I have ever had. If I could give a no stars, I would. I purchased an adjustable base and a frame to go around it. Delivery was set but once they unpacked the base the motors were not preassembled. This crew did not know how to do it so only set up without the motors. Customer Service did call me and said that another would be delivered and they would make sure that the motors were installed before being delivered. The next crew came but with only a tool box. They said that they were told that I only needed an adjustment on the height. So another call from customer service, another crew and another week without a base that works. I called the manager at the store and was told that he would make sure my concerns were taken care of and he would call back at the end of the day to confirm that I was satisfied with their progress. He also said that he has more leeway with compensation so to reach back out to him to settle. I did not receive that call and any messages I left have not been returned either. So, the third crew came who started to install the motors. They couldn't finish the job because there is a part missing from the package. I've have enough so the base is going back. In a few days I will not have a bed to sleep on and am now trying to find a replacement quickly. I live in a small town so going out shopping is not as easy. I may be sleeping on my couch in the meantime. I have called the manager a number of times and left priority messages but not once has been returned. This also includes any compensation agreement. The charge is now showing up on my credit card but no credit from Tepperman's yet. Secondly, the frame that I purchased as two legs which are damaged. The material that is wrapped around the legs is ripped so you can see the wood coming through. I explained the damage to Customer Service who then said "You purchased the floor model". NO ONE told me they were delivering the floor model. I will NEVER shop at Tepperman's again!!!!

It’s taken a couple of months for me to write this. I purchased over $10,000 of kitchen appliances from Teppermans. Bought them months ago but the renovation wasn’t completed until a month ago. All the appliances were fine except the vent hood. It was still in its packaging from the store & the electrician found that there were parts missing. I contacted Teppermans for the missing pieces. But because it was a floor model they declined all responsibility. They did give me the manufacturer number. I connected w them, send pictures and NO ONLY were there missing parts but the unit itself was broken. I explain that Teppermans felt they had no responsibility - horrified, the manufacturer emailed Teppermans to complain on my behalf. Teppermans responded by offering 1/2 the cost of the missing and broken parts but no coverage for the repairs. That would still be more than what the unit would have been at full price. So I have to question if this the way all floor models at Teppermans are, broken and incomplete, because they seem really comfortable doing this. Is this why they were selling it as a floor model??? Did the sale person know and was ok with it? I purchased from Teppermans because I thought as a family business, they would be respectful of their customers. But that is not the case as this is how they treat a disabled senior. I will never recommend them to anyone and indeed, I advised all to go elsewhere. Update: outside of an email saying they would look into this, no other contact has happened. Not surprised. Teresa Barry

Teppermans, as a loyal customer for over 30 years the time has come to part ways.. The customer service I have received in the last few months is totally unacceptable. The issues I have had over the last 2 years on a purchase I made has left me extremely frustrated. I had bought the extended warranty on a sofa. After a year I contacted Zuccora to have a a claim started. After two years I was still waiting for the cushions to be taken care of. Teppermans. The entire issue with Zuccora waa a nightmare. Teppermans did come to the rescue and a agreement with Zuccora was made that I would receive a new sofa instead. Lesson learned that I will never get a warranty with Zuccora again. I finally ordered a new sofa on June 8th of this year. I chose this sofa as it was an instock item. I explained at the time I needed to have the sofa delivered before September and was assured it would be here in August at the latest. As August approached I called your store in London only to be told the item was not in stock and no idea when it will be delivered. I was in shock. I went to the Sarnia store and spoke with a few people and they determined that they did infact have the sofa at the Windsor store and could have it delivered to the London Store within a week so it could be delivered to my home the following week. When the following week arrived I contacted the store only to be told it would not be delivered until Sept 21. This is the time period I told Teppermans all along I could not be available for. The Customer Care dept ( they don’t really care though) said they understand my issue but would not deliver my sofa before Sept 21. Infact the manager of this area hung up on me when I refused to budge on the issue that I wanted to my sofa delivered as promised Had the staff there moved the sofa to London when I purchased it I would have hoped I would have avoided this mess. IF Teppermans really cared they would have found a way to have it delivered as promised. I will not be back to Teppermans in the future as they do not understand good honest principles. It can take years to build a good customer relationship and seconds to destroy it. Way to go Teppermans you failed.

If you can avoid Tepperman's please do. I wish I had read these reviews and the reviews on yelp before my mom bought a bedroom set from them. The Chester drawer was damaged upon delivery as soon as the delivery guy removed the plastic the top drawer fell to the ground and broke (the floor is fully carpeted). The delivery guy told Tepperman that the customer pull out the draw and it fell. This was a blatant lie because non of us touched anything as the men were still working. Anyway Tepperman said they would replace the drawer but I asked that they replace the whole chest instead of just the one draw. The replacement came about a week later and it was even worse then the first one with the drawer issue. The back of the Chester drawer was very tacky with alot of staples used in a hurry. I could have done a better job. Pictures are below. Then the bed was not connected properly or the screws were not staying in. They promised to replace it but I doubt the replacement will be any better. This is not giving me an option to add pictures.

If you need a new Mattress, Appliances, Electronics, or Furniture, take the time to visit Tepperman’s - a hard-working family-owned business that supports children in our communities!

If I could leave zero stars I would. My family have been loyal Tepperman's customers for years and spent tens of thousands of dollars on appliances and furniture for new homes, but now we will never be supporting Tepperman's again. My husband and I just moved into a new build home and ordered $12k worth of appliances from this store. The house wasn't finished yet so appliances had to be dropped off in a room in the house. The delivery guys were young, inexperienced and unprepared, and didn't even have the proper tools to move our fridge and wash tower. We offered them our own dollies but they refused. They dragged our appliances through the house on our brand new floor which was still dirty from workers, and left ginormous scratches through our entire house. They didn't even unbox them, but we still got charged a $90 set up fee which Tepperman's wouldn't even refund to us. The guys then pressured us into signing a no damage waiver quickly without any explanation of what our rights were or what the rules were, and took off. We were not allowed in our house yet and had to leave. A few days later the house was cleaned and the painters were out, and we saw the huge scratches. We reached out to Tepperman's for support, hoping they would send someone to look at it, but they refused to help in any way and were super rude about the whole situation. After spending so much money in that store, you would expect even a small amount of care for their customers, but they have none. Everyone be aware that they send completely unqualified delivery people without proper tools, and they will destroy your home and not care at all. ZERO empathy on the phone for our situation. I am absolutely disgusted with Tepperman's, and my entire family and I will never give them one cent of our money again. I hope you know you have lost a lot of really great customers who used to love your store!!!! BUYERS BEWARE! They have nice things but so do a million other stores who actually care about their customers!! If you don't want damaged appliances and floors, go somewhere else!
