Overall we are very pleased with the purchase of our Palmerston shed. From the initial purchase through to the final installation all went smoothly. John & Anna were very helpful in the purchase and the logistics of the shed delivery and installation. The installers did a superb job and were very friendly and obviously care about their work. My only criticism would be that l was surprised that the door lacked any type of weatherstripping. This aside I would highly recommend Summerwood products and their staff. Dieter Smythe

I did a lot of research about shed companies before I noticed a beautiful one in my neighbourhood that I started walking by regularly, I finally got up the courage to knock on the door to ask about it and the homeowners were ecstatic about giving me a tour of their beautiful building inside and out, and raved about the high quality and process of getting it assembled on site. Their review of what turned out to be a Summerwood was so high and so strong that I followed suit shortly after. I got my Sarawak on sale, John walked me through the selection process, and was even still warm and friendly when I made several cosmetic changes! Summerwood referred me to a lovely small company to install my concrete pad too. Summerwood kept me well informed when the October weather wouldn't cooperate and the original delivery date had to be set back, but when production did happen, it was professional and my garden wan't impacted at all. Summerwood even stayed with me on the phone while I was sourcing the stain. I've now had my shed installed for almost a year. It complements my back deck beautifully; and 10'X5' is spacious enough to store two bikes, lots of outside furniture, gardening equipment, and countless seasonal and other items and still have exceptionally convenient access. Most importantly it is completely raccoon free and water proof - which my previous shed wasn't and so I avoided going in it. These days when I go into my Sarawak, its so perfectly lovely that I wish I had enough property to put in a Home Studio instead!

We got great help to customize our kit so we could build just what we wanted. Our single car garage looks more like a cottage, and gets lots of compliments.

Summerwood experience was outstanding from start to finish. From product selection, ordering, product review, build confirmation & final delivery, everything was handled so professionally. Build the pre- assembled Bala Bunkie with my wife over 4 weekends and the level of preparation and detail provided by Summerwood left nothing to chance. And the final product is impressive to say the least. I had a contractor come in to shingle the roof and he commented that they were impressed with how clean the build was. I highly recommend Summerwood if you are looking for a beautiful and well built outdoor product.

I am thrilled with my new Copper Creek shed and the install was extremely efficient. Ian and Justin were so organised and tidy. It was magical seeing how quickly they proceeded.

Summerwood was great to work with. I loved the kit and the quality of the wood was really good. Their customer service is great. Everyone was very kind and helpful to me on the phone and went way beyond 100% to answer my questions and help me out. We ordered a Balabunkie design but in a 14' size and there were some challenges with the instructions, as some things were still designed for the 10' version. However, it went up fairly quickly and it turned out fabulously and I am totally happy with the company and their product. I am getting a lot of wonderful comments on my BalaBunkie. I made it into an addition to my house and finished the interior and added a kitchenette. It is darling. Drywalling and trimming a small space with so many angles was very difficult but I had professional help and am very pleased with the results. It is a great design, a good product, and a wonderful company!

We are extremely pleased with our Bala Bunkie. It's above and beyond other products we considered and we are very happy with our choice. John and the team at Summerwood provided us with excellent, professional service throughout and I would highly recommend their products. I look forward to dealing with them again when it comes time for our next cottage project.

Service was very good and helpful in the beginning. However, there were some major mistakes in my order which I brought to their attention but they did nothing to correct their mistake. As a USA customer dealing with a Canadian company I was disappointed in their unwillingness to rectify their construction mistake. Their construction mistake cost me an additional $4,450.

I purchased a shed from Summerwood over 20 years ago which is still in excellent condition except for the flower boxes. With constantly planting and watering they were worse for wear over the years,I went to Summerwood and they looked after me to my satisfaction.I find them a company easy to deal with that stands behind their products.

We used Summerwood to build our cabin and we're very happy with the quality of service and quality of product we received. I strongly recommend them.

We are extremely pleased with our new gazebo. The process from the beginning in selecting the design, through the engineering drawings and approval by the township was fairly straightforward. Once construction commenced it went very well. We were especially pleased with the installers who did an excellent job. This is our third summerwood building on our property and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

The only company I’ve ever dealt with regarding renovations or home improvements with whom I was 100% satisfied. The service was exceptional and the product is even better.

I adore my new backyard studio! The cost seemed high, but chose Summerwood after doing my homework. The studio met my criteria for a high quality structure, made with natural products as I cant tolerate the chemicals infused in prefab sheds. Summerwood was well worth the investment and half the price of the quote I received for the same size addition to the back of my home. Keep In mind additional costs as I wanted a 4 season structure; so added a concrete pad, weather proofing membrane, electrical, interior insulation and finishing. Probably double the original quote when factoring everything else in. Well worth it!

I really like my shed. I'd give them 5 stars except that some of their website info seems conflicting or confusing with what is possible. So use the website as a starting point, but meet with them, ask lots of questions. These folks know what they are doing.

We considered getting a backyard bunkie for a couple years- had been in contact with several knowledgeable Summerwood reps, and always got the answers we needed to make decision. We're even clued into buying our project during Black Friday to save $$$ All was handled in professional and w got what we ordered, as promised Love having the 10 x10 cabin in our backyard 24 yr old 'boomerang' son, currently living in it!
