This year, we ordered a pool bar design from Summerwood. The end result is even better than we could of imagined - the beautiful cedar really pops against the dark blue walls and we absolutely love the bar windows. We set up a tv inside and have enjoyed watching it sitting at the bar. After many years of researching various companies, we are so very happy that we went with Summerwood. The quality is outstanding and we are so thrilled with our purchase!

We were thoroughly impressed with our experience in the planning and installation of our Summerwood Montcrest garage. In particular, John Hickey was very helpful, personable, responsive, and professional throughout the design process. The installation crew was also great to work with and the craftsmanship is top notch. We've had so many compliments so far. I would highly recommend a pre-fab structure as it was much easier than a custom build.

We completed our pre-assembled Catalina garden shed and we think it looks pretty good. We are very happy with the end product. As for as our overall experience with Summerwood is concerned, we were quite pleased: • Throughout the whole process, everyone we dealt with was friendly, responsive, and helpful. • After some discussion on the delivery date, the kit was delivered to us on time and without any problems. • The assembly instructions were clear and comprehensive for the most part, and Summerwood staff promptly responded to any questions we had. • The pre-assembled portion of the project went together flawlessly, and we installed the base, the five walls, and roof framing in two days, which we thought was pretty good. • The roof itself proved to be more difficult and time consuming than we thought. However, once we got into the “swing of it”, we progressed at a reasonable pace. • After the roof and shingling was completed, everything else (trim, windows, door) was easily installed with no issues.

We bought one of Summerwood's larger potting sheds back in 2006, 15 years ago. Love it - it's big enough for me to have my woodworking workshop at one end. After 15 years, some siding needed replacing. Maya at Summerwood was wonderful to work with - very professional and helpful, despite the fact that this was a rather small order. This is an excellent outfit with a fine product and staff that go out of their way.

The quality of the supplies and materials were excellent, the communication from the team for our delivery date and supporting us through the build was timely and helpful, and when there were a few hiccups along the way, the team there truly went above and beyond to help us out. We love our Verana Shed (we call it the Pool House) and are excited to finish the inside, and make it a true 3-season living space for our family.

I purchased a Summerwood garden/pool shed in 1989. I absolutely love it! This year I had to replace a window box. I spoke with both Maya and John who were extremely helpful. John carried the window box out to my car, along with a variety of different sizes of screws and supports for all three window boxes - so that they would all match!! We are very pleased with the sales process, ongoing communication of our order and delivery details. The order arrived at our cottage on time and was constructed by a local contractor. Myself and the contractor were very complimentary on the quality of materials, instructions and ease of construction of the Bunkie. Would have no hesitation in using Summerwood for another project and have already talked to neighbours and friends about the quality of the Summerwood units. We look forward to many years of enjoyment of our Summerwood Bunkie!

Thanks to Summerwood for providing an awesome product and detailed guidance in building a great outdoor space. We opted for the precut, 11ft Monterey gazebo with a screen kit, and then added our own asphalt shingles. With limited building experience my wife and I were able to assemble a gorgeous addition to our property. Whenever we had questions, the staff at Summerwood provided key answers and suggestions that were significant in ensuring a great look. Some of these suggestions could be added to the installation guides (e.g., using 7/16 inch OSB sheathing over the cedar roof boards to prevent roof nails from penetrating thru the ceiling). We stained assembled sections as we went and found that more manageable than staining individual pieces or the whole assembled building. Key tool suggestions: Trigger clamps and an impact driver!

I really enjoyed putting together this kit, I had help from my son and future son in law. The assembly was well put together and final product looks amazing! Lots of compliments from everyone who has had the pleasure of seeing it.

Quality materials, quality workmanship, quality people. On time, courteous, responsive, patient. If you want more from a supplier/manufacturer, you are on the wrong planet!

I was referee by a friend as I wanted a a good looking shed customized to my particulars needs and wants. I live in BC and it seemed crazy to ship the kits from Ontario but I am so glad I did. I got the shed/ studio I wanted and more. I got great help in the design with helpful suggestions (such as a long bar window and extra height). I love my new art studio and get so many complements on it. All the wood pieces sent ( across the country to an island) were straight and high quality so I have a solid beautiful studio — exactly what I wanted. All the timelines were met and the staff wonderful to work with from design to shipping. Highly recommend working with Summerwood

San Cristobal is excellent product, using very substantial materials and well designed. Beautiful when built - I have had many compliments. Very responsive customer service. Spare components supplied were very useful since we made many mistakes in assembling. It's not cheap. And the semi-assembled version cost around $12K to erect, including concrete footings. Instructions (manual, video) are extensive but still NOWHERE near enough. Many components arrive unidentified, many names on the packing list are non-obvious, and we puzzled for hours over what goes where. This should be easily fixed, Summerwood! In addition, our shipment arrived with numerous items damaged in transit, causing delays to get re-sent or try to source locally (mostly impossible). Summerwood helped us through these issues but they were long and many. In a couple of cases the design/fit was not perfect and we had to adapt it: the 8 roof sections could not be made to fit and edges had to be hand-trimmed. Doors with jambs were oversized for the available opening and had to be adapted.

We have been dealing with Summerwood Products for over 10 years and continue to be impressed. When I needed new flower boxes for our cabana, I received prompt and excellent customer service from Maya (Logistics Coordinator). I would highly recommend this company!

Rarely does a major project like this meet or exceed expectations. Happily, my new Summerwood custom Oban studio is even better than I imagined. The best corner office ever. We purchased a cabana from Summerwood 18 years ago and it is one of the best decisions we ever made. We were putting in a patio at the time and the cabana took centre stage. Over the years we have had numerous compliments about it. Nowadays it is a pleasure to deal with such a professional company who go out of their way to help you and who have been in business for a long time. I have just had an exceptionally positive customer experience from Maya at Summerwood. I called last week looking for a Summerwood accessory that wasn't available. Maya took my call and promised to get back to me with availability information. True to her word she responded this week and let me know that the product was now ready to be picked up.
