Excellent quality and looks! The design team was very helpful with coming up with a pier mounting system that was engineered well. Directions were straight forward and easy to follow. Note that nails are included in a precut kit but a siding nailer works really well. Greatly appreciate the extra materials, siding, that came with the kit. I used it to finish up the trim on a special pier mount design I had to use.

I was a bit skeptical about spending this amount of money based on a website, photos and reviews. I took a chance. Right out the gate, customer service was excellent. The ordering process was smooth and efficient. The product delivered was as ordered, and as high of quality as I had hoped. Take the chance. Summerwood won't disappoint!

Our family was looking for a high quality cabin that would last forever. We looked at many different companies and nothing appeared to have the same build quality of Summerwood. So we began with our first meeting at the showroom and right away their professional staff and show floor examples were outstanding. We picked our unit, made some custom changes along the way and had their designers and engineers approve everything. This is a large commitment for us as we want this as a 4 season cabin and we could not be more confident in our decision.

I built my first Summerwood 7'X14' Palmerston garden shed back in 1996. After moving to another house I built the same 7'X14' Palmerston garden shed in 2004. Friends and family that came into the backyard would always comment on how great the shed looked and it was a focal point in the yard and blended well with our gardens. I love summerwood!

I looked for a long time for the right type of structure for a garden patio. When I landed on Summerwood and saw all their various models and the ability to design my own kit, I knew I'd found the right place. The model I selected was "Urban Studio" I liked the fact that I could order the kit as either pre cut lumber only, or as a partially assembled structure, I chose the latter. I also liked it that I could order it to my exact design (size, windows & doors, siding, colors, roof type, etc.) The day it was delivered I was a bit surprised at how much material there actually was and the space it took up - be prepared for that. Since I'd ordered a partially assembled product, some of the parts were large and heavy. Have a couple friends on hand to help with the offloading. It took up most of my driveway space. The materials in the kit are of a high quality. I had a couple friends help me with framing, assembly, door & window installation, roof and siding and both of them work in the building trades. The overall assembly took about a week. This was more than a simple weekend project for a DIY'er. The kit came with plenty of instructions, although I did have a couple questions along the way and I both e-mailed and called summerwood and they were very helpful & timely in answering my questions. The kit also had all of the materials required for full assembly, and even some extra in case a goof up happened along the way. I wired it for electricity and trimmed out the interior on my own. It all turned out great and it is a very nice addition to my back yard garden.

We had ordered the Alpine model garage but had it modified so we could install a car lift. We also had a barn dormer installed which added lots of room in the loft. Summerwood was great to deal with! Their pre-assembled kit arrived in perfect order and was put up quickly and efficiently! I would recommend Summerwood to anyone looking for a great looking and well built garage!

We ordered and received 3 Summerwood buildings, all wrapped and delivered with care. I guess if I could make 1 suggestion, it would be to mark on the outside, what pieces are on the inside. But, when it came time to unwrap and start building, EVERYTHING was in it's place and then some (extra wood even). They are beautifully designed and we couldn't be happier !!! Everything was handled professionally and in a timely manor. The design is great and was easy enough to build. The pre assembled kit came expertly wrapped and remained dry while it rained waiting for me to start the project. My only complaint would be that the canexal black nails were very rubbery and had a lot of kick back to them taking flight! Wear you safety glasses! It is a great product and I would buy again. I purchased a Canmore 14x14 kit from Summerwood. It was an amazing project. The support team was amazing and answered every installation or drawing question quickly and with great concern for my understanding. Extremely happy with our new Archer garage. From the start, the design team was happy to accommodate some customizations that were required to match heritage features of our home. There were no issues with permit approval either. During the build, the inspector regularly commented on the quality of materials and craftsmanship. We would have no hesitation about purchasing another structure from Summerwood.

We purchased our Summerwood cabin in about 2008 when our daughters were 14 and 11. We call it the "back house" and after many giggly sleepovers, and it becoming our TV room, our neighbors crowding it for Super Bowls - etc. we could not be more pleased. I'm writing today because after all this time, there was settling of the soil and we need a repair. I received two very pleasant responses ON A SATURDAY! Nuff said!!

My family and I are once again in the process of having another swimming pool built. Part of this build included Summerwood for a Cabana. We dealt with John Hickey their head designer who was curtious and patient while we went through numerous alterations and tweaks. I come from a business where the hallmark of a great company is its customer service. It’s refreshing to find a business and a person who reflects a concept I hold so dear. ....first class! The Summerwood experience for us was excellent . We designed what we needed with their well informed sales person and the delivery was prompt and efficient starting at 7:30 in the am and ending by 4:30 . They even upgraded the build with some of my supplied material including wire below and tar paper on the roof . Very nice crew . I've turned it into a woodworking shop with custom built tables and benches and added heaters and full electrical services and have built 4 bedroom dressers and clothes cupboards for the bedroom , built a wood bin next to it and various other projects in the three years we've had it & it's my "Man Cave " to just sit back and listen to some tunes outside of the house . The quality of the materials and workmanship exceeded my expectations. Under the weather conditions (snowing) the job was completed ahead of my schedule.

We are very happy with our new Boat house. It will be a little outdoor cottage. The design is beautiful and it looks very nice from the outside. The inside is easy to decorate and it smells like new wood. The planning, service and delivery worked out extremely well. The carpenters that put it together were nice people and genuinely interested in pleasing the customer. I recommended Summerwood Products to many of my friends. Big success and people friendly.
