Kenny and Raun were super fantastic! I cannot rave enough. I was so confused and unsure about my project and it turned out wonderful. The wrong color posts were originally sent but they very quickly corrected the problem and sent out the correct ones. I LOVE MY STAIRS!
Ordered $2200 worth of cable fasteners. My stair installation guy told me to get the wrong item, so I need to return it all. Unopened boxes and they charge me a 15% restocking fee. Plus I had to pay for the shipping. I won’t use them again!!
Second Time Customers This is our second time ordering railings with Stair Supplies. The first time was our interior stairway. We replaced railings on a 1979 home with floating stairs. It was a very difficult job due to the nature of the stairs and the curves but the end product is fabulous. We went back to Stair Supplies because of the excellent service and the quality of the product to redo the railings on the front and rear decks. Our house is on a lake and the old wood railings were blocking the view plus were not to current code. The sales rep immediately processed the request, worked through our concerns of the angles on the deck and made it all happen for us. The customer service is without a doubt the best that I have experienced for any on line vendor. We relied on the reviews when choosing Stair Supplies to help us so we wanted to share so others will know... this is a great company with an outstanding product!
Got the order just in time
All the pieces I ordered came in one package. My order was for extra parts I needed to complete my job. The website search feature allowed me to find the exact parts instead of ordering a kit which had other parts that I already purchased. Items received in 4 business days.

Purchased solid iron balusters to replace existing wood balusters. Excellent product at fair prices - I did get them during a Father’s Day sale, so they were cheaper than normal, but I’ve been back to the site numerous times and noticed comparable sales. So check for that. Balusters are beautiful and high quality. Shipping was fast (from Indiana to missiouri), and product was packaged nicely for protection during transit. I have some experience with home improvement projects, but none in this area. They guide they provided on their site was comprehensive and helpful. The design tool on the website allowed me to try out various patterns and see the visual effect prior to purchasing. Used this to accurately gauge exactly what I needed and had no wasted pieces in the end (probably would have been smart to buy 1 or 2 extra pieces in case I miscut, but fortunately did not come to that). Only caution I would have for someone else is to be sure you have adequate equipment (i.e., 10 or 15 amp chop saw with metal cutting disc) if you are going to be working with the solid iron. Hollow should be easier to cut with less powerful tools (hack saw, reciprocating saw).
Just received my 3 samples of wood handrail material within a week of my order. They are all so beautiful, the wood grain is flawless. Can't wait to order and install the real handrails once I decide which product goes best in my home. So glad I found this company on-line.
