I love the products but find the time that it took was a bit long 4 weeks for the delivery after I place and order needs to be shorter. has me rethinking future orders.

Ordered railing for my house, company bent over backwards to make the sale. I ordered, paid and was told that production was on time and given a shipment date. That date came and I did not receive any information on the shipping. So I emailed customer service and did not receive a response. Then I called and spoke to Ron who told me that he thought it would ship first thing the next morning and that he would contact me with the information. I did not hear anything from him so I called again and spoke to Rob. Rob told me it was shipping that day and that I would receive tracking information between 4 - 6 PM. I then received an email from Lynn who told me that the order was packed and sitting in the shipping department. At 6 PM, still no shipping tracking number or information about when my order will ship. I assume it will ship the following Monday now and I've had to cancel my Vacation to wait on an order that was already supposed to have shipped. If you say you are going to contact me and then don't contact me, I'M Automatically MAD. That is just poor customer service. On Monday I called again and was told my order did ship but no one emailed info as I had been told they would. Order arrived next day in good condition. Upon inspection they had sent two extra guardrail brackets and no hinges for my gate. I called again and was told they would check on problem and I asked them to email me about their solution. Didnt receive any email, but to my surprise the hinges were delivered to my house the next morning. I gave them 4 stars because the railing is of high quality and looks great. My advice is to ask for same customer service rep every time to try and avoid some confusion, having said that they have poor follow up from their customer service. Also make sure you have a competent carpenter for install as their instructions online are very limited. I have 31 yrs in construction and was able to install myself but had to fill in alot of blanks in instructions.

Their website is very easy to navigate, making the item selection and order process very straight forward and simple. They have a great selection of stair rails and products....at the best price. Products have always shipped on time....and arrived on time. I highly recommend them to any homeowner / contractor....

The part was fine and correct. it cost 7 dollars. shipping was 27.50 don't live close enough to pickup. got to do what you need to do !

Poor follow up customer service.

We ordered the gothic wrought iron spindles for our new stair case, on arrival they were all damaged and chipped, we contacted Stair supplies via email to see if they would exchange/compensate but they didn't respond to emails, cost us an extra £400 to get them sand blasted and re powder coated, very disappointed

The materials were fine, but the wrong parts were sent. Then the wrong number. Then the correct order was sent, but not on time. Take away - they made me look like a knucklehead in front of my client. Not good for business!

Stair supplies had the items we wanted that weren't available locally. Our box newels arrived damaged and while we received a 10% discount it really didn't concert the cost of reconstructing certain parts and without a great trim Carpenter it would have set our project back weeks to get items remade. Communication was great and they combined shipments of various orders so it all arrived together. Ok

This was a first time experience with a cable railing system. Horizontal runs as well as stairway railing. Drawing our diagrams on the website was easy, and working through the process of design and ordering was pleasant. There was one error on a post at a unique transition point, that was taken care of quickly and we didn't lose any install time. We found the sales team to very professional and knowledgeable. We would definitely come back again for stair suppllies.

Stair Supplies has been very helpful and patient in designing a View Rail system for my building. I wanted a system that would stand up in high winds and would always serve as a strong barrier not susceptible to corrosion or rot, due to the height above ground of the roof edge where I installed it. Although this was a relatively small job compared to many they do, they worked with me over an extended period of time to make sure that the system delivered would be exactly right for my application. This included making design modifications to ensure that I would be able to install the materials easily the first time, which has been my experience with the kit they sent.
