I purchased an Enya feather tennor ukulele, it’s amazing. The service from southern ukulele was amazing. They contacted me within 24 hours of my order to let me know the one they had in stock had failed their qa checks. The replacement was with me in less than a week. Southern ukulele also set the uke up for you, if you are new to ukes having the shop set the action up really does make for a better experience. When the wife lets me have another ukulele southern uke will be my first stop Thanks guys the added value your service gives is priceless

As I write this I’m 5 1/2 months in to my Ukulele journey and from the moment I picked up my first Uke I was totally hooked. I decided now was the right time to invest in a good quality Ukulele and with so many makers out there trying to choose which one is mind blowing. So first set a budget and then watching hours of southern ukulele store reviews. Once I had a short list of One (very short list) I emailed Southern Ukulele Store with my list of questions. The reply was very informative which back up my choice. But unfortunately out of stock!! But more were due in the next week. True to there word they mailed to say they had arrive whilst they were unpacking the shipment. I called and spoke to Alex and within 15 minutes I had pictures of the available stock. Choice was made and paid for on Wednesday,set up Thursday morning and shipped out, arrived Friday (today) by 11am. What a phenomenal Ukulele the Flight Fireball is and so very happy. I cannot recommend these guys enough from there knowledge, their rapid communication and ultra rapid delivery. I will not buy from anyone else after the service I receive. First class in every respect

This time I bought a ukulele that wouldn’t be too precious, a Flight Diana TE for socials/gigging/pubs so I took a chance and bought online. It arrived the next day in pristine condition and beautifully set up. The instrument was reduced in price and must be one of the best bargains in the store, it plays great acoustically and plugged in and looks flawless.Well pleased.

have just purchased a used Enya EUT-M6 from SUS. I phoned for information before deciding to buy and was given a very honest assessment of the Ukeleles condition and help on selecting a gigbag to fit as the headstock on the Enya is quite long. The website description mentioned a lot of scratches on the body and as this waas hard to photograph this was stressed to me on the phone. Placed my order as this was an opportunity to purchase an instrument that would be over my budget normally. Received next day and I can only say it exceeded my expectations greatly! An amazing deal from an amazing company. In addition I was phoned prior to their sending ou my order to say that the gigbag they said would fit did'nt when they tried it so would I mind if they substituted a it for a better one that did fit with no increase in cost so stood by their their advice. You can't ask more than that As a beginner to the Uke I felt very comfortable with all of my interaction with Rob at SUS and can highly recommend the company. Finally he website and Alex's videos are an excellent source of information

I have just received my new Kanile'a ´D´ series ukulele from SUS and have to praise them for their wonderful service and personal attention. As I was looking for a Left Handed model, they contacted Kanile'a to see if it was a possibility, and after receiving confirmation that they were happy to build me one, I placed my order. I was kept informed throughout the process and finally the Uke arrived at SUS. They then installed the Misi pickup and heal button I wanted to be fitted and set the instrument up to my specs. They then shipped the instrument to me here in Spain FOC and VAT free. I´m absolutely delighted with the instrument, and the service and personal attention received by SUS has been second to none. I ordered a Flight Pathfinder electric ukulele from SUS after reading that they check and set up all of the instruments before despatch. Mine arrived in perfect condition and fully set up. I have just received a Baritone Kala KA SCAC-B from the Southern Ukelele store. I have followed them on YouTube and their videos are very entertaining and informative. I chatted with the guys their over the phone when trying to decide on a uke in my price range. They were very helpful and took the time to explain the ins and outs of particular ukes I was asking about. I was recommended the above instrument and it arrived in perfect condition and the guys had set it up how I'd asked before sending it. If you're looking for decent prices and great customer service then these guys are highly recommended.

This is the first time I have visited the store and I was made welcome and immediately helped by a member of staff. All my requests were met by Alex and all the expensive and cheaper ukes I asked to try in person came. Loved them all the Kanile'a ukes had the most perfect fret boards and necks I have ever felt. I am no expert nor a good player but I purchased a Kanile'a KPAT Premium after trying what seemed like loads of ukes. I had come to try the Pono ukes which also have an amazing finish but the sound from the Kanile'a won and above all the feel and finish. Great experience!!

I have now bought two uke's from SUS. Most recently a Kai KCI - 700, which was delivered within days of my ordering it. Straight out of the box the set-up was wonderful, the action was spot on, the intonation was great and the resonance and sustain of the instrument were fantastic. SUS clearly know their business and are passionate about what they do. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Hi, I just bought a L.Luthier uke from the store. I travelled 3h to get to Bournemouth, but it was worth it. Absolutely professional assistance from the staff (Thx Alex!), very helpful and patient in explaining all the details and answering all the questions you may have. If you want to buy a uke, it's the best place you can go to. Highly recommended!

Just bought second quite pricey uke from here, including part x of the old one. Finding me the right instrument was a bit of a task - they were expert, patient and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Customer service is prompt, personal and really good. I asked loads of stupid questions endlessly and it felt completely fine. Not just for the Professionals. This store sells the best products for the best players so as a lower skilled player I was concerned about approaching them for my first upgrade uke. I need not have worried, they helped me through the large selection in my price range and recommended a perfect fit for me which was a Kala Maca. Supplied very quickly and well packed. I love it.
