Like some others on here I was a little dubious as to how genuine MS Office software could be available at such a low price. How that is achieved I'm still not certain but it does appear genuine! As others have written, you need to pay attention to the procedure to download, install and license it that comes with your purchase. The process involves many series of digits that are quoted and need to be entered. The online registration doesn't seem to work for (m)any so you are guided to call a phone number and register directly with MS. This process works fine but I recommend using the text option you should be offered when calling them. This means a URL is texted to your mobile phone which you then follow (assuming you are on a smartphone) and can enter all of the digits visibly on your phone rather than via the phone call to an automated recipient. It also means when it accepts your input it will display the next lengthy series of digits so they are there visibly on your phone rather than having to write them down. I did have one issue with the original product key I was sent when the MS automated process said it was not a valid product. At this point I thought 'oh dear', but having emailed SoftMall in response to my original order receipt email Paul responded promptly with a different product key which worked fine. Also, like many commenting on here I received a product key for the Pro version, so all in all an absolute bargain even if the registration process is a little tedious.

I was a bit unsure about downloading software like this, especially as the price was so good. But it was a seamless experience. I used the telephone activation method as suggested, but there was an option once on the telephone to do it on a smartphone. The link was texted to me and it was so much easier to type all the references etc in rather than doing it over the phone. Once that was done, the software was activated and has worked perfectly. First class service and great prices.

I had previously purchased the product for another machine, so I knew it worked. Unfortunately this one didn't and I had to complain. I got an instant apology and a new product key which did the trick. Excellent service and still a good product at an amazing price.

I had trouble with the initial code for Microsoft Office and because it was so cheap I thought I’d been conned. One e mail to customer support, a new code and instant success. No cons here, just cheap software and a helpful customer support. I don’t do reviews but I have for this!!

Very good value MS Office package. Slightly nervous about using a company I had never used before. However, everything worked perfectly. The installation instructions were clear and correct, and within a few minutes everything was installed. Would thoroughly recommend.
We had to purchase Microsoft Office for my son to do his home schooling on-line. Microsoft were asking 4 times the amount of SoftMall. I made the purchase, was emailed the link and within a few minutes has Office set up. The activation process was so easy. This is the second time I've purchased from SoftMall and will use again in the future. Can definitely recommend. I've found to register/ activate the software is per telephone even so it's automated it gives clear instructions. When entering the numbers given to input on screen take note or photo, it will make it easier if you need to reinstall it at some point, only if you need to ? Scam!! Shortly after buying a version of office which might I add wouldn’t work, my email was strangely tampered and someone from Russia signed in. When I made the payment to them via PayPal, the name also came up in Russian. Don’t believe in coincidence! This is a 100% a scam and I recommend you all stay away!
