After loosing a custom pair of moulded ear plugs I needed a new pair quite quickly. The previous company were no longer supplying my ones so after trying various places a local audiologist suggested I looked at Snugs website. Living in Taunton, Somerset, Snugs HQ was only 40 minutes drive a way. I found the website very easy to navigate and found the product range extensive. The list of audiologists available to have ear impressions was very extensive, but what clinched it was the fact that I could go the the Snugs HQ for the impressions to be taken. I purchased two products, the SungsShield and the SungsZen. During the impression stage we were aware that my ear canal was a particularly difficult shape and this may impact on the suitability of the product. On arrival of the finished products, one was not fitting to well, and inline with the guarantee, no quibble this was changed for me. I have even purchased some additional filters to help. My experience of Snugs is absolutely fantastic. The two ladies who run the business are amazing. Their customer focus, attention to detail is just first class. You can really tell that they put the customer first and certainly try and help if something does go wrong. I would certainly use them again. Their products are certainly cheaper than my previous custom made ear defenders but I would not say that this has in anyway compromised on the performance. I appreciate every review is subjective, but my experience has been very positive and I am extremely pleased with the positive, professional and clearly passionate way the business is run.

Absolutely excellent product

The snugs fit perfectly and really bring another level to my sound mix when on stage. They are well worth the money have already recommended them to all my band mates.

Good customer service, poor product and slow production / delivery. I ordered a pair of Snugs Moto and it wasn't a great start from the very beginning. I chose Snugs over one of the competitors as in their list of Audiologists it states an opticians in my town does them. However after purchasing the product and calling them up, they informed me they no longer do ear impressions, which is fine as things change, can't expect Snugs to keep up to date with all the other companies, but I emailed them informing them they no longer do ear impressions, been a few months now, no reply to that email and I can see as from today that optician is still listed. So onto the production and delivery, it takes a long time. About 3 weeks, but they do tell you this in the FAQ. When I received mine, one ear was very uncomfortable, a part of it was clearly made slightly too big. I emailed Snugs and their customer service is very good, fast reply asking for pictures and said they would remake them. However, bear in mind I had already waited weeks for this, I would of expected them to put them through as a priority, this was not the case, it was another 3 weeks wait for the replacements. After almost 2 months from the initial order I could finally use my snugs moto, but I was instantly disappointed. The sound quality is absolutely terrible, sounds like the cheap earphones you get from the pound shop, no bass whatsoever and terrible quality in general. Also they don't do a great job in wind noise reduction on a motorcycle (which is why I bought them in the first place). After 30 minutes on the motorway, it feels like I have just left a music concert. I have now installed a Cardo unit in my helmet and using normal ear plugs. Works a millions times better and much improved sound quality.

I use the snugs with my Bose Proflight headset most days.. extremely comfortable and enhances the noise reduction quality of the headset which reduces fatigue and hence aids flight safety. Highly recommended.

Product itself is very good, however it took way too long and some prompting to have it delivered.

Bought the Snugs Aqua filtered version as I am susceptible to ear infections and potential hearing loss and the ability to be able to hear people talking whilst in the pool or at a water park was a big draw. You can definitely hear much better with the filtered version than standard custom ear plugs. However, I went under water on day one of my holiday with my Snugs Aquas in and got water in my ear pretty quickly and now have an ear infection. I’ve found that the ear plugs will stop water going in your ears if you are under water just above the surface, but as soon as you jump in a pool or go under water by more than 1 foot then the ear plugs fail.

Great product have had two pairs for my beats and Bose. They fit very well make my run a lot more easily and enjoyable not the cheapest but well worth the money highly recommend.

I rarely write reviews but for this product I have to say I think it merits it. I have had snugs now possibly 6-7 years for 2 sets of headphones ( currently AirPod Pros ) and they are now an essential. I run and cycle with them and they never fall out. I have the ear defender version now for motorcycling and I can get spatial awareness of traffic etc without the load wind and exhaust noise. Great product , not cheap but as they say the quality will remain long after the price is forgotten - my cost per use is now minuscule !

One Snug didn’t fit properly and was returned. Replacement sent back now more comfortable.
