I'm on my second pair of Snugs now - not because I needed to replace them, but because I wanted more! Customer service is absolutely excellent, and you always know what's going on at every stage of the process. The only thing I'd want to be different is maybe to have a choice between the current soft silicone Snugs and a hard plastic version. I'm used to hard plastic earmoulds and the soft ones that Snugs do feel a bit weird to me sometimes. But they're not uncomfortable, and I don't have any issues putting them in - it's just a minor personal preference thing.

A very personal and professional service. Took a little longer than originally expected but Snugs wanted to make sure the product was right and it was. Excellent service and I whole heartedly recommend them. The sound difference it has mad to my in ear headphones is amazing.

I spent £186 on Snugs custom-fit earphones, but have never been able to wear them because they are extremely uncomfortable. I spent three months trying to communicate with Snugs customer service, and I travelled to London to have full ear impressions made at their recommended audiologists (Hearology). After four attempts Snugs were not able to make a product that fits my ears. They also continued to send me unwanted marketing mail even after I told them that I would not buy from them again. I have included the details of my experience with Snugs below. The earphones first arrived last Christmas and both sides were uncomfortably tight. The right ear pressed hard against the inside of my ear canal, and made the ear sore after a short period of use. The left ear was less tight, but still uncomfortable after a while. In both ears it felt that the snugs intruded very deeply into the ear canal - a horrible feeling. I explained this to customer service and sent them photos so they could see how the Snugs were sitting in the ear. I didn't hear anything back for nearly two weeks, so I contacted them again and they said they'd missed my email. Two weeks later a new pair of Snugs arrived in the post, but these ones were significantly bigger and tighter than the original ones! The new set were painful to wear. I emailed them, waited a week and a half with no reply, and then emailed them again. They told me that another pair had been posted out. This pair arrived on the 13th of February. The left ear was almost wearable, but the right ear was as uncomfortable as the original one I had received. Both ears were much less comfortable than standard earbuds. By this point I had got the impression that Snugs customer service were not listening to my feedback, and it had already been months since I placed the original order. I wrote to them to say I did not feel I had received what was promised, which was "the most comfortable solution for your ear"; Snugs earphones are the least comfortable ones I've ever worn. I asked if they'd be willing to give me at least a partial refund. They refused, but offered to make another pair, so I decided to try again, and sent them this succinct message: "The red one (the right ear) is very very tight inside the ear canal. The blue one (the left ear) is a bit better than before, but also too tight inside the ear canal. Both of them also feel like they go too deep into the ear canal." One month later (in mid March) I received another pair of Snugs that were a slight improvement, but were still too uncomfortable to use and still intruded too deeply into the ear canal. I told them again that their custom-fit earphones were much less comfortable than standard earbuds, and asked again for a refund. They did not answer my question about the refund, and sent another message that showed they were not reading my feedback properly. This time they asked me to send a picture with the new Snugs in my ear showing where they were painful, which didn't make any sense, because I had told them the discomfort was inside the ear canal. At this point I decided to write Snugs off as a bad purchase. I told myself it was a mistake to buy a gimmicky product like Snugs custom-fit earphones. For the last time (on Tuesday 19 March) I wrote to ask if they'd give me *any* partial refund. The following Monday they responded: "I hope you had a good weekend. Unfortunately as they are a custom fit, we do not refund. It can take a few adjustments some times as people have different levels of sensitivity. Please email me another picture so i can see how they look this time." By this point I had spent months chasing their customer service, waiting, and trying adjustments. People may have different levels of sensitivity, but there is a limit to how many times we are willing to ram oversized lumps of quite hard plastic into our ear canals before giving up!

Snugs are lovely. But I have found them difficult to insert and have to use lubricant each time. Once they are in they are really comfortable.

I got myself a pair of Sony WX1000XM3 wireless earphones to replace some Bose QC20 in ear noise cancelling. The noise cancelling is important for me as I fly a lot. Cables are a pain and the Sony's have What Hifi 5* review, so they must be good. But they weren't. I've always struggled with ear buds fitting my ears and the result was the sound was terrible and noise cancelling was non existent with all the supplied tips. I tried some Comply Pro tips which were an upgrade but still wouldn't hold the buds in my ears. So after a lot of research I plumped for the Snugs. Snugs booked an appointment for me to have the impressions for my ears taken at a Hearology centre near Euston Station and about 10 days later, they arrived in the post. Putting them in first time takes a bit of work, but once fitted the result was INCREDIBLE. My Sony's sound better than any in ear headphones I've heard before. Voices are soooo clear and smooth. High notes are crystal, low notes are warm and tight. The noise cancelling and isolation is brilliant. It's insane that just creating a good seal on your ears can deliver such a sound upgrade. Every pair of earphones I buy from now will have custom ear tips. Very happy.

This is the third pair of Snugs I have bought, two pairs for my Shure SE425 IEM and now a pair of Snugs Work Protection ear plugs. Once again the service and advice from Emma and the team have been brilliant. They fit excellently and there's no sound leak whatsoever. I would highly recommend getting a pair of Snugs if you have been thinking about it and even if you haven't!

Very happy with your product and service, but you really need some competition in this market! Having bought myself a super new pair of earphones, I rushed to get another pair of Snugs to fit them - because I'd been so happy with the previous pair. I rushed through the order process as I wanted to get it done at a time when I was very busy. It wasn't until I got the confirmation email that I realised I'd paid _more_ for this second pair than my first one. For any number of reasons, I would have expected it to be less. Still and all, I'm spoilt, middle-class and complaining about a first-world problem... UPDATE 25/02/2020: I stand corrected ... £185.96 for the first pair in September 2018, &177.09 for the second pair in January this year. That's a whole £8.77 less. But just as I said, you need some competition, perhaps from a firm who offer returning customers a better price than opening offers to new purchasers. This is of course just my opinion, which with an extra couple of quid will get you a decent cup of coffee.

No other earphones have ever fitted my ears properly /other headphones causing me annoyance every time I work out the EarPods would just fall out UNTIL I discovered snugs oh myyyyh goodddd these are game changing/ life changing /workout changing /these are everything and more and I can’t express how amazing they are / they fitted perfectly I never ever imagined headphones to be this secure and comfortable The promise is certainly delivered if not exceeded my expectations You may think your paying so much but it’s such an investment!!! I’m a music and work lover and long distance runner I need something durable and comfortable this ticks in my check boxes ! Can I just say how great their service is especially after care is outstanding It’s not about a quick sale but your treated like a long term valued customers eg if you loose your snugs or have any concerns or experiences technical issues whatever it may be they will be there to step in and help out unlike other companies who don’t bother once the sale is over but snugs is different they care and want you to have the best experience I can’t thank snugs enough they have become a vital part of my every single day and without snugs I can’t operate -obsessed with my snugs and love them just going to upgrade to wireless soon and I can’t wait ! Friendly helpful customer service. Snugs were delivered on time. I have difficulty finding earbuds which stay in my ears. These fit well and are comfortable.

Great purchasing experience. Emma in particular was prompt and helpful throughout the process. The product is excellent, great quality and fit. High price, but in reality spending the same on a new set of earphones wouldn’t increase comfort, sound isolation or sound quality to anything like the same degree. My Sennheiser TW’s (£280) with the Snugs sound better than my AKG N5005s (£800) without. With the Snugs, the N5005s are jaw droppingly good.

Hi, I recently was asked to be a tester for the new snugs app. This was for my first pair of snugs. I new that people have had to travel to get impressions done for there snugs so I was suprised on how easy it was to do using the app. Once I received the graded card, I placed it over both my ears and took photos using my mobile. Then after uploading photos on the app and putting in a couple of details that was it, finished. Shortly after I received my new snugs, they were the colour i picked and with my name on, wich I thought was a great custom touch. The snugs fitted very well. I placed them on the wireless pods and was pleased, the music quality was good and I couldn't here anything else but the music, no talking or back ground noise. Thanks to all the snugs team - Chris
