Sky Caskets saved us some money and helped us deal with the funeral home, which was somewhat uncooperative since we were purchasing the casket elsewhere. Special thanks to Rex for this help and follow-up. Everything happened as promised and the casket was beautiful.

Excellent service and prompt delivery. The one negative is that the TOTAL amount does NOT include shipping. A simple fix though.

Within 36 hours, my mother's casket was delivered to the funeral home. I was very skeptical purchasing a casket on the internet and needed delivery in such a short time and with COVID 19 issues. Matt, their CEO, called me back at 11:45 pm on Wedanesday night and assured me a casket I chose could be delivered. I selected the Aires Solid Maple Casket for my mother. It took 36 hours, but the casket arrived as promised. I had to receive it at the funeral home and when unpacked, it was absolutely gorgeous!!! I wanted my Mother to be buried in a beautiful casket, and that it was. I cannot begin to say how much time pressure we were under to get the casket as we chose not to embolm my mother and it arrived as promised. These guys were great....they delivered a gorgeous casket within a very tigtht time frame and during a pandemic. They came through bigtime. My Mother got sent off in style...and they saved me $3,000. Overall, I was skeptical but this worked way beyond what I could have expected. A fantasic decision!!

Matt, the CEO and Colby were great! We ran into an issue with the casket I wanted not being in stock last minute but Matt quickly called ans offered different styles at no extra cost. He guaranteed it would still be delivered on time, it was, and it was beautiful! I hope I ddint have to use them again for a long time, but if the need ever arises again, I'll definitely be calling Matt!! Thank you to everyone at Sky caskets for making a difficult time a little easier.

Allow me to summarize for consumers reading this complaint. The Sky Caskets team is a fraudulent, poorly run, and incredibly unprofessional organization. I would advise any consumers dealing with funeral planning to stay far away from considering doing business with this company. You will be taken for a ride and will pay a steep price for your mistake. Please stay away from this company. It's not worth your time and money. My sister recently purchased from Sky Caskets directly and was guaranteed a rush delivery time and date as we were preparing to bury our late father. The team was so eager and quick to complete the transaction over the phone but provided little to no clarity on the shipping process, timelines, and overall delivery expectations. We were guaranteed to receive the order at our funeral home of choice at a specified time (due to our funeral home rush planning process during COVID-19 pandemic); instead, it arrived half a day late. When my sister called about the delay, she was scolded, talked down by a misogynistic customer service rep. He refused to listen to her complaint and didn't even bother to assure a guaranteed time. He had no answer for why the company failed to deliver the product on time. Instead, he continued to harass my sister verbally and hung up on her when pressed about the delay. We paid a premium for rush delivery to ensure guaranteed delivery at a specific time to work with our funeral director. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive on time as promised. My funeral director told us that the delay in casket delivery would push back our funeral planning. We had to make the difficult decision to select another option from the funeral home because our casket hadn't arrived on time. We couldn't sit around and wait for a product that wasn't delivered. The same rep calls me at the end of the day and tells me to hug my sister for finally delivering the product. He did not explain the delay in shipping or offered an apology for his poor behavior towards my sister. Bewildered by the experience, I hang up because we have a funeral to plan, and I don't have time to deal with unprofessional people. Not being able to use the casket we paid for because of delays in delivery, my sister called the company to issue a return. The same rep fails to answer her initial calls for two days. He finally gets back to her and submits a return slip for her to sign that mandates Sky Team to collect 95% of the total billed amount for restocking, open box policy, rush delivery, and other miscellaneous fees tacked on. Now the company is disputing the transaction with my bank and stating we were delivered the product on time, which is an apparent falsehood that can be easily proven. I have no interest in resolving this matter with Sky Caskets as they have shown zero interest in handling this dispute professionally with their horrid customer service team. To any future consumer planning a funeral for a loved one, I ask one thing of you: stay far away from doing business with Sky Caskets. They will promise you the world to close a sale but will be a nightmare to deal with regarding customer service, support, and anything else you need. It's not worth the few hundred dollars you may save. Work with your funeral home and keep your sanity.

I highly recommend this company for your casket needs. They are sympathetic to your situation but dont take advantage of you during this difficult time. They have a great selection & many different price points and don't pressure you to spend more. We picked out a beautiful casket for our dad & they even hold it for you until needed and shipped out when we needed it. Thank you Colby & Staff

I feel that this is the most unethical and mean-spirited company I have ever dealt with. The ad stated "Free Ground Shipping." The website stated "Free Air Delivery to the Funeral Homes." When the invoice came showing shipping charges from Utah I immediately calledthat afternoon to cancel.Their website states they are open 24/7. No answer, but left msg. Then I emailed my cancellation the same day at 9:43pm. I immediately got a call back that evening saying he would talk with the owner about some credit, but to give him until the next day at 11am. At 2pm I called and he told me he would call back after talking with the owner. I called twice after that and he said he was working on a $300 credit. I wanted a full shipping credit. He told me to cancel the order but there would be a cancellation fee of 25% for re-stocking and $550 to return item as he had already sent it even though I canceled the order before he could have sent it. He said now I could not get any credit at all because I was not returning the casket. He started yelling at me and said I did not read the fine print. Let me tell you how the order goes. They have you auto-sign on the Internet and go really fast page by page. There is no time to read any fine print as the owner was having me sign so fast. And, of course, I trusted a casket company to be ethical. The free shipping includes a very short distance from the airport.

I have debated whether to respond to this review option for several months. The casket met our expectations. What did not meet my expectations was the shipping charge that was tacked on to the cost of the casket. It was almost as much as the actual casket. I purchased the casket to help my children with the cost of their dad's funeral. While I spoke to a representative of your company about the casket and it's cost, the cost of shipping was never mentioned. Imagine my surprise when I opened up my credit card account to view the charges and found two charges from your company. I don't have a problem with their being a charge to ship the casket. My problem lies in the fact that adding a casket to a truck that was already, according to your representative, going to be heading this way, should not have cost over $1,000.00. My phone call to Sky Caskets got me the explanation that the shipping charge was so high because it was a rush order. Not true. Your representative stated that you had a truck loading up at that time and the casket could be placed on that truck if the paper work was completed and processed. If I had been told that shipping was going to almost double the cost of the casket I would have just purchased one through the local funeral home and forgone the risk of receiving a damaged casket that would have had to be returned. I never say never, but at this time I have no intention of doing business with your company again. Nor will I recommend your company to anyone else.
