This company is excellent in the sense that they are an alternative to purchasing your casket at the funeral home. SkyCasket sells caskets of equal quality to one your would buy at the funeral home with a reduced price... sometimes. My sister and my father passed away within 60 days of each other. When I purchased the casket for my sister, the model that I chose through SkyCasket was $1000 less than the same exact product being sold to me at the funeral home. However, when I purchased my father's casket 60 days later, I thought that I was going to purchase a model @ $995 but they turned around at the last minute at charged $1500. When I asked why the $500 hike, I couldn't even understand what they were saying. Sadly, the casket that they sent to the funeral home could NOT be used because it was not a "sealed" casket model, which is legally required if your loved one is being laid to rest inside of a mausoleum. On the day of the wake, I was trying to resolve the problem with SkyCasket. Matt and Colby acted abysmally. Kudos to SkyCasket for giving people an alternative to purchase a casket for a good value... maybe? Shame on SkyCasket for having no customer-service manner in the moment of a problem. Stop calling your clients "Sweetheart," and don't badmouth the people who work at the funeral home, calling them "$h*t heads," and don't hike up prices by hundreds of dollars from what you are listing on your website. If you are a client who plans to purchase from SkyCasket, just be on your guard. Ask the right questions because they won't ask you anything except the address to where the casket needs to be shipped.

I was unable to get the casket my mother had ordered for preneeds 20 years ago. I looked up caskets on google typed in what her specifications were. called sky caskets, they told me they had what she ordered and could have it to the funeral home on wednesday by 1100am they called me shortly after 1000am on Wednesday, said it was delivered to the funeral home and who signed for the casket. I also paid less than what my mother paid 20 years ago. I would highly recommend SKY CASKETS .

I called to order a casket for my 99 year old father who was a Veteran of WW II. I was fortunate enough to get the CEO on the phone and explained that my father served with General Patton and that I was myself a veteran of the Gulf War. This man was such a gentleman! He said he honors military families and he offered us a tremendous upgrade and discount on a casket as well as free shipping. The casket was so beautiful even the Military Honor Guard came up to me after the ceremony and complimented me on it. I highly recommend sky caskets. The CEO is a top shelf gentleman and a pleasure to deal with.

Sky Caskets took care of my needs with compassion, empathy and patience. I called from Georgia to arrange for a casket for my father in Maryland less than 24 hours after his death. Matthew one of the owners and his employee, Colby, handled my order. It was not an easy task with emotions flowing, but they were great. Once I selected the casket and provided them with a delivery address, the casket was delivered within hours. The price was way better than going through the funeral home, even so, the customer service was spot on in the way they communicated with me and met my needs in a most horrific time. Skycaskets was able to sell us a casket for nearly $3,000 less than we would have paid at the funeral home for the exact same casket. They delivered a day earlier than we needed, directly to the funeral home.

Yes, this company is legit. I had my reservations about it but they delivered as promised. It began on a Friday at 3:45pm and I called the number provided on website to see if they could have it delivered overnight. No one answered and the voicemail message that said something to the effect of "Hi, you've reached the casket guy/company..." put me on edge. I hung up and about 15 seconds later a different number called me back and it was the "casket guy". He told me he couldn't have it shipped overnight due to it being the weekend, but if he got me on the manifest within 10 minutes(I'm guessing the cutoff was 4pm because it was about 3:50 at this point)he could guarantee it would arrive by Monday morning. High pressure moment, on the spot..I was strapped so I went with it. He also claimed he was very familiar with the small town funeral home I was using...doubts about that, I think it was a tactic to make me feel more comfortable. I was charged $1,592 for the cobalt blue casket(he said it is their most popular one). The funeral home prices started around $2,500 and up..so price wise I saved at least $1,000 right off the top. The casket was delivered Monday morning as promised. The casket itself was quite beautiful...not super fancy(the accents on the sides were plastic that were painted to look like metal), but elegant nonetheless. There was a visible smudge on the lining..the casket flowers that sit on top covered the smudge so it's neither here nor there, but it was a negative. All in all, I'm grateful and satisfied. They got it where I needed on time and saved me a lot of money. I would recommend if you are the in the same position as I was...with time and money constraints. Thank you for delivering on your promise and not being a scam casket guy.

Crooks. Taking advantage of people. I will be contacting my bank and the police in Utah. I strongly urge everyone to use best price caskets and not this company. I paid $1000.00 less for the same gauge casket for my father back in November and the paint job was pristine. And it came with a blanket unlike this one. This company has refused to credit my anything even after multiple attempts. Not until I contacted the BBB and made this 100% truthful review did I get any response. I warn you to stay away. Just look at all the other reviews if you dont believe me. It's a shame they took advantage of my family after losing our 16 year old son.

They were very helpful. Website said they had it in stock but they were out. They offered me another casket but my family was set on the Athena. They found me one in Arizona and shipped it right away.
